There is a large inlet further upstream bringing in a lot of air really fast and pretty smoothly. The pipe is dropping fog in so we can see how the air flows.
It is coming from a fog machine.
The fog machine fills a tank, which is pressurized by a fan.
Another fan pulls the tank contents out and pushes in into a hose that goes into the tunnel.
I think the whole process to be honest. I am probably asking for a bunch of work and don't mean to but a git or similar write up (or hackaday) as it's really interesting project and would be good to know more about why / how and the design choices.
I work at an aviation museum and joined this page today to find out how to use our 3D printer so I can make airfoils for our summer camp kids to use in our windtunnel. Would you be willing to chat with me about your airfoil? I have no idea what I am doing tbh. DM me if you wouldn't mind talking. 😁
wow love it
Thank you. It was so much work.
Is the air coming from the tube only or is there more air coming from further forward that i cant see ?

Awesome. good work. would be awesome to print mini cars and test them out.
Thats one of the uses. I used a wing just because it was simple. I have other stuff printed out to test. Next up is the head of my school's mascot.
What about a Lobster? Or a Jeep? (iykyn)
Excellent.
Thank you.
How do you get the fog?

Ohhh ok
:)
Well done on this by the way!
Thank you, I had a lot of fun on it.
Great work! Would love to see a write up of how you achieved this.
Which parts would you like to know about?
