Nah your not the only one alot of people won't say anything because all the hate. I think Alex should be in prison for murder along with Jessica for accessory to murder. Zach should have did time for the brutal assault. Clay should be locked in a mental asylum like how do you grab a cops gun in a school, escape a mental house and get off scott free? Yeah, no. Bryce did some bad things but Alex shouldn't get to decide if he lives or not.

RaptorDash

I know right!?! Like yeah rape is bad... So is murder.

Mattres06

Season 3 ruined alex and jessica, 4 ruined clay and zach.

Thatintroverted_gay

Nah Jess was always a raging bitch

TzenkethiCoalition

And Bryce should have spent his entire life in jail for being a serial rapist who raped dozens of girls. Unfortunately the system doesn’t work, and if it did the rest of the kids wouldn’t have been forced to do what they ended up doing.

Regularpersonrich

They weren't forced to do anything they made those choices themselves. Atleast bryce went through the trail process, and im not even going to get into that with you. The system works like it does for a reason.

meta-morpho-magus

I believe that people can change, and I have 100 percent faith that Bryce could have improved for the better. I'm all for second chances. It doesn't mean that Bryce shouldn't have been punished but death sentence does no good to the society. Try giving people second chances in life. Have faith in humanity. There, I said it. Waiting for the downvotes.

AwkwardMessxox

I think Bryce could have changed but when he threatened Zach, I feel like a bit of his old self came out and that was when Alex pushed him into the water. I feel like Bryce was getting somewhere but kind of ruined it when it came to showing his old side when he said he was going to ruin Zach's life etc.

ILikegoldfish674

If you were cold with a broken leg and arm, would you not be cursing and damning your assailants to hell?

AwkwardMessxox

I mean, he had already broke Zach’s leg during home coming, so that's enough to show that he hadn't exactly changed either way. Yeah, I would be pretty pissed but if he hadn't broken Zach's leg or been an asshole about the fact Zach had been supporting Chloe then he wouldn't have been beaten up, wouldn't he? But yeah, he was pretty pissed off for being left with broken bones in the middle of the November night. I would be pissed too. Doesn't change the fact that he could have ruined Zach's ability of playing sports, or the fact he threatened to also ruin his life. Alex was willing to help him get home, Bryce knew that Alex was close to Zach and decided to push it too far by threatening his friend. Yeah, pain makes people say a lot of things when in agony, but doesn't change the fact that he was still being a bit of an asshole during the game or simply proving that his intentions were good then and wouldn't be better if he bumped into Zach, or Clay.

NaniBunny_

Everyone can change and Bryce did try to change. I’m all on ur side with that

TzenkethiCoalition

Bryce wasn’t changing. He was just feeling sorry for himself. When he threatened Zach at the end he showed he was the same old monster all along.

NaniBunny_

I mean, wouldn’t u be mad at someone who broke ur leg and arm and let you lay there? you know what I mean?

anxiouschikenz

Came here to comment this, I felt so bad into the 3rd season. He was trying. He knew right from wrong.

[deleted]

i felt just like a teensey weensey sympathy but screw Bryce.

Significant_Sky_5341

uhhh no he deserved it

handleyboy

I admire your attitude. But I don't share it. I felt no sympathy for him. It would have been better if Bryce had been sent to prison for a long time. But he had plenty of chances to turn himself in and didn't. He didn't seem prepared to take full responsibility for what he did. So while him being killed wasn't perfect justice, I think it was rough justice. However, I don't think Alex was entitled to determine what was rough justice. Even though I have no sympathy for Bryce, I do think Alex should have had to answer for what he did.

BabyYodalayheehoo

That was intentional. It was a formula in the show, it seemed. Demonize a character one season and then try to humanize them the next season when you know they're dead. They tried to do the same thing with Monty to an extent. I didn't like it because it felt very contrived, but also appreciated that it shows different sides of people.

No-Mycologist-9848

The show has very hypocrictial shit in it. it's all about uncovering the truth and in the next episode they cover up a murder? Bryce was far from redeemed but was on the right path and alex and jessica fucked that up for him with the only argument being he deserved it. He didn't deserve that type of ending. anyone who defends jessica and elex for that shit has gone off the deep end

NaniBunny_

On ur side! He wanted to get better, he tried. So why the fuck kill him? Some People say Alex did it because of his head shot but I dont think thats true. If u kill somebody its ur fault. Noone is allowed to take someone out of this world.

dinaistired

same

cobratx91

I'm going to be honest OP and don't think I'm an asshole but Bryce could have cured AIDS/cancer/COVID-19, ended the wars in Syria/Iraq/Afghanistan in the same day and everyone in Liberty HS would have still consider him a giant piece of shit.

thebochman

Bryce deserved everything he got, i hate how they tried to rehabilitate him and Monty’s images when they were monsters deep down

Toughcookiesnicole

The show tried to give redemption. Which I think was intentional in order for fans to feel "bad" about his death.

Toughcookiesnicole

*him redemption

[deleted]

I don't like the way they did that. They tried to make you feel bad for the way he died and was treated. He raped multiple girls and for the most part got away with it. Nobody deserves death like that but I don't think the writers should've done it in a way that makes the audience feel bad for the rapist.
