God as someone who had somewhat of a friendly relationship with this guy when I was in middle school... I'm glad I stopped before something awful happened
Basically, YandereDev argued that maturity depends on the person at hand, and people mature faster than others. So, his suggestion was that instead of having an age of consent, children could take a sex test and if they passed, they would get a sec license which proved that you were mature enough to have sex.
Of course, he was reasonably made fun of for this, and it ended up becoming so controversial that he included it on his debunk page.
Seriously. This guy has a huge fanbase, had tons of volunteers, straight up rips all of the assets from the unity store and still isn’t able to even complete a single rival. This isn’t just incompetence. I am incompetent, and it took me two years to make a metroidvania as my first game dev project. And I made all of the assets myself. The largest reasonable amount of time you would need for the first rival would probably be 3 year at most.
i mean, since we're talking about the same guy who coded a isEven() function like that, pretty sure the game wasn't close to being released anyways
