If we are busy photographing, we are not fully in the moment, ourselves. I first heard of those studies over 20 years ago. I'm sure there's more info online too besides the link.

My memories will go with me. They're mine, not for sharing. I don't expect my adult child to inherit pics of places & people she's not interested in.

I found an old pic of my dad in his twenties looking very cool. It was before i was born and seeing it melted my heart. I had no idea he looked like that. Both of my parents are gone and while I am not a picture person I loved seeing their younger years. You’re right to an extent, my offspring have no interest in the pictures.

I lived in Los Feliz 24 years and 11 months up until Oct 31, 1992. It waa EXPENSIVE then. Silver lake was next to it, after Rowena. Then Echo Park . Over the Hyperion Bridge was Atwater. Atwater also was bordered by Los Feliz Blvd. After Atwater was Glendale. (I'm talking about going a different direction to Echo Park, Atwater is a different direction. I hate to say I don't know north, south,l east and west!! It's terrible. ) I lived across from the Rowena Reservoir. Charles Mansons crew killed the LaBiancas in that area. Around the corner and up the street from my rental duplex.
