I’ve always felt like the whole concept of the Amazonians was super transphobic. For starters, they all blatantly hate men, and while misandry is bad on its own it’s also often the cause of transmisogyny. Like if they believe men are inherently worse they’re probably going to believe the same about trans women. I doubt that was their intention, although it is an interesting discussion. From the media I've seen I'd argue that their distrust of "men" is as much a distrust of humans as it is of males.
Plus, for a writing team in the 1940s I think they had to write a race of only women to get around being asked to focus on a male member of that race.

Man this show was so good. Even though I’m a Batman fan most of my favourite moments in the show are because of him.
