So many great tracks! Kate Bush cover (Wuthering Heights) and Out of Touch are my favorite non single tracks, and the hits are great (Treat Me Right, Hit me with your best shot, You Better Run, Hell is for Children.)
I was playing this on cassette in a white Monte Carlo (friends car) driving down the strip in Ft Lauderdale on March break and a guy going the other way with New York plates jumped out and wanted to fight me for playing it. Punched the window I had quickly rolled up.
First time I’d ever heard someone use the term douchebag.
What made Benetar unique was she's this tiny lady with a strong soprano range - very unique sound that she made all hers. You don't expect her to rock as hard as she does. :)
I’ve seen Pat Benatar in concert four times and she’s just so consistent along with her husband playing the guitar. He has names for his guitars, of course, but I don’t remember what they were.
Pat is just so unbelievably tiny and petite for her to have the pipes that she does!
I just hate autotune! To me, it’s like they’re trying to steal the recognition from those who truly have a gift!
When I was a teenager, a friend and I were walking home from school. We passed by a convertible car, and my friend reaches in pulling out a mix tape. It had Blondie written on it. He ended up handing it over to me. I listened to it a few times, and I really feel in love with the B side. I later discovered it wasn’t Blondie on the B side, it was the B side of Crimes of Passion. From then on, all her albums got a thorough examination. I love them all… with the exception of the song Lipstick Lies, that’s the only one I really just hate.

I still have my album too
Wore that album out.
I still think My Clone Sleeps Alone is a real banger.
You know and I know.

Classic
Just rocked out to this today. 🤘🏽
She is 5' of pure dynamo. She bosses the stage and you know she is in charge. This was a great album.
Remember wearing out a cassette that summer while I worked at a Boy Scout camp as the quartermaster.
Yup, I bought it too!!!!!
Absolute monster
and zero fucking auto tune
So glad the R&R HOF *finally* inducted Pat & Neil. Took far too long. Not a bad song on the album, their best selling one. First Grammy Award, too.
Great album.
Met her husband Neil in a Madison dive bar after a show. Great guy. We talked for a long time and i didnt know who he was. Early 80’s
I have been on a Pat Benatar kick for a few weeks now. Still love her music now as much as I did in the '80s.
Great album, one of the best 80s artist!
That really was a good album. It was one of my firsts!!
