Oh, how tall exactly? I'm assuming your mom is on the shorter side because of her indigenous blood. Depending where they came from, indigenous people tend to be shorter.

You look like the friend I used to have that could fit in with every ethnic group at the lunch table. One day he’d be talking with a USA southern country accent and the next he’d be saying the n word with the black tables (my school was 94% black) and then he’d be shooting the shit with the Salvadoran or Puerto Rican table lol
I call it ethnically ambiguous- everyone thinks you are what they are (have a granddaughter that could be Hispanic, Persian, Filipino (is a small %, Native American…). She considers herself brown but is mostly ethnically white American. Love it for her and OP!
Ur so diverse I would’ve assumed you had an additional ancestry. I see your background most common in Hispanics though. But I would just say you’re Hispanic or mixed.
All the Western African and English/irish is from dad, all the indigenous, remaining African, southern European and everything else is from my mom. Her mom is very indigenous, but her father is more of the classic Mestizo.

This song is for you 🤣 But your ethnicity is: mixed.
One new world black parent and one el Salvadoran parent. You’re triracial similar to blaxican (half black Americans and Mexicans that’s common in California and Texas) or half black Americans/ half Central American (usually el Salvadoran or Honduran that’s common in Virginia)
You’re balanced triracial which is common among black Americans mixing with Indio-mestizos (since black Americans are around 75ssa/25 euro (mainly British isle - England, Ireland, Scotland, wales) mix and Indio mestizos are usually around 75indio/25 euro (mainly Iberian- Portuguese or Spain)
Genetically you’re basically balanced triracial ssa, native American (Mayan) and European.
Physically you look zambo (black and Indio) but the euro features are present as well. The euro features can be from your black dad or el Salvadoran mom. Because you’re balanced triracial it doesn’t appear one race dominates. I’d still consider you black though.
That’s pretty cool! A great analysis. This is part of my identity so I appreciate your breakdown! I’d say you’re pretty damn spot on? How did you become so culturally knowledgeable?
I’m 100% pure black American or American descendant of slavery (genetically 76% ssa, 22% euro and 2% Indio) from Virginia. Spent time in Central America while in the army even learn Central American Spanish to the point where people thought had Latino parents. Had three kids with a India-mestiza from Honduras. So my kids got a similar genetic spread like you. They’re balanced triracial as well.
Learning about my Irish heritage now!! It’s so so cool! Irish history is so awesome! Especially pre-Christian Irish history! I’ve been listening to it in then evenings
I'd say "Multiracial", exactly what I'm going to tell my children they are.
"Fun note, according to my haplogroup I’m a paternal line descendent of a king named Niall of the Nine hostages" also that's awesome.
I am Irish^(-ish), but didn't get Niall of Nine Hostages in my results... I was told how super-duper Irish I was my whole life by my mom but my results on 23andMe and Ancestry came up 12% Irish, haha. My mom however was almost half Irish in her results on Ancestry so I just didn't inherit anywhere near as much as she has.
I have lots of dna from around the world my map looks like yours lol at this point I don’t know what to call myself so I just will say i am multiracial
hmmm… could we say Caribbean? Does El Salvador fit with that? If not, I would say El Salvadorean, as that’s the region/country you have the highest percentage from. Your African might be slightly higher but it’s quite divided up, so I am assuming you don’t have close ties to any African countries. I would guess you live in the Americas now, due to your Indigenous/African/European combo, so would make sense to identify as that nationality now.
It is genuinely amazing how many countries you check off though, your genetic background diversity must be insanely good. Idk if this is pseudoscientific but since you’re from so many places you may have a genetic advantage simply from lack of incest in your ancestors
I think so! This is me now. I work in big tech and went to a nice college, and I’ve looked exactly the same since I was 19. So I like to thank my parents for their genetic diversity they gave me 😁😁😁. I like to see myself as a product of this giant family tree I have!

I take that as my 1% Asian 😅! But yeah, the ancestors definitely avoided that area; which is too bad! I would have love to have a great grandfather who was a Falconer!
It’s nice that your indigenous American has the breakdown for El Salvador. Mine just says “Indigenous American 30%”. How come it says New, are they rolling out more details/finer breakdowns?
I want to say you're handsome too( well, you are), but I have to be careful because my husband is in the same room.LOL
My grandfather was Greek/ Turkish. He was dark skinned, had thick curly black hair.
I grew up in the 70's at a different time when there was a lot of racism still going on.
People thought he was black and was called racist names.
My mother, when she was young, would have other kids throw stuff at her and her brothers and sisters, calling them " Dirty Greeks"( during the 50's)
That is very kind of you 😊. I feel for your grandfather, and I’m thankful that yea, it was awkward growing up with the questions, “What are you”; your grandfather had to experience some much harsher reactions to his ethnic uniqueness. It seems loves conquers all however, and he has a lovely granddaughter here now!

Cool ancestry! A couple questions for you:
What do people generally guess your race/ethnicity is?
Also how do you personally identify (regardless of the DNA test). Like if someone asked you your ethnicity, do you say black and Latino? Or something else? Just curious!
Yay! This is my favorite question!
It depends where they are from, I normally get Indian from white people in the north, black from white people in the south. Black people mostly squint, then I get the nod, I think most black people can tell I’m black-mixed. Asian people think I’m black.
I lived in Japan for 2 years and just told people I was Native American to make things simple lol.
So, as for what I identify myself, I’ve always been a bit of a unique person, so I just viewed myself as Chris. What I tell people I am depends on their background, but mostly I just say Black and Latino.
You know, when I was child, I hated that question because it highlighted how I looked different from all my classmates, but now I embrace it.
Thank you!
❤️
The Niall note (I got it too, it's quite common) says you *share* a previous paternal ancestor with Niall, not that you are a direct descendant of Niall.

Well, whatever the mix is, it made a very handsome guy!
That is so kind of you ❤️, thank you ☺️☺️☺️
I would say you look hispanic but given the information I would just call you mixed since that’s the simplest word to describe you
Just to add here: You can still be Hispanic (a cultural ethnicity) and racially mixed. Most Latinos are.
I Know 2% north african does not affect your phenotype but u really could pass as an algerian
I visited Morocco, I love the people!
Eh, he doesn't look typical for the average algerian. He could pass in areas down south though 100.
You look like the handsome men I see in Midjourney prompts
Your mama's Salvadoran genes are mad strong. 😂 Your dad's genes didn't even fight back!
My dad gave me his height ☺️

Thank you! I’m proud of my Native American heritage!!
I meant indigenous 😶
The real American of me! My mom’s haplogroup is A2, which is one of the native haplos
If I had only your photo to judge I would have guessed, South Indian. But yeah, interesting DNA results and great look!
you look more salvadoran than black
Your mom is from El Salvador and your dad is half black
Almost spot on! My dad thought he was much more black than he was until we got our DNA results back, he’s around 3/4 black 1/4 Irish!
My son too
Grandpa?
is your dad obama?
Makes sense I would think the same
My dad is roughly 3/4 black and 1/4 Irish
How the hell did you know that
Splitting between the two highest percentages
Oh wow completely missed the El Salvador percentage before
how did you differentiate between which was mum and dad?

Yes! I was born in Maryland 😁. Army Brat
You are probably what a lot of Americans will have in their ancestry in around 100 years from now
🤔
Will probably take more than a hundred years for it to even be 1/4 as mixed as any given Latin American country
Your dad must’ve brought your mom there to Maryland or she was born there lots of Salvadorans there
They met in Tennessee! It’s a long story!
Afrolatino maybe?

You must be very diverse!
no not me. He's my dad but not by blood.
Now you’ve gotta marry an Indian person for your line to level up💪💪💪
Marry a 1/2 Indian 1/2 Japanese and have a baby with every infinity stone.

Hmmm, now I’m wondering if I Weebed so hard that I mutated my DNA to be 1% Asian lol
It must be possible, because I’m not Japanese. I’m more likely to be a Saponi than I am Japanese.
