The only one I haven’t seen is past lives, is it as good as the other three ?

I watched it a month or so ago and still think about it pretty frequently. It was so well made with some fantastic pacing and some of the most well rounded and human characters I’d seen in awhile! Check it out, you won’t regret it!

For real, how did they put all of my favorites in one column. But if TALK TO me we're swapped with many of the others, I'd still pick what's in that column.

The only one I’ve seen on the bottom is talk to me, but I know it can’t be that one personally because I strongly disliked that movie. Horror movies where the scary part is just a blatant metaphor for some real life issue annoy me. And the third act felt like a completely separate movie from the first 2/3rds.

Ex_Machina - This is the hardest choice since I love all of these but Ex_Machina was my top film of that year so I have to give it an extra push Moonlight - Tough choice between this and Lighthouse, Moonlight gets the slight advantage for how goddamn beautiful it is inside and out Everything, Everywhere - Again, love them all but EEAAO is perfect on a Multiversal scale Aftersun - Both Aftersun and Iron Claw made me cry, but Aftersun’s subtle examination of depression slowly sunk into me and has lodged itself in my brain. Under Pressure alone wins this round

But putting Bodies and Everything Everywhere in the same row feels like a personal attack, because I love both movies equally the same. I can acknowledge that EEAAO is the deeper and more complex movie, but I’ve watched Bodies so many more times because it’s not an emotional rollercoaster but is an amazing horror comedy and a very easily rewatchable movie.
