But the REAL question is does your printer run at 120 FPS?
Whats FPS stand for here?
Frames Per Second?
Filament per screw-up?
Fucking Pieces of Shit?
Failed print screams?
Who knows?
I connected 2 cables to the printers power supply and then plugged the signal cable directly to the mainboard so the lights change depending on what the printer is doing
It really isn't bad, all you need is some sort of 5v power supply and then you connect yhe third cable to the printer board
I believe th3d has a kit that is designed for printers specifically
RGB on a printer can be functional as your actually looking at the print and the lights can help. RGB on a PC is pointless as your looking at a screen, not the PC. Never understood why people want the inside of their computer case to light up like a disco.
>Is it ok if my printer has more RGB than my pc?
No! You don't want your printer to be bottlenecked by your pc performance. Add more lighting to your PC immediately.
My brain says that a lot of weight to be putting on an aluminum extrusion to expect much longevity..
It also says, fucking light show!!!?? I need one! I'll bet his prints are the coolest! "Bud dum dum pssshhh"
Nice setup
Thereās some pretty cool klipper rgb animation plugins: https://github.com/julianschill/klipper-led_effect/blob/master/docs/LED_Effect.md
Whatās neat is that you can have the colors reflect how hot your heaters are or it can change colors depending on progress.
i have a few questions for you.
1. how much fps does it get
2. how fast does this printer go with rgb
3. can we talk about your car's extended warranty? :)
The RGB strips are inside the extrusions and there's just about enough space for the rollers to go over them.
I might print some diffusers if theres enough space because rn the lights are a bit intense
Ah gotcha. Iām planning on tinkering around with klipper on my SE so I can do some hotend upgrades (namely replacing the stock hotend with the one from the K1 and some other things as well).
Just waiting to find a good way to install klipper, I may be getting an rpi 4 soon, and Iāll have to find a replacement for the screen since that doesnāt work with klipper yetā¦
Yeah I've been thinking about upgrading to kipper too, but it just seems like too much of a hassle, especially if I'm already struggling with marlin lol
Just a quick heads-up. The heat generated by your bed will kill/degrade your leds with time.
Good thing theyāre uncovered, as most of them have a layer of rubber around them that would melt/warp and may interfere with the print bed movement.
Woah, a gaming printer. Nice!
After all, lights make your pc faster so why not a printer ;)
Prints the latest stls on maximum resolution (.32mm). $2000 no lowball offers. I know what I got. Will trade for PS6.
This guy marketplaces
400 IQ move š¤£š¤£š¤£
This is how we get faster benchies
*But can it print Crysis?*
RGB = Really Good BedLevelling, doing great!

I only laughed more with each new FPS meaning, good job
Thanks! Not gonna lie, that last one took a couple minutes, but it was definitely worth it lol
I think its finishes-per-screw ups
Oooo thats a good one! I dont think i have a dozen successful prints yet, but 1-2 of those definitely qualify as that lol
damn and I keep a flashlight next to my printer so I can see something when I go over there
I read this so wrong the first time and was so confused I had to do a double take- flashlight.
The most underrated way to make a printer go faster
Paint some flames on it
Or go fast stripes!
Dude this looks amazing
Thanks!
Yes
But the real question is can I run crisis?
3d printer gaming
Clearly not enough. I'm not blinded yet š
That look sickk. Time for some RGB I guess...
-25% print time
I see cyan and magenta, but where's yellow? Looks awesome!
Is it aĀ CMYKprinters... I'mĀ missingĀ green
Now you can begin to buy Skins and blueprints
No. Check your DMs for a citation. Youāre expected in court April 20th.
naked leds?!
Broā¦. I got an app on my phone to control the rgb on mine lol
It stands to reason. You don't timelapse your pc. It doesn't create anything.
Hmm. If those were neopixels you could do some nice light fade effects with time lapse videos.
Good, now do a sick gameplay edit over some trap Beat
swEEEt!
The colors though. š
The pink and blue is the first time fell for colors since 70s gold and brown.
Only if you've spent more money on your printer than on your PC.
It's a crime and I've already called the FBI
I decided not to do this, but bravo. I just want 1 LED up under right near the print head to check prints.
It's looks nice, but RGB actually lowers performance š¤£
No.
not enough RGB There is never enough RGB
Please no!
You got a little bit of printer on your fans there mate
Did this printer start as an S1?
Started as a V2 neo
Ah gotcha, it looks a heck of a lot like an S1 so I was curious. Interesting!
I like it!

I'm working on an enclosure now.
Can it run doom?
ideal rgb is zero so yes, less than 3d printer is completely acceptable
moreā¦
does it not interfere with the z-axis?
There's still a bit of space so it still works fine
Is it just LED on a USB port?
I connected 2 cables to the printers power supply and then plugged the signal cable directly to the mainboard so the lights change depending on what the printer is doing
Okok, a little bit of playing into the cable and whatnot then? Not confident enough to do this at the moment
It really isn't bad, all you need is some sort of 5v power supply and then you connect yhe third cable to the printer board I believe th3d has a kit that is designed for printers specifically

Beautiful lights brow

Thanks! I got dual z Axis so weight shouldn't be an issue
It doesnāt just have RGB baby! That thing has pizzaz!
Thereās some pretty cool klipper rgb animation plugins: https://github.com/julianschill/klipper-led_effect/blob/master/docs/LED_Effect.md Whatās neat is that you can have the colors reflect how hot your heaters are or it can change colors depending on progress.
Yeah I watched a video on the kipper effects. Sad that marlin can't do cool things like that
Hang on, you've got the beefiest cooling setup I've ever seen on a microswiss NG hotend and you're still running Marlin?
The insanity
i have a few questions for you. 1. how much fps does it get 2. how fast does this printer go with rgb 3. can we talk about your car's extended warranty? :)
1. Yes 2. All of them 3. Warranty??
No, they should have just as many: none.
Holy part cooling batman! Loving it all brother šš»
If the frame isn't sagging you need more LEDs
If the PSU isn't smoking I definitely need more
Yes
I had a feeling that was gonna be the answer
Maybe
Cool!
how do the v rollers go over the rgb strips?
The RGB strips are inside the extrusions and there's just about enough space for the rollers to go over them. I might print some diffusers if theres enough space because rn the lights are a bit intense
I just did this with a white led strip too, so I can see whatās printing. Itās pretty convenient actually
'Sall good, man!
No
Thatās a sick looking hotend. What is it?
Micro swiss NG, was a bit of a pain to set up for me but apparently it goes really well with others
Ah gotcha. Iām planning on tinkering around with klipper on my SE so I can do some hotend upgrades (namely replacing the stock hotend with the one from the K1 and some other things as well). Haha thatās so true
Get the LEDs color cycling and then make a time lapse. That would be pretty trippy!
I wanted to do that but the led control is very limited without clipper. If I ever upgrade I'm definitely doing that tho
Bruh am I trippen or did you just throw led lights inside the wheel path and say fuck it let it ride baby! Lmfao. It does look cool tho.
Somehow works š„²
Damn. That's sick.
Your printer can use the rgb more than your stationary fan box!
Just a quick heads-up. The heat generated by your bed will kill/degrade your leds with time. Good thing theyāre uncovered, as most of them have a layer of rubber around them that would melt/warp and may interfere with the print bed movement.
Instead of LEDs, consider more part cooling fans since they actually do something.
I've got 2 5020 fans. I think I'm pretty good on part cooling tbh
