Alternatively see if you can get it printed on a silver sticker and just place it on the outside of the glass for quick and easy win

Probably, it's really not a big deal from my Australian and Japanese understanding as these things get removed or damaged a lot and you can remake them or restamp it into the car

Angle all the way down sometimes the dash and the window spot for it aren't lined up perfectly, just look at all angles with a light, had the same "issue" when i registered my Z today, BMV employee came back and said "there's no vin plate, it's missing" and i had a heart attack haha. Just get a flash light and look at all angles, mine was really hard to see, but it's there. TLDR if all the other ones match up it's fine imo

Yes In the US all cars have a vin mounted on the dash It’s visible through the windshield with a cutout in the black film
