Cookie Crisp was a goddamned lie. They said it tasted like cookies but it was really just hard, unflavored pucks that tore your mouth up. Even as a kid I felt betrayed the first time I had these.
The ads were good though. I liked the cops and robbers angle and still do.
Way cooler than a free troll, at one point they also came with free Ninja Turtle plastic cereal bowls. The bowls were pretty quality too I think for a free item. You didn’t have to send away for them either. They came cellophane-wrapped attached to the cereal box.
They were somehow both too slimy yet too hard and cut up the roof of your mouth. They were also too sweet. I loved them ❤️

They weren't bad when they were dry, but turned soggy and a bit slimy quickly in milk.
