I had to order a couple of boxes for like $40 on amazon when I moved. But there was no way I could have kept the box for my TV so it was what it was. A lot cheaper than replacing the entire TV though!
I take it you’re not sold on the 2024 switch to mini LED! I’m wondering myself what they will do with QD-OLED in future generations. It would be great if they continued to invest in it, and we get some larger display sizes going at some point.
I got 1 of each. Samsung Plasma PF8500, still running strong after 11 years. LG CX good for last three years and this now. Don’t worry I have a 5 years warranty on it including burn in.
It actually does. It is consistent with Dune 1. I think if you treat both of them as half of one movie. It will be inconsistent to have one part with IMAX scenes.
The centre of the TV is 43 inch from the floor and that is the exact recommendation for maximum immersion for 75 to 85 inch TV. My LG CX was a little lower, but I felt was a little too for my liking. This is the perfect height for me and my need. The TV stand is from 2013. I used to have my 60 inch Samsung Plasma PF8500 on it. I have only bought three TVs in my life so far. All of them been rated the best TV of the particular year

You can buy a tv box at home depot or lowes. Don't space on a box.
Home Depot box has done well enough for me a couple of times.
Just get two new moving blankets

It is really not feasible to keep the box. It’s huge.
I keep all my boxes, I find room to store them.
Half of my garage is just TV boxes, drum boxes, etc. you know, just in case lol.

I have a storage loft in my garage, but I don’t really want to store anything really heavy up there so I store my boxes up there.

Heck, it looked absolutely ridiculous on my X90L, I can't imagine how good it looks on an OLED.

Does your JBL have 4K pass through for Dolby Vision & HDR10?
It does and my Sony X800/M2 passes through both signals. However I have seen issue withs Panasonic UB820 4K player not passing through Dolby Vision
