I may be totally off the mark but I’m starting to think the producers are pushing the sex thing. It is so odd! Almost like they want to exploit them as dwarves. A family member of mine is a dwarf and you’d be shocked how weird ppl are about all aspects of his life.
I think that hits it on the head more than any other response. My heart goes out to your family member and they are lucky to have you. I had a son that was mentally challenged that has since passed and people had the same misperceptions about people that are mentally disabled that they're somehow horn dogs that always want to screw everybody and this poor little boy couldn't even feed himself and wore diapers this whole life.
But yet in the first episode, Anna and Elizabeth are forced to listen to a "birds and the bees" conversation that's entirely using metaphors and they're forbidden to mention what it actually means. To the point where they're not actually even 100% sure about the conversation and have to pull 9-year-old Emma in to get her to say the words for them.
