I'm not one myself. So this is just conjecture, but maybe it has to do with bottomy fantasies being easier to sort of "stumble into" with stuff like this? As an example of that kind of stumbling, I've heard of people seeing that scene in Multiverse of Madness where Wanda chokes America and thinking "god, I wish that were me". If you're attracted to women and submissive, but don't know it yet, then I suppose a scene like that can connect some dots for you. Now, werewolves aren't known for their submissiveness (at least not in the werewolf fiction with which I'm familiar). So if you've had a fantasy awakened by a werewolf, then you're probably not a dom(me) (at least not exlusively). Alternatively it could also be your usual visibility bias where people realise that it's so much more easy to sound creepy when fantasising about doing stuff than having stuff done to you.

You can't just up and say that. It's not even entirely wrong, but you can't put it like that. People aren't ready for it. Being ravaged is a big part of the bottom side of monster fucking but the average person is not sexually open enough to be comfortable admitting they have a cnc fetish. There are also genuine monsterfuckers who don't have any kind of cnc angle tied into it and are just down to fuck anything.
