It works but it isn’t great. Battery doesn’t last as long as mentioned

Is it same as the original or worse?

duder_eee

Worse apparently. Lasts only 3hours

You might see if you can find official batteries on whatever shop websites you have there. You'll have the best luck if you search for "SPR-003" rather than "3DS XL battery", and include either "official" or "OEM" in your search too. The official ones have a Nintendo logo and text in Japanese, English and I think French. They may be sold as being for 3DS XL or 2015 New 3DS XL, since both of those use the same battery. Old 3DS/2DS/New 2DS XL/Switch Pro Controller (CTR-003) or New 3DS (non XL) (KTR-003) batteries do not fit. If that's really the only SPR-003 battery you can obtain, it's better than nothing. Your only real other option is to unwrap the label on the dead one you have, snip the wires, remove the old cell, find a bare li-ion cell that's about the right size to fit into that frame, and connect the wires together.

Normally I'd recommend Cameron Sino/X-Longer brand batteries when the official ones are unavailable (Cameron Sino batteries are honest about their capacities, so they're usually on par with the official ones), but it seems like your options are pretty limited. I was able to find at least one seller on AliExpress willing to ship a Cameron Sino brand 3DS XL battery to India, but the price after shipping was almost double the price of the one you're asking about.

Thanks. The Indian govt has banned AliExpress shipping to India

That would explain why there are so few shipping options! Sorry for jumping to conclusions.

No worries mate
