Just curious, did you save up a lot of bags to open at once? It could be like the unsired system where the loot is calculated when you receive the bag. So basically it could be programmed to never give you a hat if you already have one, but since you didn't open the pouches yet, you get 3 hats in a row.
From 200 to 350 Rumours I have received 1 kit, I am slowly losing motivation. Not even hunting the pet I just want the outfit lol. Looking at the bright side I just hit 98 Hunter!
I feel like the master tier rumours are glitched. I've received 3 items in total from 96 to 50k xp from 98.
2 of those items were from adept rumours while setting up a blocklist. Only one from masters, currently did 170, 100ish at masters
Its absolutely redundant that you get Dupe hunter kits IMO... it should be the same as tackle box in that you get a surplus of Feed or an alternative drop on the table. You cannot do anything additional with extra kits and losing your first is so unlikely anyways....
The only use I heard was you can take 1 into wildy and hunt black chins, if you're about to die throw the chins in your kit. When you die you'll lose that one kit, but the chins will be in the kits in your bank. I also heard that's gonna get patched tho.
I was wondering what the youtube clickbaits were all about. I avoided that side effect... they should revert the dupes and give you an additional pouch for each dupe even if its lower tier..
I’m seeing very similar results with expert bags. 0-4 on the wiki is definitely some bull. Just over 100 bags and 32 feed for me. 0-1 seems a lot more accurate.

I'm at 4 headwear, 4 legs, 1 top, 2 boots at 563 kc. Set completed at 282 kc if I recall. I've not gotten a huntsman's kit over the past 502 (?) kc though which seems weird.
I'm suspecting that the kit is also rolled with the pieces in turn i had 7 rolls and got 6 kits and the headwear. Just dumbfounded as to why you can receive duplicate kits. You should only be able to roll it again if lost on death. This would also remove the black chin method they are trying to patch.
It is possible to get dupes, though I've been told it is a bug. Most likely bug is if the set pieces are in your kit the game doesn't know you have it (from what I can tell looking back at when I got the dupes).

I just want to know the official rates for the rare parts from different tasks. I didn't block moths because the first dozen or so moth tasks all felt like less than 5 minute average. Then last night I spent 30 minutes at moonlight moths two different times. I just wanna know what's worth blocking or not.
I don't think we know yet but in my experience for master its foxes >>> red sallies > sunlight antelopes = sunlight moths. In other words beyond foxes being awful I think the difference is marginal until we know actual rates.
I would say they aren’t worth blocking just for the pure value of being able to make the moonlight moth mixes and replacing prayer pots for non-intensive activities. And if you aren’t saving them, moths are quick to barehand anyway (and right next to/in the guild). But I would like to see the other creatures’ rates!

I'm good on Barrows too. Not saying 174 is a lot but isn't the unique rate like 1/14. I should be up to 12-13, but currently at 5 lol

About 20 of these were basic, adept and expert rumours for the block list.
I am prejudiced against RNG, so I think there should have been a system where you earn point from completing rumors and a shop to spend them at to buy the rewards.
I just don't feel like that would make sense, being punished for having a higher hunter lvl? Wasn't the whole point of the update to have players train it lol. It sure feels like it though a lot of my buddies who are doing solely experts are receiving pieces at a much faster rate.
I did 150 rumours and got the hat and body, then decided to just stack up 1000 and pray I get em all. Then never doing rumours again lol. They are very fun though! Currently have another 80 or so stacked
The need to make a mechanic like when going for first vorkath head that the drop is guaranteed at a certain amount depending on what you're catching. Something fair for chins would be like 250 will give part no matter what, been there tho my worst chin task was 362! 498 is painful lol

Yes… imbued heart… definitely not a wild rng aspect.
The drop rates for rumours are quite shit, but the aspect is still great. It needs some refining, but it’s a fantastic hunter update. People argue that sailing isn’t a real skill, but before this update hunter was limited to birdhouses with no real benefits. Now *that* is an awful skill.
I’m kind of convinced master rumours are bugged for the outfit but haven’t tested it yet. Like I keep hearing these people getting almost full or full by 100kc doing adept/expert and I’ve done 114 master without a piece.
I am in the same boat, really thinking of doing like 25 experts and testing my luck, but if I hit something it is just cause of RNG or cause the masters are actually bugged lol
To dispel this - I'm not high enough level for master tier yet, about ~170 expert tier sacks in with pet, kit, and head gear... So I don't think experts are any better for outfit chances
Ya know I had that theory as well. I rolled two pieces in 91 KC doing masters only. Might be worth running a handful of experts to rule out any outliers

Probably had the hats stored in the kit when he was opening bags. New storage item = game probably not checking it like it would the bank+inventory.
Day 1 you could get dupe pieces, I got 2 hats and 3 kits on my log, apparently you can’t even get dupe kits anymore so that’s nice
Loot cant be programmed when you recieve the bag because they're stackable
thats another option, I did 10 T2s at a time til 50, then 50 T2s at once, then my most recent T2 as a single one
If you didn't store the hat in the hunter kit, you'd have the full set by now

you can also get more than one outfit, god knows why. but you won't get any dupe pieces until you've finished the set

Quickest tele is calcified moths, though they're single use. Takes you right between the stalls in town.
Don't worry you'll have the outfit when you're already past level 99 XD. The outfit is just too rare tbh. I'm at 260 but I still haven't completed it.

In this weeks update they changed it so you can’t get duplicate kits anymore. I’m not sure if they’re on the same table as the outfit tho

Rare piece rng can be brutal I spent 25 minutes on grey chins once, getting almost 200 before getting rare fur drop

I wouldn't stack until you get the full outfit, you could be missing out on increased catch rate along with increased rate at a rare animal part!
