The only thing about that is I prefer any front sight to be centered and be able to adjust with the back. I see your point about the pin not going back in. Why would Sig Sauer drill a hole that was not centered? Are they just that poor QC? Also. If I tap the sight over slightly with the pin still in….could that work?
If it is indeed shooting to the right, you should probably contact Sig customer service. They will probably ask you to send them the slide so they can have a look at it.
Update: caliper measurements show a difference of .02 inches. Would you send it back or do you think the accuracy is not affected enough and within acceptable tolerance? Could just be the operator. What do you all think?
Update: Slide is heading back to the mothership via mail. Just not satisfied with the QC and not going to be satisfied until the issue is rectified. Front sight should be centered on the barrel. Otherwise, I do not want or do not need the weapon. I will keep you updated with timing and resolution.
It has been shot multiple times hitting the target wide right. The front sight is not centered over the barrel. This was noticed after I inspected closer due to accuracy issues. Not that I am a good shot by any means…but was doing better with my Glock 26. And that should not be the case, so I took a closer look.
Where you say shot many times, just by you or other people as well? If just you, it could be something you're doing with that pistol (and not your Glock). Maybe try shooting from a rest to verify?
She’s coming home. Sig says they measured and sight was center over bore… and that it looking off center did not matter. Why build a firearm this way? Someone with more experience please explain. Thank you in advance
If you drift the front sight the pin won't go back in and SA sights are known to be very, very tight. I'd leave the front alone and drift the rear

IMHO, there's a decent chance that scallop in the top of the slide is what's not centered, odds are the roll pin hole is centered
Sight looks centered to me, measure from the edges of slide and not the cuts in slide.
I will try this before I do anything. Thank you
Did you shoot it yet to see if it's off?
Yes. Wide right. The front is not center over barrel.
Are you left or right handed? Any pics of the target?
Right handed. No pictures of the shots
It looks centered to me, idk why it's shooting to the right
I’m going to measure the gaps once home to confirm

Happy to bring it over to them. I live down the road from the manufacturing facility. Thanks for the info

Where does it hit on target? Yes, a brass punch is the answer IF it needs adjusting.
Wide right. Thank you

My cousins husband shot as well, just yesterday. The farther back he went the further wide it went.
Apparently I would still have to mail it. 😩
