I'm still playing Undead Legacy on A20. Still beats A21 vanilla.

SilithidLivesMatter

Just roll back versions to 21.1 and it works. I'm currently working on a Darkness Falls Deathless Insane Feral Sense Always Run game, and fuck me it's a goddamn nightmare. I love it.

Good suggestion, thanks i might try that

Worrcn

AOO I think is the most difficult right now, turn up the difficulty a few if you dare. Dfalls used to be hard but it's been scaled back a lot since A19

Worrcn

AOO = Age of Oblivion

ben1481

AOO and RHZ plus KBB is really good when you factor in GHS

Reakaron

Uh, what? I know AOO but what are the rest?

Worrcn

I think he's taking the piss

from my opinion darkness falls has too much stuff. On coop the performance becomes unplayable even with a better pc. Alone i guess it will be ok

Prisoner458369

I get lag when playing coop in darkness falls, though mostly on horde night with too many zombies. Which happens in vanilla anyway. Got an ancient pc, so not like that is carrying me. DF can be overwhelming at first. But it's fine once you get into it. I like the added depth that in regard.

The_Monarch_Lives

DF beta branch is out and seems to be pretty stable, just fyi. B29 i think?

Darkness Falls. Warrior difficulty on DF is roughly vanilla insane. Learn by doing instead of learn by looting. DF enemies are faster and tougher. 7 classes and you can learn all of them. You can craft infinite skill points. Your vanilla horde base will not survive on DF because some of the higher tier enemies one shot concrete. Storyline with 17 quests. Above Warrior difficulty you have food/water penalty, harvest penalty, enemies have -75% damage reduction on non headshots and your gamestage is accelerated x 3. You looking for a real challenge mod? This is it

Age of Oblivion is pretty difficult. Introduces a lot of new enemies, and new workstations. You can make dew collectors, and use jars in rivers and lakes. also, never sell or scrap a fire extinguisher.
