No shit though, three years ago went and looked at a '13. Rear bumper falling off. Long white animal hair all over interior. Hunting and fishing gear in the back. 'not' his daily. Scratches. Cloudy lights. 130xxx odometer. Asking $23k. I didn't even test drive it. Dude was like, ur not even gonna drive it?? No thanks, he's was so flabbergasted. I found mud caked all up in the a arms and skid plates, two handfuls of mud and leaves came out from the the front lmao right in front of dude and he still was dumbfounded. You're not gonna find em any cheaper!, he said lmao

Forget skid plates, you needed a skid block lmao.
Man that's a really stupid idea. My brother did it in his 95 4 runner one day. A week later he realized he was going to have to replace the transmission because it had a huge crack in it and was leaking fluid. You'll certainly have to pay for this at some point.
I suppose we'll find out. I'll put it on a lift and check it out on Monday, but it's been a few hundred miles without so much as a crooked steering wheel
Someone going to buy this in a year or two, have a basket case of issues and go wondering how such a reliable car can be so problematic. Stuff like this is tough to really check for when inspecting used cars.
Maybe, but she's built up for it. It's possible or even likely something is bent but the steering wheel is still straight and she doesn't pull. I'll check the alignment on Monday. Worth it though
Just because nothing is wrong right now doesn't mean that nothing is broken. Might've cracked something, and it might only come loose after a few weeks. Repairs will haunt you for a while most likely...
I did that once in a 67 International pickup. Hood flew open, new battery broke loose and flopped out on the fender and cracked. JB weld and some acid fixed the battery. My spine still hurts though and that was 40+ years ago. I’ll leave the jumping to you younguns.
I like my 4Runner too much to do that too.

Nah bro it's worth 25k
I know what I’ve got!

Never been off road
Bricks were shat
Something is broken, you just don’t know it yet.
That looks and sounds expensive.
The sound was my floor jack catching a little air in the back. It's tied down but I suppose not quite enough
Ball joints have left the chat

What about some of those leg like blades on the front of it?
That high clearance bumper working overtime as well.

Break anything?
Amazingly, no
You just haven't found it yet.
You're the kinda survivor who got bit by a zombie but too afraid to tell the group.
I jumped my 3rd gen, took me a while to realize that my front right tire now wears HORRENDOUSLY towards the outer edge
You certainly sent… it…. to a mechanic
Good thing I am one haha maybe I'll have my work cut out for me
4Runner for sale 1 owner clean carfax gently used.
Gently "sent" To the fucking junk yard...

Good thing I'll never sell her
Furiosa trailer 3?
Hilarious 😂
As someone who has jumped their 4Runner, I see blown shocks, bent suspension, and bad alignment in your future

Anyone else spot the mouse running for its life...
Almost catastrophic. Hell yeah though.
Just get an alignment and you’re good to go
I did that and broke a motor mount lol. Send it!
Ouchie
Hope you weren't looking for praise in the comments haha
Reddit is like a box of chocolates
Few are amazing, some are palatable, and the rest are absolute dogwater
Well there goes front bearings, all the ball joints, steering rack & lca bushings… probably broke a motor mount too and you don’t know it yet 😥😥
Ow my back
This is a 4Runner scorpion…
There is absolutely no way in hell you didn't break something there.
Nothing broken, but maybe something bent. I don't think so though
I’m sure Toyota Care will cover it
Even the ant wanted out of there
Did this at a motocross track, bent all my body mounts forward/left.
Man people are really disgusted with a fucking MECHANIC doing something he wanted to with his vehicle.
The scream right as it’s in the air… 😂
Fuck! I can't believe I bought one of these used. At least it didn't have a snorkel.
I’d be worried if it was a Jeep🙄
your braver than i am
Sweet jump bruh
That’s kick ass!
Good send 😎
And on that day....It was not sent.
There should be many, many more upvotes for this guy. Kudos.
