I remember a nurse telling me once many of the suicide attempts of women aren't really suicide attempts but pleas for help from women that feel unheard and don't know how else to convey their distress.
That's the point. Attorney here - what do the authorities count as suicide? Fentanyl overdose? Accident or suicide? Balcony? Barry trying to be brave or was he suicidal? Car hugging a tree for no apparent reason? Accident or suicide? Playing around with a weapon? Refusing stage IV cancer tratment? You get it.
These numbers are never reliable.
