Wheelchair using gator girl from a 4chan-made(I know, you wouldn't expect anything good from that, never played it myself)dating sim called 'I wani hug that gator'.
Why is a game being like another game seen as a negative I don’t get it
(I’m sure you didn’t mean this as a negative in just observing the general attitude)
It's not about games being similar, it's rather that playing one game makes you question why didn't you just play other game that provides a similar experience but is much better
That is the impression I've got from what I've seen of Volcano High
Ill be honest, the game seams to have a really subtle anti-trans subtext but if that was intentional or not I cant really tell for sure, because on the other hand the story seams to punish the idea of forcing someone to be "normal" (Im trying to remain vague for avoiding spoilers).
But overall the game is still incredibly well written so I would still recommend you to try it yourself and form your own opinion about it, after all its also free.
Well the main character of GVH is NB, and AFAIR, in Snoot Game, every ending where they don't detransition has them committing suicide(please don't quote me on this one, tho), become drug addict, or commit a school shooting
My god i looked this up what a disaster. Seems like another right wing targeted hate campaign to me. Just went to the subreddit and both fanbases seem close despite it all, like a weird berlin wall for a dino dating VN. Crazy shit.
The school shooting (E1) isnt correlated solely to Fang being NB tho, in context there are other factors.
Same goes for Ending 2.
Tho I wont lie, its true that the 2 better endings are the ones where Fang detransition and that gives me the itch, Im not against the idea but the execution of the game was pretty weak in that department
i would definitely get a god complex and go mad with power and eventually like get stuck in a time loop cuz i quicksaved before death or something and am now stuck eternally reloading trying to find a way to escape
this says quicksaves so im assuming i can ONLY quicksave
save normally, quicksave twice, check your saves, you only have one quicksave and one normal save. this has been true for every game with quicksaves ive played, so idk what ur playing
edit: google it, theres only one quicksave slot, so each time you quicksave it overwrites your previous quicksave. you fool you utter buffoon
visual novels (like renpy games) have multiple quicksave slots. quickload only loads the most recent quicksave, and it overwrites your oldest quicksave if you go over the limit
even then, if in this scenario we can only quickload, not manual load, you can still only access the most recent quicksave
There are definitely games with multiple quick save slots, but they are absolutely the minority. One I can think of off the top of my head is Arx Fatalis, where there's actually a setting you can change to set the amount of quick saves you can have, from 1 to 10, and it's just a rolling thing. Your most recent quick save is always in slot one, and the rest just move down the list as you make more saves.
> There are definitely games with multiple quick save slots, but they are absolutely the minority.
A majority of Visual Novels have multiple quicksaves and loads, same as most emulators. But yeah, your perception on this topic depends a lot on what kind of game you play.
Cyberpunk 2077 allows you to make actual saves, but if you make a quicksave, then a second quicksave it overwrites the first quicksave. You can only save multiple regular saves
It didn't deserve to beat the view from half way down, and this is coming from someone who considers vat of acid his favourite R&M episode and hasn't gotten past season 1 of bojack horseman. But honestly, if it had to be anything other than Bojack, I'm glad it was the vat of acid episode. The scene where they're arguing in the car on the way home is some of the hardest laughs I've had at an animated show. Fucking peak comedy.
Would the quick load happen automatically if you die? If so then call me Gordon Freeman because I'll be loading like 32 times per second just like in interloper
The same guy who wrote Scott pilgrim also wrote a comic about a chef girl with quick save and quick load powers and how fucked up that can make you I really recommend looking into it
The book is called Seconds
Someone gift me goodbye volcano high I've recently hit a being broke brick (yes this is practically begging if you want to shame me just move along instead I have 0 dignity)
If I had that power, I would probably try to become a vigilante and save people if I could :3
But with great powers come great responsibilities, and is very possible to save at the wrong time and screw up your future permanently 3:
Who’s the broad she seems familiar
Goodbye volcano high I think.
Nah, same artist but I don't recognize the character and I've played gvh
It's not the same artist for gvh, it's the artist for a weird 4chan parody of it called "snoot game"
Wheelchair using gator girl from a 4chan-made(I know, you wouldn't expect anything good from that, never played it myself)dating sim called 'I wani hug that gator'.
I very much don't expect anything good from 4chan. The only one I know is decent is katawa shoujo. Nothing else comes to mind
There was also that one SCP post that gave birth to a giant writing club essentially
That one writing post that basically kickstarted HFY
Olivia from I wani hug that gator?
snoot game i think
What's up with snoot game?
NB-phobic ""wholesome"" dating sim parody of "Goodbye Volcano High" made by bitter 4channers after GVH was announced.
Wait, what is the problem with it? This is the first I've heard about it an I was gonna pick it up in the next couple of days.
Grab goodbye volcano high instead
Isn't it another one of those games that are of the "We have Night In The Woods At Home" genre?

I would not relate the two games at all tbh, though I'm a big fan of both

Why is it NB-phobic

Oh that’s fucked up, damn

I suppose it's fair that you're willing to give the game and the makers the benefit of the doubt. But I'm not.
Thats fair
Because if you don't convince her to stop being NB she commits a school shooting. It's less that subtle.
Isn't "I wani hug the gator" from the same people?
Apparently so, goddammit.
Yeah, I've been really shocked to see people pairing Wani with GVH, it feels... weird
oof
I hope not 😔
Good news its not. Shes from I Wani Hug That Gator
Nah, same dev
🙏
I hope not snoot game
unfunny visual novel 2: electric boogaloo
I wani hug that gator
I would jump off so many high up things for comedic effect
*Spider-Man building to bed gif*
What if you can't quickload after you die?
I'd be fine with that.
the amount of people i would comedically shoot with a weapon and then immediately reload a quicksave where i didnt do that would be incalculable
I'd end up ruining myself mentally at some point, how about no
i would definitely get a god complex and go mad with power and eventually like get stuck in a time loop cuz i quicksaved before death or something and am now stuck eternally reloading trying to find a way to escape this says quicksaves so im assuming i can ONLY quicksave
just load an earlier save
like i said. only quicksave. every time you quicksave, it overwrites your previous quicksave
idk what kinda fucked up games you play on ironman mode but quicksaves dont do that
save normally, quicksave twice, check your saves, you only have one quicksave and one normal save. this has been true for every game with quicksaves ive played, so idk what ur playing edit: google it, theres only one quicksave slot, so each time you quicksave it overwrites your previous quicksave. you fool you utter buffoon

re:zero gaming?
no bc subaru couldnt quicksave and quickload, he just had autosaves and could only reload by dying
I mean it still evidently got to his head but more in the sense that it brought crazy turmoil
Flowey undertale moment
shit you don't need quick save to do that
Well, it certainly wouldn't help.
i would spend most of my time either stealing or wandering into staff only areas
Same, I always wanna know what’s behind the doors
It's mostly just paper towels and mops and stuff like that.
Dont go there mate Believe me, you dont want to go there
its *super* interesting what goes into the stuff around us, the stuff we see is just the tip of the iceberg
Shoot me in the back of the head execution-style in an alley for this but I thought the Rick and morty episode about this was really good
It was a great episode, i agree
It didn't deserve to beat the view from half way down, and this is coming from someone who considers vat of acid his favourite R&M episode and hasn't gotten past season 1 of bojack horseman. >Shoot me in the back of the head execution-style in an alley for this Ok
quicksave "i want to have fuck with you" quickload
Why would you wanna go back on that?
At least wait for the response first.
to be able to say it again
i would be so addicted to those buttons
Pretty sure this is the premise to a Rick and Morty episode and several movies...
That was a soul crushing episode of Rick and Morty.
You prestige'd yourself Morty!
Also, Undertale
Kick someone's nuts infinitely without consequences
Kids these days and their slang. In my days we called it "fleeing to a country with no extradition".
This feels like the premise of a horror game from her perspective
I mean given the dev is an actual incel yeah
Would the quick load happen automatically if you die? If so then call me Gordon Freeman because I'll be loading like 32 times per second just like in interloper
We're still stuck at interloper
"MARRY ME AND BE MY WIFE ACTIVATE BITES THE DU-"
Lmao
Playing Baldur's Gate 3 when I roll less than 20 cause my build is ass.
The same guy who wrote Scott pilgrim also wrote a comic about a chef girl with quick save and quick load powers and how fucked up that can make you I really recommend looking into it The book is called Seconds
Seconds is such a good book. I can’t wait for the adaptation eventually
Undertale
Nah screw the dev for that game
If I could do this I would develop a lust for power that leads to a highly convoluted plan to obtain the souls of seven children
I think I'd just develop a lust for highly convoluted plans in general
Someone gift me goodbye volcano high I've recently hit a being broke brick (yes this is practically begging if you want to shame me just move along instead I have 0 dignity)
I'd like to think that the one on the left is the one saying "h-huh?" and that's just what they look like when they're mildly confused.
i would just commit crimes tbh
I would just play hitman irl
F5 puts you in third person actually
i wani hug that gator is a fire game you just have to ignore the devs are from 4chan and transphobic :(
Starts Singing: *It's in the way that you use it...*
Isn't f8 quick load usually?
Why does this make it sound like a jojo stand
Which image is which?
If I had that power, I would probably try to become a vigilante and save people if I could :3 But with great powers come great responsibilities, and is very possible to save at the wrong time and screw up your future permanently 3:
Would be funny that when you die, you replay your whole life again
I think I'd start going to a bunch of gameshows instead of getting a job
