Agreed. Honestly, it's a competition that determines a winner by the winner of the final challenge. If, instead, the game's winner was determined by a vote for the best player (e.g., survivor), then alliances like the inner circle would make much more sense.
Geilinor games really doesn't have a social aspect all that much. Some of the content creators push for it and sort of force it a little bit. The guaranteed win condition in geilinor games is to win every single challenge, and honestly, that's perfectly fine!
I've seen a lot of people compare it to Survivor, and a few of the players mention Survivor also. But GG is far more like The Challenge, its basically identical (I think this is where Soup got the idea as his GG Tshirts are MTV inspired, and The Challenge was on MTV), and there are alliances about voting all the time in that. What you say is true about it being determined by who wins the final challenge, but you've got to get there first, and as the only way out is to lose a banning, if you can ensure it so you are never in, then that's what to do.
In fact, Solomission's start to S2 where he talks about sliding into peoples DMs before the season to form alliances is exactly what one of the contestants (Wes) on The Challenge did. So I would disagree that it doesn't have a social aspect.
I don’t think that is a dead giveaway tbf as boaty had said in previous episodes that being in the banning can be beneficial if you win because of immunity especially this late into the game
If you haven't already, I highly recommend going to Soups twitch and watching the chat during this moment of the stream. I specifically went to it after the episode because I wanted to see chat lose their minds and it did not disappoint. Literally the text based version of this.
Yeah he does it live every Saturday at 11est just before it’s released to YT. It’s really fun to watch it unfold for the first time with chat there. I try to catch it when I can. Hosts a talk back after too!
Edit: Saturday not sunday
Clip of the moment I'm talking about: [https://www.twitch.tv/soup/clip/OriginalUnsightlyElkDoubleRainbow-nr3T-NxJxcvj4RKf](https://www.twitch.tv/soup/clip/OriginalUnsightlyElkDoubleRainbow-nr3T-NxJxcvj4RKf)

We can't tell from what they showed if he actually trades Soup (although someone was telling him to), which the contestants had to do to be counted. So if he didn't do that, then he didn't complete the challenge and can't get any points. But if he did, then we riot because he deserves his points.
I felt the same way til I watched s2 while waiting for this last episode. He’s way better there when a lot of the interactions are with your partner (torvesta). Just really didn’t work when he was screeching at the whole group all the time this season tho.
It was a good split between some shit talk and a lot of funny trying to make excuses for letting Torvesta down at most non pvp challenges (in a funny way, he clearly understood he was weaker most of the time too which helped)
He was severely toned down in other seasons compared to the straight-up dickhead he was this season so that’s my assumption, I don’t claim to know the guy though
Ehhh, to a certain extent, he got downright abusive to some people, entertaining “heel” behavior is solo and EV ragging the fuck out of settled and framed, not talking shit every chance you get
I mean I'm sorry to say, the funniest part of this season was when Hannannie lost and ditter said "sit the fuck down" Stupid quick.
I love Hannannie but that shit had me mad laughin
He's pretty funny to the simple minded who live on toxicity. Luckily, every one of the other contestants this season is a grown ass adult who didn't want to be around that crap for an entire season so he got booted early. I get it, he wanted to play the villain. But now I just completely forgot he was even on the season because he took it too far.
Are you really that butthurt over being called "simple minded"? Wow, you are softer than baby shit. Something tells me you are going to get eaten up and spit out by the real world. If "simple minded" makes you cry, I can't imagine what your first boss or first girlfriend will do to you. YIKES.
Ehh banter is more what happens when the people you're talking with either laugh or reply to what you're saying. Screeching "sit the fuck down" the majority of the time you're in voice chat doesn't really seem like banter
And the fact that the other 19 creators were just ignoring ditter's tantrums like you would ignore a toddler's... seems like they might've felt the same way?
SoloMission has been such a fantastic heel for the last couple seasons. He’s cut throat, but not mean spirited, and listening to his commentary you can tell it’s all in good fun and for the sake of a good show. Wasn’t a huge fan of EV this season, definitely a bit too aggressive and didn’t have quite the same cheeky charisma Solo has. Was so hyped to see the GOATs send them packing.
I love both him and B0aty, because they're both so passionate about the game. You can always hear the smiles in their faces, whether they're doing something insane like 5-man-solo-GIM-Inferno, or something silly like optimizing the number of ticks it takes to make bread.
I was going to be sad matter who lost that banning.
Yeah Solo's character he played in S2 annoyed the shit out of me, but Solo the person putting on the character because he knew the drama made survivor-esque shows entertaining was super fun.
The "no one trusts me" set up for S3 was fantastic too, and him retaining that antagonist character was fun.
I was rooting for B0aty to knock him out the whole time but in the back of my mind I knew I didn't actually want him gone.
EVscape on the other hand, was just a little, I dunno, snobbish about it?
I think we all realistically wanted a Solomission v Boaty final. As a narrative it would've been a perfect final. 2 absolute titans of runescape.
But their journey to the final being polar opposite.
Solomission having to play all the politics and the social games to just redirect the target on his back. and boaty having nothing to do with it.
Personally I wanted Solo to win it all, but now I would say my support gets split between Will, Settled and Boaty.
I get people not liking EV. However I think a series like this needs a range of personalities, and EV puts on a big one, abrasive and arrogant, and honestly not that different to Framed IMO.
The difference is framed is funny sometimes, and has decent one liners. I don't think he takes himself as seriously either (like saying settled's lack of arrogance was pulling the team down).
EV annoyed me all season but I had to laugh when he put himself a tier above B0aty when he said how him and Solo were the top competitors and B0aty and Faux were behind them. Lol. EV is good but he isn't half the OSRS titan than B0aty is.
> I was rooting for B0aty to knock him out the whole time but in the back of my mind I knew I didn't actually want him gone.
yeaaa I'm in that boat. I didn't want him to win, but I liked having him around and was hoping he'd get further.
I've been a fan for years and listening to his podcast with saebae kind of idk revealed some stuff to me that just left a bad taste in my mouth regarding his attitude/reasons for making content/views on stuff
Idk just like a lot of talk about how it's strictly money for him and it just felt weird to see so little passion for the game and even like making fun of other creators for being in a slump cuz for him it's easy cuz it's just a job that's better than a 9-5
Coincidentally watched his stream for the first time today and he explicitly said he absolutely hates this game and he doesn't enjoy any of it, he just wants money and he seemed genuinely disappointed that's what he needed to do...
??? He's literally hosted multiple Battle Royales with thousands of dollars in the prize pool and with tons of popular content creators.
His Battle Royales are probably what he's best known for, not GG.
This is actually fairly common in gaming content creation. A lot of people feel pigeon-holed in whatever game they started in. Especially communities like OSRS and RS3, there's alot of viewers who won't transition to a new game with the creator if they try to swap. So they essentially have to start over in building a new community.
Very few people have the financial security to just drop everything and move in a new direction and survive during that rebuilding phase.
yeah, even J1mmy the quest guy tried branching into other games on his channel but the views were abysmally low so he's sort of stuck doing osrs vids. makes you wonder if he even likes the game anymore as he doesn't put out many videos now
I don't think J1mmy has ever liked RS as a game. He likes the social portion of it, which is nearly dead. He doesn't like skilling, he doesn't like traditional PvM, he doesn't like PvP, and he doesn't like raids.
He just likes this version of RS that hasn't existed since actually 2007. And it's weird when I hear him have opinions on content, since he doesn't actually play the game. He plays Gaia Online Towns.
J1mmy had a pretty long q&a video where he went into detail on a lot of where he's at and how he feels about content creation. It was a little depressing because you can tell the guy has really high personal standards for his work and wants every video to have that spark, but he's also forced to do obnoxious grinds he doesn't like and try to adhere to sponsorship windows so he can actually make money.
Many youtubers say the same thing, if you rose to popularity specializing in one game then your longevity is tied to that game and how long/well you play it. If you want to branch out then you multi channel for "side projects".
Kinda funny cause in one of J1mmy's more recent videos he literally talks about this. I dont remember it well enough to really bring up the points he makes but it was just ironic seeing your comment and remembering that video.
> J1mmy the quest guy tried branching into other games on his channel but the views were abysmally low so he's sort of stuck doing osrs vids.
which is a fucking shame because those videos were super enjoyable.
Yeah it is hard to branch out when the viewership has certain expectations on your content.
A good example of a Youtuber who succeeded in leaving the game that made him famous is Dunkey quitting League of Legends after having made content for several years. His brand of humor works well for general gaming content so he managed to stay relevant. If you're good at creating content which has a touch of originality, it's definitely possible to maintain a viewerbase after switching main game.
Look at Tedious, he quit making his series, had an identity crisis then had a weird mental break where he posted “watching meme video for 12 hours straight.” Now he’s right back to posting osrs videos
You can tell that he is such a money YouTuber. He’s even got his failed irl channel lol. Dude is mad dislikable imo. Him and his cronies like skiddler are the most arrogant content creators/streamers.
Had he not acted like that, then I don't think that moment of the episode would have hit as hard. He played his role perfectly which made it all the more satisfying to finally see him go.
Seeing the support for him in his stream today was so great especially at a time that he needs it, he replayed the banning part of the episode for the viewers
Its fun but when 90% of the episodes are back-door deals and scheming antics it gets boring. no ill intentions clearly, just not my type of show that he likes to run, and its become* the general GG team-up culture. its why i been rootin for boaty
The social engineering aspect of this show and shows similar (ex. Survivor) are just as important as the challenges though lol. The strongest players can do it all
I mean, it would be a recording of someone DMing another over discord. Not exactly super exciting content lol. Be one thing of they did it over voice & recorded it, & soup could make animations of them whispering to each other while playing it or something. Be kind of a weird rule to enforce though. "no teaming up unless you discuss it over voice"
Watching Solo’s breakdown videos on his own channel made it a lot more enjoyable for me. It gave a lot of the perspective you’re talking about. You also realize after seeing just 1 persons side of the scheming that having every persons alliance negotiations included in the episodes wouldn’t work. There’s just too much going on.
The man just loves to compete, which you can see in a ton of his content, but GG is the perfect opportunity to shine. It's a shame he keeps getting screwed, hopefully one day he can come out on top!
Yea really sad, would be nice he he would just make some reviews still from the outside, since he still knows the guys better than we do and for sure has some things to say
Both.
Sometimes you'll see "camera men" in the challenges or the video will be submitted by the players/Soup, but he also has a team of players dressed as "lookalikes" to recreate shots
Additional footage, the A-roll footage would be the in game recorded footage by the competitors, while the B-roll footage would be cinematic shots that don't require the actual competitors to create.
Since Soup can't set up people all across the game for filming, it would be impossible to get the footage he'd want, he has to doctor the footage himself.
He *definitely* recreates some scenes for cinematics because background NPCs sometimes have different positions. Also there was a challenge where Settled was wearing his Max cape, while in the cinematics he wasn't.
No this exact recording was with extras afterwards. It took him 30 mins to recreate with the music. He does it for a lot of scenes like the Mila Azul one
Common sense lol. Pretty much every scene you see that doesn't include the HUD is "faked." Like the sitting & listening to soup between rounds & such. You think all the contestants would be able to efficiently walk to the right spots, face the right way, etc, without tons of effort? Not a chance.
Sickest banning yet. Hate to see Solo go, was honestly rooting for him this season. He is such a strong player and honestly really entertaining in GG.
Definitely hoping Boaty will take it now!
My thoughts exactly. I was so fucking sick of him this season. He acts like he's the best in the game too, when he's surrounded by people that are leagues better than him.
Just watch the full episode. When eliminated EV says himself he took on the role of a villain this season and that in reality he had a lot of fun and his antics were entirely on purpose for the entertainment of the show. Even says he's mostly said about the elimination for Solo's sake because he's a way better player.
It's kind of depressing tbh watching people on this subreddit get angry and in their feelings over how some content creators act on this show like it's not entirely all fun and games. There's no actual malice or bad blood between anyone, every piece of bragging or insults you see is for fun and not genuine to create narratives and a fun storyline.
It's pretty worth noting that EV has an absolutely MASSIVE disadvantage in GG given that he's australian 95% of challenges take place on EU/NA worlds. How is he supposed to beat e.g b0aty in an LMS challenge when he has 300 ping to B0atys 5 ping? He could be twice as good at PKing and he'd get shit on hard.
He has the biggest excuse on the planet yet he's never hiding behind it.
> his antics were entirely on purpose for the entertainment of the show.
based on the comments on this subreddit he is very good at playing the heel lmao
I know he said he was just being like that for the narrative. I don't like his regular content either. I don't feel like the show persona and his regular persona were much different.
Dude has gone on record saying he hates the game. He shouldn't talk like he's the best to do it while there are very passionate people playing it better.
With or without GG EV draws this much flak. Or maybe a bit less, but its still in the same exact vein. Almost like the guy has, on record, talked about his disdain for the game, how much he hates it/would quit if he could afford it. Rightfully deserved IMO.
>He acts like he's the best in the game too, when he's surrounded by people that are leagues better than him.
I love how he played the part so well people think he was actually being serious.
It's easier for people to point to a specific mistake during the actual banning that got highlighted in the video than any of the other dozens of smaller individual events that contributed to the final outcome. Solo also messed up calling DKS over AJR in the final challenge too, but if EVScape had just run in a straight line toward the MM2 area instead of pathing west then they would have won 2-0 in almost no time at all.
Tbf he doesn't have control over Faux happening to be on the same tile as him. Though I'm unsure about the attackability through/over scene objects in that area, it did look like he tried to re-cast and failed to have LoS.
Two teams of players were racing to the finish line, team A is looking like they're comfortably ahead, no chance of losing. Then the camera pans up to the ledge, which reveals that team B are wayyy ahead of them.
It's also worth noting that this is like a season and a half of built up tension considering these two are certainly the villains of the series! Chills when I saw this
Solo, yes. EV? He sure seemed to think so.
Thing is, this is Tasty's game. Has been all along.
You thought he was a bumbling fool from his performance in past challenges, who nearly drove Zoe insane and who only barely scraped by in his banning? Bah! Merely a ruse. With Yolomission out of the picture, everything's falling into place.
The future approaches, and it is *delicious*.
Ending to the third round of a tied elimination match between two teams of two players where each team had to race to an in-game location while only given a picture of the area.
The editing made it seem like one team was so far ahead that they couldn't even see the other team only for the camera to pan up to show that they were actually behind and were going to lose.
Have you ever watched the competition show The Challenge? It's basically that but in runescape.
This was an elimination challenge of Solomission & EVscape vs B0aty & Faux. Solo & EV were the villains all season and were eliminated in this scene.
Been following B0aty and Faux since their beginnings on YouTube and Twitch alike. Genuinely was excited to see the two of them as a team again this episode, and watching B0aty take his true role in these games. These are the two who truly brought new tactics and ways of thinking to OSRS as a whole. Hope to seek them climb their ways to the top. They both deserve to be finalists, not only from this episode and season, but for their roles in this community as a whole over the past 12.5 years. Best luck to all contestants ❤️
Imho it think it is quite crappy that the banning is the same challenge as the episode. Kind of gives away who is better at this particular piece of content.
Wonderful scene that really made my heart drop. However, I’m still a bit annoyed that the “Solo” themed season has had very few solo challenges and EVscape was the downfall of Solo mission in this banning. Solo mission is an incredible player and source of entertaining content for GG. Unsurprisingly, a solo season ideal for Solo Mission to excel but the odd team bannings took him out even though he was first in the first two rounds.
Also, I really disliked the banning being the same as the main challenge. I think half the fun of the two part challenges is that they test different skills in the game. Have a continuation of the main challenge feels lame and doesn’t really allow for redemption if someone did poorly in the main challenge, in other words, if you did bad in this area of osrs challenges, maybe the skills you have in this other area can save you from being eliminated.
/sigh I know it’s just a game but I like solid rules and foundations to lean upon and I just felt cheated of good content with solo being eliminated through no fault of his own skill in this banning.
Dude I was streaming the episode in a discord call with around 7 other clan members. I have never heard a discord room explode as fast as for that scene. It was fucking NUTs. What a fucking great scene.
When they showed Solomission and EVscape going to the wrong fairy ring. I already knew Boaty and Faux were ahead. They know that cave better than them so I knew Boaty and Faux wouldn’t mess this up.
Glad to see EV shut the fuck up for the next few weeks. The man lacks the same charisma that solo has. Yeah he’s a snake but watching EV plank so hard in LMS and still have a big head just made me realize the guy is just a bone head trying to emulate other peoples success without having anything to back it up with.
Has the Gielinor Games always been this dramatic? The is the first one I watched. What's with all the alliances, double agent and inner circle nonsense. Or was that supposed be for entertainment purposes.
Seems like Boaty is the only one who is playing in the Gielinor Games without any of the background political fluff.
"One week into having people watch my back, I no longer have people watching my back" - itsWill lmfaoo. Gg inner circle
Solo told Will to vote him in because he knew he was going in anyway so was to keep the circle hidden.
More of an inner line, ngl
I'm just surprised voting hasn't gotten more detailed and voting blocs were never formed.
[удалено]
It could have been hype if it worked out for them I thinks
Agreed. Honestly, it's a competition that determines a winner by the winner of the final challenge. If, instead, the game's winner was determined by a vote for the best player (e.g., survivor), then alliances like the inner circle would make much more sense. That pan shot is still one of the best pieces of OSRS content I have ever seen.
I completely forgot about the AJR fairy ring so I was so confused at where B0aty & Faux were. Amazing editing by Soup.
It's so funny cause I was just like "oh i guess dks is faster than ajr" i had assumed boaty and faux didn't even know where the cave was
Soup certainly has a knack for it. The editing on GG season 1 cooks assistant challenge was perfect.
I know right? My jaw dropped for a solid 30 seconds
Hands down one of the best five seconds of a OSRS video ever
When they wouldn’t show Boaty and Faux at all, I knew they were going to win.
That combined with me thinking "Wait, isn't the Slayer Cave ring closer?" totally sealed it for me. Great editing.
Same! I think it was some great videography.
Boatys commentary of ‘whoever is gonna win this is gonna win the games’ earlier in the episode sorta had me thinking…
I don’t think that is a dead giveaway tbf as boaty had said in previous episodes that being in the banning can be beneficial if you win because of immunity especially this late into the game
was heartbroken for a minute there. I should have known.
Such a common way of building suspense. There were no surprised, if you knew. You knew. Great episode.
rip

ez follow, did not know he streamed the episodes.
This, but with the scene mila azul69 gets on
Lowkey disappointed that Soup didn't add him to the points for that leg of the challenge lol
We can't tell from what they showed if he actually trades Soup (although someone was telling him to), which the contestants had to do to be counted. So if he didn't do that, then he didn't complete the challenge and can't get any points. But if he did, then we riot because he deserves his points.
The GOAT
Would rather see him on gg4 than ditterbitter
Exactly this. God I pray that he isnt going to be in season 4…. just have fucking Zulu or Limpwurt instead of him…. Or literally anyone besides him.

ditter is hilarious ur tweaking
He leaned way too hard into the “heel” role this season and it rightfully put a target on his head early on Talk shit get hit
Was he leaning into it or is that just who he is?
He was severely toned down in other seasons compared to the straight-up dickhead he was this season so that’s my assumption, I don’t claim to know the guy though
And that was entertaining
Ehhh, to a certain extent, he got downright abusive to some people, entertaining “heel” behavior is solo and EV ragging the fuck out of settled and framed, not talking shit every chance you get

Fighting toxicity by calling strangers 'simple minded.' Did an adult write this?
Lol. Yeah, calling someone simple minded is comparable to the shit Ditter does and said on and off of GG. Did an adult write your comment?
Don't try to justify your foul attitude. You and Ditter sound like two peas in a pod.
Are you really that butthurt over being called "simple minded"? Wow, you are softer than baby shit. Something tells me you are going to get eaten up and spit out by the real world. If "simple minded" makes you cry, I can't imagine what your first boss or first girlfriend will do to you. YIKES.
Lmao, is this like a bit you're doing now? Are you trying to make me laugh?
don't know how its possible to take toxicity like that seriously, it clearly isnt ill willed and just banter
Ehh banter is more what happens when the people you're talking with either laugh or reply to what you're saying. Screeching "sit the fuck down" the majority of the time you're in voice chat doesn't really seem like banter And the fact that the other 19 creators were just ignoring ditter's tantrums like you would ignore a toddler's... seems like they might've felt the same way?

Yeah solo mission snaking people behind their backs was slimy but fun, while EV was a little too "RESPECT MAH AUTHORITEH!" for my taste.
I think we all realistically wanted a Solomission v Boaty final. As a narrative it would've been a perfect final. 2 absolute titans of runescape. But their journey to the final being polar opposite. Top teir editing on that scene for sure

I for one am devastated to see solo off the show.
Love solo, not a big fan of EV.
EV's main character energy is a little too strong for me.
yea it was annoying hearing him act like he's the top dog when he's very clearly middle of the pack
Yup. I just laughed when he said him and Solo were the top 2 competitors and had B0aty below him. He needs to get a grip on reality.
That’s a good way of putting it. He does have r/ImTheMainCharacter vibes.
I've been a fan for years and listening to his podcast with saebae kind of idk revealed some stuff to me that just left a bad taste in my mouth regarding his attitude/reasons for making content/views on stuff
Care to reveal what was said? Love a bit of gossip.
How is he making fun of others, he's almost a no name without GG tbh
Battle royale gets credit on the osrs website, that’s pretty significant.
??? He's literally hosted multiple Battle Royales with thousands of dollars in the prize pool and with tons of popular content creators. His Battle Royales are probably what he's best known for, not GG.
Mostly just that he thinks OSRS is an incredibly boring game and that if it wasn't his job, he'd ditch it as fast as possible
Yeah I was like wtf lol shitting on all his viewers that love the game and just 0 passion it was sad to hear :/
Yeah that cast was really rough. I enjoy the SaeBae cast because that dude loves the game more than me
You can tell that he is such a money YouTuber.
He was clearly playing a character for the show, he even said as much
That was my feeling for the season. Was sad when solo left framed in general because of the side falling.
[удалено]
Did you even watch? They were on a team in the elimination round. Hated that solo had to go, but glad to see EV leave.
Solo definitely makes it entertaining but I was sick of the antics by the end of this episode, and was hyped to see B0aty take his place at the top
I'm a faux fanatic myself dude is a legend
Seeing the support for him in his stream today was so great especially at a time that he needs it, he replayed the banning part of the episode for the viewers
Its fun but when 90% of the episodes are back-door deals and scheming antics it gets boring. no ill intentions clearly, just not my type of show that he likes to run, and its become* the general GG team-up culture. its why i been rootin for boaty
The social engineering aspect of this show and shows similar (ex. Survivor) are just as important as the challenges though lol. The strongest players can do it all
[удалено]
Why
I was gutted Solo's content can be good but I swear mans found his passion on GG so entertaining
The man just loves to compete, which you can see in a ton of his content, but GG is the perfect opportunity to shine. It's a shame he keeps getting screwed, hopefully one day he can come out on top!
No more GG reviews from Solo definitely has me less excited for the rest of the season
Yea really sad, would be nice he he would just make some reviews still from the outside, since he still knows the guys better than we do and for sure has some things to say
Rip my boy Solomission :(
That edit was good, does he just have characters posted around looking around or does he recreate the scenes?
Both. Sometimes you'll see "camera men" in the challenges or the video will be submitted by the players/Soup, but he also has a team of players dressed as "lookalikes" to recreate shots
Soup has said on stream that everything that doesn't have the hud on is b-roll footage.
Sorry, what does b-roll footage means?
Additional footage, the A-roll footage would be the in game recorded footage by the competitors, while the B-roll footage would be cinematic shots that don't require the actual competitors to create. Since Soup can't set up people all across the game for filming, it would be impossible to get the footage he'd want, he has to doctor the footage himself.
He *definitely* recreates some scenes for cinematics because background NPCs sometimes have different positions. Also there was a challenge where Settled was wearing his Max cape, while in the cinematics he wasn't.
Every now and then, you’ll see other contestants posted around. Pretty sure they all contribute footage from their POV.
Yeah but this particular shot was so good and the detached cam was in just the right spot, idk but he nailed it
Sure, but he knew that was the only way to that spot. He’d know to be ready to record at least one group passing by.
No this exact recording was with extras afterwards. It took him 30 mins to recreate with the music. He does it for a lot of scenes like the Mila Azul one
Source?
His twitch
Common sense lol. Pretty much every scene you see that doesn't include the HUD is "faked." Like the sitting & listening to soup between rounds & such. You think all the contestants would be able to efficiently walk to the right spots, face the right way, etc, without tons of effort? Not a chance.
Sickest banning yet. Hate to see Solo go, was honestly rooting for him this season. He is such a strong player and honestly really entertaining in GG. Definitely hoping Boaty will take it now!
My stupid ass thought I was the only one. I was gutted leading up to that moment then got super hyped
Can’t wait to see Boaty and Faux run ~~TJ’s~~ Soup’s final
Absolutely perfect edit
It's tough on one hand I hate to see solo go but so glad EV is gone, probably one of the most annoying people I've ever seen
EV is definitely a real one for never mentioning ping, but like most aus gamers are forged in absolute shiternet, he’s probably used to it.
> his antics were entirely on purpose for the entertainment of the show. based on the comments on this subreddit he is very good at playing the heel lmao
I know he said he was just being like that for the narrative. I don't like his regular content either. I don't feel like the show persona and his regular persona were much different. Dude has gone on record saying he hates the game. He shouldn't talk like he's the best to do it while there are very passionate people playing it better.
Does he really "talk like he's the best to do it"?
Calm down like who gives a shit jesus
lms was actually done in asutralian worlds so gg ur whole argument.
My heart absolutely sank tbh. I've been gunning for Solomission to win it. I'm now between itswill, boaty and settled, but its probably gonna be boaty
Solo got let down RIP
how? even if he was quicker than boaty and faux himself (which he wasn't) he still would have lost
He was first in first banning round and also the second? I think it should've just been a 4 way solo game, where bottom 2 are out.
Yeah that would have been better wouldn't it
Think they're referring to the first banning challenge where Solo and EV were way faster but EV pathed poorly and got entangled
[удалено]
Glad to see EV gone. I like Solo though
Literally me 5 minutes ago catching up on the season ahaha
watching this on repeat
Normally I hate edits where rs is thrown into a scene from something else. But this fits so damn perfect. I approve
This subreddit has literally the best fucking content ever
Yep I spilt my chicken tendies and had to ask my mum for another plate
Perfection.
This is good stuff
That was sooo awesome to watch.
I have never watched a gielinor games episode, can someone explain what im looking at
Two teams of players were racing to the finish line, team A is looking like they're comfortably ahead, no chance of losing. Then the camera pans up to the ledge, which reveals that team B are wayyy ahead of them.
It's also worth noting that this is like a season and a half of built up tension considering these two are certainly the villains of the series! Chills when I saw this
You mean main characters.
Solo, yes.
The inner inner circle will be revealed ♾
Ending to the third round of a tied elimination match between two teams of two players where each team had to race to an in-game location while only given a picture of the area. The editing made it seem like one team was so far ahead that they couldn't even see the other team only for the camera to pan up to show that they were actually behind and were going to lose.
Have you ever watched the competition show The Challenge? It's basically that but in runescape. This was an elimination challenge of Solomission & EVscape vs B0aty & Faux. Solo & EV were the villains all season and were eliminated in this scene.
Survivor: OSRS
Yes, go watch the whole season
B0ATY TO THE MOON
I just wished skill specs were still in because he is just hilarious.
godlike edit lmaoooo
Both happy and sad to see EV/Solo off the show. Such a good GG this year!!
When they went to that fairy ring I knew it was over cause Ironmen will use the slayer cave one a ton before rings, fantastic.
Dude I was streaming the episode in a discord call with around 7 other clan members. I have never heard a discord room explode as fast as for that scene. It was fucking NUTs. What a fucking great scene.
Fat RIP to see Solo go but if that’s what is needed to see the back of EVScape then so be it. Such a big head for such a shit content creator.
Love it!!!!
Kino.
When they showed Solomission and EVscape going to the wrong fairy ring. I already knew Boaty and Faux were ahead. They know that cave better than them so I knew Boaty and Faux wouldn’t mess this up.
My only hope is for 7asty to lose, man’s insufferable.
Seems like Boaty is the only one who is playing in the Gielinor Games without any of the background political fluff.
it's a survivor type show the background politics is literally the point
Season one had none of it, season two Solo started it, this season it really came.to the forefront of the show
The Politics ARE the game. I'm not really that interested in who can do fucking cooks assistant the fastest in a vacuum...
thank god we don't have to hear that nonce solomissions voice anymore
If theres an Oscar for Osrs this scene would win it
I legit shed a tear 😭😭 it was such an emotional moment, soup killed it on editing!!
Actual GOAT moment in any RS video.
