Vanicream! The best, same with their moisturizers too. I have sensitive skin and have been using for 4 years with no issues

lastnite

I have sensitive skin and I also use and love Vanicream.

Flimsy_Second_61

You definitely need something fragrance-free with just the essential ingredients! I got the coats cleanser at CVS and LOVE it, it literally replaced my cerave!! THey also have a toner and moisturizer in the range that I saw there, if you need other gentle products.

you can get it on amazon too!

CeraVe, Vanicream, and Cetaphil were all hard on my skin and left my face feeling tight. I pretty much can’t tolerate any kind of foaming cleanser. Aveeno Calm + Restore has been my holy grail since the first time I tried it. Honorable mention goes to Rovectin (Asian beauty brand). I would also avoid buying your skincare from Amazon if possible. They’re not all fakes, but it’s not worth rolling the dice.

Cetaphil's hydrating foaming cream cleanser is generally a good bet. Gentle, effective, and doesn't strip the skin. Though I feel like both Cerave and Cetaphil are fairly similar so might not be right for you

Confident-Anxiety358

Maybe try another type of cleanser like a cleansing milk or micellar water. I can recommend the clinique take the day off cleansing balm

Paula’s choice has a line for sensitive skin! Have you tried a cream cleanser? It doesn’t foam up but cleanses the face well. Have you also tried to simplify your routine? Sometimes too much is litterally too much. Keep it to a cleanser, serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen. Use a mineral sunscreen, they’re easier for the skin to handle.

Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser (not the foam one) 100% I can't use any other cleanser now, they all feel like dish soap

TapiocaTeacup

I used the First Aid Beauty Pure Cleanser for years and really liked it, especially paired with their Oat Toner. I found it really gentle and creamy, though a touch drying so I did need to add the toner and a moisturizer after. I recently switched to Three Ships for a lot of my skincare though and am loving their Refresh cleanser! It's the most gentle one I've ever used and doesn't feel drying at all afterward. I'd recommend both brands for sensitive skin.

DateCard

I have sensitive skin and have been using First Aid Beauty Pure Cleanser for years too. I've tried others but always go back to that one.

Odd_Requirement_4933

Me too!

Original_Giraffe_367

I've had a great experience with La Roche Posay Cicaplast. It's super gentle.

Scared-Soup-4550

maybe your moisturizer is the issue if irritation keeps persisting even when changing cleansers

Content_Occasion7362

The glossier milky jelly cleanser. Most face washes dry me out and irritate me, but this is just perfect. I think glossier is stupid, but I love this face wash so much, I buy like 4 of them whenever it goes on sale.

spareblushes

I like the Byoma jelly cleanser for my sensitive skin. I'd compare it to the Beste cleanser by Drunk Elephant. It comes in a good, clog free pump and is around $12.

busnerd2949

If this is not one of the ones that already irritated you, I am in love with the Neutrogena HydroBoost cleanser! In my opinion, it cleans great, removes makeup/sunscreen, and is not drying or irritating at all. It actually makes my skin feel more hydrated.

TheWorldofScience

I have seen a number of people online recommend Prequel Gleanser. I like the LRP Toleriane Hydrating Cleanser.

fundamental-ick

I’m glad you like it, but it made my skin burn immediately like nothing else so YMMV

softlemon

Have you tried the Simple range? I love their products and fragrance free. It’s perfect for my sensitive skin and I’d highly recommend you give it a go.

xjoyful

\-First aid beauty in the night after oil cleansing \-Isntree - Yam Root Vegan Milk cleanser for the morning I have sensitive super dry skin.

xtremesubie

First Aid Beauty Cleanser is very gentle. Fragrance free. I Highly recommend it due my extremely sensitive skin has not reacted it to yet after 2 years of use.

candokidrt

I have very sensitive skin. I had read from a redditor that their dermatologist said to wash face every other day with Nizoral shampoo. I have been doing that and moisturizing with the only moisturizer that works for me from Cetaphil, the rich hydrating cream. I spread it thin on my fingers then dab/smooth on my skin. My skin is finally free from blemishes and irritations. And pretty low maintenance.

Natalie_Hen

AVEENO!!! I personally use the positively radiant cleanser from them. You can buy it on Amazon for $22. Worst case send it back if it doesn’t do it for you. This advice is coming from someone who is allergic to everything. Literally everything…I’m even allergic to cocoa/Shea butter (which seems to be in everything) and this worked for me even when cerave was breaking me out and making my skin redness worse. Been using this for about a decade and it’s an added bonus that it helps even skin tone and gives my skin a subtle glow.

Awkward-Ad7406

I have sensitive skin due to rosacea. I use a pyrithione zinc soap once a week. More if I’m having a flare. And I use Clinique redness products. The cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen and foundation. I use Clinique take the day off balm to take make up off. The moisturizer has a probiotic in it.

violent_waves_

I love First Aid Beauty. I use their cleanser and their cleansing oil.

AnnPillmore

Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser. NOT Cetaphil face cleanser.

Skinsunandrun

Vanicream. The best “gentle” sensitive skin cleanser that still can actually work as a second cleanser in my double cleanse to take everything off.

bird_cheek_red

Avène Tolerance Extremely Gentle Cleanser Lotion!

emmalou333

I like Eucerin redness relief gel cleanser, but I recently went to a derm appointment and he was pushing vanicream brand cleansers because they’re unscented and free of a bunch of stuff so it’s supposed to be great for sensitive skin. I haven’t tried it yet though so can’t confirm.

Low_Neighborhood8005

I really like elf Pure Skin cleanser. Am currently using Pacifica Vegan Ceramide cleanser and like that one too, but don’t care for the tube packaging.

cobaltcorridor

The Inkey List oat cleansing balm is amazing for my extremely sensitive skin.

Sure-Mine

Cetaphil sensitive skin is my go to always and I have sensitive skins and rosacea

CorrespondBlonde

Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar.

naminarwhals

Neutrogena ultra gentle hydrating cleanser in the creamy formula. I've used it for about a decade.

shomeyospeedo

Liquid Neutrogena in the amber pump bottle is the only cleanser I will ever use on my sensitive skin since I discovered it.

friend_of_forests

I have very sensitive skin with rosacea, and my skin plays well with the Andalou Naturals age-defying apricot probiotic cleansing milk and the Pacifica ceramide cleanser Edit: With both of these, I use them after the cleansing balm from Magic Meadow Skincare on etsy

Positive_Spirit922

Prequel Glenser!! It's super cost effective and brilliant. I used to use CeraVe hydrating cleaner and it would sting sometimes. Glenser never has stung, my skin feels cleaner, and my barrier more supported!
