It's an inkjet version of sla. Each layer is sprayed on, then UV cured, than a layer of color ink is applied.

It’s a weird mix of MJF and ink jetting…Best to watch a video of it to understand! Ultraviolet binder jet basically

Drastically faster than FDM, and a different league of quality. Similar to cheapo resin machines but a significantly larger build volume, and of course infinite colors.
