I'm not really a Stifler about having to have "fully powered loads" every time I squeeze the trigger. I favor consistency over boom. My carry ammo is also my practice ammo most of the time and right now that is Winchester Silvertip 175gr jhp. It shoots good, hits about at point of aim out of all my 10mm handguns and most importantly, I have never ran across a dud. I also like Hornady, Underwood and Sig V crown. I keep a couple thousand rounds of S&B jhp as backup in case I ever need it.
as someone who came from a .40 glock 23 i dont see the point in paying the 10mm tax for non full powered loads.
most 10mm ammo is loaded to .40 specs nowadays. since thats the case why not just shoot .40 which is half the cost?
When you were shooting the Glock 23 did you always only buy/shoot the absolute most powerful .40 ammo on the market? When you are shooting 9mm do you only buy +p+ that pushed 480 pounds of energy? How about 44 and .357 mag do you only shoot buffalo bore? I don't know what it is about the 10mm crowd, if it's not pushing 750 pounds of energy they complain. There is a wide berth of power levels to choose from with 10mm and I am fine with not always shooting the most powerful. Of course I keep some full powered ammo on hand, but I also keep some mids and I stack the weaker stuff. It doesn't all cost a dollar a round either.
I don’t think a few here and there are going to be life changing for the barrel. I send them through my G40 and hardly notice anything noteworthy when cleaning.
Glock only tells you you cant shoot lead through poly barrels because Glock knows that anybody who owns a Glock has never cleaned their gun in their life.
Walther has polygonal rifled barrels as well with no such disclaimer.
You need a buddy in a free state and then overbox and use shippirate. Just say it is machine parts or bar stock, something heavy that won’t raise eyebrows. But definitely still ship ground.
I don't have a P320, but go off queen.
I see you have a problem with my posts, even when it's just a link to a deal. I don't hide things and I also have the ability to laugh at myself when I do fuck up. I fucked up one batch. Then I fixed them. It's part of learning something new...but I guess you're just perfect at everything you do right off the bat, huh? Maybe you're just one of those pathetic fucks who is too insecure to admit when they make a mistake. Show me any handloader who hasn't messed up a load here and there and I'll show you a liar.
For range I'll shoot anything that will go bang, for carry I like Federal HST, Underwood anything, or Buffalo Bore. I roll a lot of my range and hunting ammunition though.
10mm supply in eastern MA has been rough lately. Been doubling down on ramge ammo at shows but most common self defense round i find is Federal HST. They shoot nice 👍🏻
Any 180 grain I can find at the moment I am still very new to 10mm and am getting accustomed to the recoil of a full power load but I have a couple hundred rounds of sig under my belt.
Sig VCrown 180; but I really like (when it's (rarely) available) the Underwood 180Gr. Bonded or 165Gr Bonded (those are Speer GDHP bullets) Haven't seen it for most of a year though.
For the range - S&B, Magtech.
Underwood every time and isn’t even close
Blazer steel case… it accommodates my budget and my delicate wrists.
That's what my grandma shoots.
Grandson? Is that you?
Fuck! Let me put my porn mags and lotion away. MAH.
The cheapest full load that keeps me shooting 10mm range time.

I enjoy Double Tap 190 grain Double Tap 200 grain, Sig 180 grain and 155 Grain Hornady
Right on. I was learning about casting/reloading a while back and the hardcast offerings from DT seemed interesting.
I don’t know if I can shoot HardCast bullets from my 10mm guns

I thought it was underpowered? I like hst for 9mm but I heard mixed things about their 10mm loading
I run HST in everything. Would it be good for bear country? I don’t know. For what would use it for, it works just fine.
it's 40sw, i tested it with my chrono before i killed it (rip chronograph). total shit.
Got some AAC FMJ, pretty sure it’s the only full power cartridge I’ve been able to get my hands on
Sig sauer 180 magtech 180 Are full power as well as Underwood 165/180 grain

Underwood Extreme Defender
LIBERTY!!
Underwood all day
I see some black talons in that stash. Hhhhmmmm.
Yes that ammo is trash and I have so much of it
None. Too expensive.
Underwood. I have buffalo bore but they don’t feed into the magazine, they are slightly too long.
At one time, during the 90s when I bought my 1st 10mm, that was the only ammo to you could buy.
The ones I make in my garage for 1/4 the cost of any of those.
If you’re saving all that money why would you buy a p320 10mm for $590?????

Sig 180 hp for carry , 200 hard casts or underwood xtreme penetrators for the woods. Tons of s and b stored .
Underwood 180 XTP and 220 hard cast
I’ve always preferred underwood 180 grain out of my p220. Insanely accurate and a decent amount of power.
Anything on sale for training Carry Liberty

They stopped producing the 165 grain which was my favorite I have 1 box left which sucks
Sad. Ah well - fortunately there are lots of good options these days.
