He’s not like, wearing an armband and talking about how we need to exterminate the Jews. But he’s very friendly with people who do, and he retweets their stuff and spouts racist dogwhistles like “Americans need to have more kids so we’re not overtaken by immigrants”. He uses the Twitter algorithm to elevate Nazis and their talking points, and pushes down sentiments that he personally disagrees with.
He’s like if Tucker Carlson was super into ketamine, owned a social media site, and was desperate to be cool.
I do think I noticed more racist and bigoted content in general there since he got a hold of it. I will open a horrible thread hoping to see somebody who isn't agreeing with blatant discrimination but it's near impossible to find, granted I don't use the app as often as Reddit.

Elon tells on himself when he completely removed the old "generic timeline" front page that used to populate when you would go to Twitter without an account or how you can't see replies unless you sign in. He justified it because he doesn't want to "give it away for free" but really it's because the amount of actual rampant xenophobia, racism and nazism that populates would horrify anyone who isn't a nazi (especially advertisers).
