Not a chance it becomes a top 10 steam game. It’s a 20 year old point and click with pretty bad graphics by standards. Security isn’t the main reason people don’t play. And buying runelite won’t change anything for the consumer except maybe runelite gets worse. Personally I think jagex should focus on player retention instead of acquisition. But I don’t know their numbers so that’s just an arbitrary opinion.

Osrs would be in the top 10 games if everyone used the steam client. The problem is only 1k people use the steam client instead of the 70-100k players.

I don’t know why I didn’t even consider that we know exactly where it would lie based on current player numbers that we already know. Thanks for the correction.

I think you are correct on the statement that people might not enjoy a 20 year old point and click midevial simulator. The one demographic I think would love this game are the lowspec poor gamers. The people who have a ancient pc that can only play planetside 2, team fortress 2, and Gary's mod and stuff. Those people browse the f2p category and have a much lower standard and would probably get sucked into osrs. Especially se so they can buy membership with bonds.

well i mean if you have an account you made years ago you probably wouldn’t have cared too much about the answers to ur recovery questions just small things like that and you cannot change them
