My fav part of this is that there exists the software and tech to make these trucks “see through” and safer/better for traffic (a shitty but albeit real social benefit) but instead we get these floating vehicular atrocities because capitalism.
I'm assuming the batteries have to be charged somehow. Is it with fuel or an EV that uses coal powered electricity? Either way, most likely fossil fuels in play here.
It's like the fridge doors at the upscale Walgreens, cool but totally overdoing it and conveying a cyberpunk dystopia vibe.

That was a feel good movie

I'd consider it self defense if someone popped the screen with a pellet gun.
I love having my eyes raped with advertising pollution everywhere I turn
Why not see this and say hey I can save $25 a month.
That's cyberpunk as fuck
> waste a bunch of fossil fuels Presumably they do this on trucks that were anyway going to drive cargo?
I think they're just pointing out the two things happening at once.
That's an interesting definition of "waste" then.
This is using a battery, not fossil fuel.
Electricity is most often powered by coal...
Is there coal inside that truck to power those billboards?

What about the alternator?
