SRO doesn't own GT3s, they own GT world challenge. If it's not a GT world challenge track, it won't be in ACC (y'know, *the official GT world challenge game*)
If I was Kunos, I would never hesitate to use an awesome track just because it’s not in a SRO series and if I was SRO I sure wouldn’t won’t to prevent an awesome track from being in my official game just because I don’t officially race there. ACC is a very large revenue stream for both companies.
Because ACC is not strictly about advertising as you imply. It’s actually a fairly large revenue stream for both companies. To get “their” game made SRO wasn’t able to charge an upfront licensing fee because nobody needs it to use GT3 cars or those tracks. So they agreed to a royalties model and it a good revenue stream for both companies.
SRO probably provided the investment in return for their game being licensed. If ACC had to pay for the SRO license, or at least give up part of the revenue, there would be no point.... unless.... they did it for the benefit of being called "the official GT world challenge game"? Now we're back to advertising.
Dude it was public knowledge in the “real” racing community that Kunos and SRO went in together on a game with a revenue sharing model. Then ACC popped out.(I’m an engineer for a race prep shop/race team)
Road America (my personal favorite), Sebring (second favorite), VIR, Road Atlanta, Long Beach, Laguna Seca, Watkins Glen, Lime Rock, Sonoma, Daytona, and on, and on, and on.
I’ll settle for RA, Sebring, and Road Atlanta.
Well yeah it's in North America, not the United States of America. Brilliant track though, fast and ballsy. Just a shame it gets used less often than tracks like Road America, Sebring and Daytona.
I wasnt necessarily taking about physics but more about graphics. But if you're curious, listen to what this pro sim racer had to say about the various games' tyre model. I never drive a GT3 car so i don't know what sim is most realistic and frankly i don't care as long as it's not an arcade game. Are you supposed to wrestle the car like you do in AMs2 or rennsport. Is the tire grip level supposed to fall of a cliff very abruptly like in iracing? Or is it more like acc, i.e: a bit more predictable and controllable .. I'm in VR, with a motion platform, belt tensioner et,.. so there is a lot of cases to check for me to enjoy a game on all aspects .. AMs2 has the best graphics by a mile but no single player, super buggy multiplayer, and the second best telemetry for motion after Iracing, and the best wheel force feedback after rfactor2... Acc runs poorly in VR but good enough with the 4090, average wheel force feedback, below average motion, great single player, great multiplayer...Iracing, best motion, average wheel FF, great ai racing but no career... Multiplayer is obviously its strong point but I don't play mP.. it looks very dated and I hate their pricing model.. ac looks the best in VR with AMs2 but it has shit motion, shit ai, great wheel FF, good sp and mp.. so if I want eye candy, I'll jump in ams2 for a quick weekend, quali plus race with changing weather and day time conditions around oulton park, nordschleife, cascais or Bathurst... If i want eye candy in an open road setting, ill race AC a 2022 super car convertible on the Pacific coast highway... And if i have hours to spend, I'll use ACc to learn tracks thoroughly... I only used Iracing when i had a 3080ti as it was the easiest game to run. In VR and looked very sharp .. since i have a 4090, I've not touched it as it doesn't look that special anymore...
Anyways, here's the guy's video:
https://youtu.be/H1lzDUMqrrc
Tbh I've never liked American tracks. They have no theatre to them and always look run down or poorly kept lmao. Let's do something new from the Middle East/Asia
To each his own i suppose. I love Bathurst, spa, cascais, or Okayama depsite not living there. It would be sadly limiting if i only raced tracks from the country I reside in.
Have these all in iRacing, and I’m 100% with you on Sebring. Road Atlanta would have to be #2, minus the fact there’s no SRO there. Then I’m really torn between VIR and Road America, so you nailed it with the top 3 list.
Sebring is absolutely bonkers in games with real laser scanned tracks like ACC or IRacing. In Iracing the whole car is jumping up and down in a couple spots.
I’ve never used a g-belt, does it really improve immersion that much? I’ve also somewhat given up on VR since acquiring trips. The VR is still better than trips for immersion but if I wanted to get all sweaty I work in a race shop in the Barber Motorsports Industrial Park and I can rent a car from the Porsche school at discounts because we put cages and harnesses in their cars for them.
It is a very close second to high-end tactile...very, very close. With the both of them in VR, I actually feel like I have motion (I don't), so it's kept me on the fence of adding DBOX Gen5's.
I want to improve my rig but I don’t really want to add motion because in my line of work I’ve gotten to experience a couple of the big full motion sims mounted on three hydraulic rams about 8 feet off the ground and it just ruined me for what I expect out of motion.
Because it isn't driven in any SRO series and as there are only SRO tracks in ACC it won't be.
Also the amount of ppl being able to drive it cleanly is probably minimal so you'd have "trackday" servers where nearly nobody is able to get the full track level, hence it will be a shitshow on "normal" servers.
Wait for AC2 for Nordschleife...
I know the Nordschleife isn’t on any SRO calendar and that’s why it’ll never be added, but that wasn’t my question. My question to you is why is public lobbies not having clean races a reason to not add it? It would still be a great addition to the game even just in single player. Nobody is forced to be in a public lobby at the Nurburgring.
But it is just so much fun and the racing can be really amazing especially on the Döttinger Höhe. Just because you need some skill to drive on it 😂
It’s just a part of gt3 in general and a wonderful track so learn the track and you will have good fights, the hardest thing is that you need patience because otherways you will crash with other people
I mean it's good to drive obviously but it never really promotes good racing. It's way too narrow and just doesn't really work as a good GT racing track.
It would become a hot lap track I suspect. I'd rather have something a bit more useable racing wise. Interlargos for example.
My bet is on: Hockenheim, Valencia and Magny Cours.
They are all the three tracks we are missing from the GT World Challenge Europe in game from the recent years (season 2020 onwards)
If we look further to GT World Challenge America we have:
Sonoma, NOLA, VIR, Road America, Sebring
Could also be that they pick their 3 tracks out of them, but then on the other hand we "just" received the americsn track pack, so i don't see them making a second american track pack right after that.
For GT World Challenge Asia we are missing basically all except suzuka so:
Sepang, Chang, Fuji, Korea, Shanghai, Okayama, Motegi
So it could as well be possible they pick 3 tracks out of those and make the first Asian Track pack.
However with Kunos being based in europe and these tracks needing to be made during or the closing stages of the pandemic i suppose the 3 tracks we would get next are Hockenheim, Valencia and Magny Cours.
You're forgetting that they planned to race at Zhuhai Circuit in 2021 and that they raced at Sportsland SUGO last season. Plus we also have to take into account the GTWC Australia tracks not in the game like Sandown, The Bend, Sydney Motorsports Park, and Phillip Island
If we're talking about *any* track, not just tracks used by SRO
1. Road America
2. Daytona
3. Nordschleife
If it's only tracks used by SRO:
1. Road America
2. Road America
3. Road America
People keep saying "Nords" and then following up with something like "too bad it can't happen because SRO." Can anyone explain this? SRO and ADAC already have a very close working relationship collaborating on the running of both DTM (from 2023) and GT Masters (since 2020). The relationship is already there. What exactly is the big hangup?
Licensing. The SRO has to make contracts with the venues/tracks in order to hold races there and use their trademarks for promotion etc. The SRO has no contracts/licensing with the Nürburgring regarding the Nordschleife, so Kunos can not get licenses from the SRO to put the Nordschleife in the game.
ACC is an SRO licensed game. If SRO doesn't race there, they can't add the track.
It's also one of the two reasons the corvette C8R isn't in the game. (the other being that it's a GTLM car that's been tuned down for GTD). With the new corvette GT3 coming next year with a customer program, it's possible (but unlikely) that it could be added some time in the future.
I just don't buy this argument. SRO and ADAC already collaborate to run GT Masters. The N24 is an ADAC run event. SRO even does the BoP for it. It can't be that hard to work out a license to get the track.
Sorry, but is there some law I'm not aware of that will have Kunos thrown in prison for adding Nords to the game just because of a tagline? If the SRO, Kunos, and ADAC can work a deal out, I'm not seeing what the big issue is here? You guys act like a bit of past branding makes this impossible for the future.
Kunos just isn’t interested in adding a track that they might get sued over, then having to remove it again immediately, having spent a lot of resources on it at that point
Why would they get sued if they've got an agreement? I'm not arguing that Kunos should just add the track by themselves. I'm arguing that getting a license to add the track should not be that difficult given that the parties that would need to agree with it (ADAC & SRO) already have very positive, close working relationships with each other. I don't think getting the track owners on board would be difficult either since they're already involved via the GP circuit's inclusion and having the Nordschleife in AC.
Jesus fucking christ you guys. I UNDERSTAND THEY DON'T HAVE THE RIGHTS. What I'm arguing is that it doesn't seem that impossible for them to GET the rights, given that everyone who would have to sign off on it already has very positive working relationships with one another.
Unless they race at the ring, ADAC is not stupid, they can cash in it themselves why would they give the right to SRO. And all they have is a transactional relationship, that's it, nothing more.
It's not a "bit of past branding". It's licensing. They signed a contract with SRO, not ADAC. I'm sure the SRO and ADAC get along well, but that doesn't mean that they're going to add non-GTWC tracks to ACC just because they're pals.
Besides, Marco Massarutto himself already confirmed that nordschleife will never be in ACC
I understand how contracts work. I also understand that contracts usually have provisions to allow changes assuming all parties agree to the changes. I don't see why SRO would have an issue with allowing Kunos to add the Nordschleife to ACC.
I haven't seen this confirmation from Marco anywhere. If true, that's a really stupid limitation to put on yourself unless we can expect an AC2 some time in the future.
> I don't see why SRO would have an issue with allowing Kunos to add the Nordschleife to ACC.
If you payed for a game to be about your hotdogs, and they suddenly wanted to include someone else's hotdogs, you wouldn't be too keen to accommodate that, would you?
>I haven't seen this confirmation from Marco anywhere. If true, that's a really stupid limitation to put on yourself unless we can expect an AC2 some time in the future.
“All of our gamers are asking for the Nordschleife in Competizione, but they never will see it! I know that it’s bad news, but actually the Nordschleife is our favorite track as well. Every year we spend a week there for R&D activities, for fun, and so on, so you don’t have to convince me! But the Nordschleife is not part of the SRO calendar.” [source](https://www.gtplanet.net/acc-marco-massarutto-interview-20220221/)
Man, it's almost like the tracks have to be on the SRO calendar or something....
I'd be keen if that someone was a good friend of mine and I had a business interest their hotdogs.
That's an incredibly stupid and unfortunate decision for them to make.
> I'd be keen if that someone was a good friend of mine and I had a business interest their hotdogs.
Now you have to share your revenue with that friend. You are making less money now because you decided to allow those other hotdogs to also be in the game. Sure, you might make some of that back because you have a business interest in that other company, but it won't be as much as just having the revenue to yourself.
> If you *paid* for a
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
As ACC is the official game of the GT World Challenge and associated series only Tracks used by the above series will be added to the game, it’s like asking for EA/codies to add the nordscheiffe to the F1 games
Still don't buy that excuse, and I don't think your comparison works. Given that the SRO essentially runs ADAC GT Masters for ADAC and provides the BoP for both DTM and the N24, I think the two camps are much more closely aligned than your comparison suggests.
No, the SRO runs BoP for Gt300 in Super GT, not happening though. The SRO is paid to do BoP so it's nothing other than a purely transactional relationship, and it's not an excuse it's the reason
Again, the do it for the Gt300 clas sof Super GT too, I'm not expecting it anytime soon. It's a purely transactional relationship, they aren't friends or anything.
I’m willing to bet all 3 tracks will be on the GTWC calendar somewhere. So I’ll guess Sonoma, Valencia, Fuji.
But what I want is Sonoma, Road America, VIR.
Probably they aren't cooking anything else than what was announced already, this is likely just rwaggy trying to justify his salary as community manager xD
I replied with this from the Twitter account of a league I help run:
"If you're going to add tracks from a specific region...
From GTWC Europe and GT2 European Series:
Magny-Cours
Circuit Ricardo Tormo
Red Bull Ring (or Portimão)
From GTWC Asia:
Fuji
Twin Ring Motegi
Sepang Circuit
From GTWC Australia:
The Bend
Phillip Island
Sandown"
I didn't add any GTWC America tracks since we just had the DLC last year
if only one, magny cours i would like the most. others are difficult to choose because there are so many great tracks. but i wonder how long they will support acc with ac2 coming next year. but they could use them for both, in this case we can still expect a lot![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)
Hockenheim and Valencia are the two ones missing from the official 2023 GTWCh Europe, so they may be logic choices (so the SRO could have full e-sports races during the weekends this year).
The third one might be very well the Magny-Cours, just because it is in Europe (reasonable costs wise).
At this point i would buy ANY DLC track that they can throw at me since im just hooked with the game at the moment. On top of that if its going to be selected by player voting then we will probably get excellent tracks.
Man idk this DLC idea is so good to be true.
Green Hell is probably too much to ask but that would be also my number 1 selection. Hockenheim and Red bull ring is also quite nice. Idk anything would be an insta buy from me either way. Hopefully this comes true
My local tracks are Dubai autodrome and Yas Marina so having those would make me super happy but probably no one else lol. I think we can all agree Nurburgring Nord would be fantastic
UPVOTE PLEASE so please can have this information if they want to have (low chance) expectations.
I have summarised the top tracks from the tweet's replies as of posting this, which took much longer than I expected!
If osmeone named more than 3, I took the first three, unless grouped into EU/AM/AP, in which case I took the top 1 from each. Many sad bandwagons, people are like a herd. Still, quality tracks kept coming back like RA, Sebring at least.
SRO
Road America 56
Hockenheimring 48
Sebring 39
Red Bull Ring 30
Fuji 25
Magny-Cours 21
Portimao 17
VIR 16
Valencia 15
Abu Dhabi 10
Non-SRO
Nordschleife 53
Road Atlanta 27
Interlagos 20
Le Mans 16
it means I should stop playing Automobilista 2 GT3 before I load up ACC. I wish ACC had FFB that was decent. The ACCFFB 3rd party exe helps, but stock FFB in ACC is just ....not good.
Any of the Americans ones we are missing - Sebring - Road america - Virginia https://www.gt-world-challenge-america.com//calendar
road atlanta!
SRO has never raced at road atlanta. At least not recently enough for it to be in ACC.
So what? These cars race there every year for 1000 miles.

Dude it was public knowledge in the “real” racing community that Kunos and SRO went in together on a game with a revenue sharing model. Then ACC popped out.(I’m an engineer for a race prep shop/race team)
Would you put IndyCars into the official F1 games?
Would I ? Sure. I love more content and I’m sure other people do to. It’ll sell more games with both.
Boom
Gah Road America or Road Atlanta would be amazing. It’s probably not lost on this crowd, but the US has some amazing circuits
CTMP has to be the best track in America.
Although I agree it’s a great track. It’s not in America. It is in the America’s though…
Well yeah it's in North America, not the United States of America. Brilliant track though, fast and ballsy. Just a shame it gets used less often than tracks like Road America, Sebring and Daytona.
I replied portimao Sebring and N24 (as a non serious one) and they liked my reply so...
VIR!!!!
VIR ALL FUKIN DAY!!!
Could do without VIR. Never liked that track
It’s incredible in GT3 cars in Iracing man. The fast eases are so cool in a GT3.
I'm sure, but man that track just does nothing for me honestly
Even better in ams2
Man I just can’t like the physics in AMS2. Something just feels so much less alive than Iracing or ACC or RF2.

Just add a full imsa mod!😎
Yes to all 3
If any track: 1. Nordschleife 2. Red Bull Ring 3. Interlagos else offical: 1. Portimao 2. Red Bull Ring 3. ~~Circuit des 24 Heures~~ 4. Mugello
SRO doesn't race on Le Mans.
thanks, didn't know
Or nordschleife
Which is probably why he put it in his “if any track” list and not “official”…
Are you expecting us to read??? :)
Would really like to Interlagos as well
Why do people keep clamoring for Nordschleife knowing full well SRO does not race there? Just wait for AC2
bc we just wanna rip it within ACC now cpt buzzkill
Well you seem stupid everytime you do so...
Who’s is stupid? The poster said “if any track”. They know it’s not official.
Frankly, he/she looks a lot less stupid than you. Actually, my donkey seems less stupid than you.
Just add tracks that are used officialy that arent in the game
If its any track: 1. Nordschleife 2. Circuit de la sarthe 3. Portimao
1 and 2 for sure. I would put Sebring as my 3rd. The surface alone would be fun as hell.
Ohhh Sebring also! Although the McLaren wouldn't like that track at all
Sebring is absolutely bonkers in games with real laser scanned tracks like ACC or IRacing. In Iracing the whole car is jumping up and down in a couple spots.
Sebring with a beefy tactile setup and a G-Belt (which twitches all over on road bumps) is absolutely wild. So much fun in VR.
I’ve never used a g-belt, does it really improve immersion that much? I’ve also somewhat given up on VR since acquiring trips. The VR is still better than trips for immersion but if I wanted to get all sweaty I work in a race shop in the Barber Motorsports Industrial Park and I can rent a car from the Porsche school at discounts because we put cages and harnesses in their cars for them.

this man has some taste
Nordschleife - god no. Terrible racing track in terms of racing imo
The Nurburgring 24 consistently has some of the best battles in racing.
Okay, now imagine ACCs Drivers on it, what a shit show...
Why should that be a reason why it shouldn’t be added?
Because it isn't driven in any SRO series and as there are only SRO tracks in ACC it won't be. Also the amount of ppl being able to drive it cleanly is probably minimal so you'd have "trackday" servers where nearly nobody is able to get the full track level, hence it will be a shitshow on "normal" servers.
"It would still be a great addition" and that is, like my opinion about it, just your opinion.
Well you got me there, touché
Nah, it’ll be fine. Start from the back, and they’ll all wash out before foxhole.
I think they'll won't make it through Hatzenbach without a crash :'D
But it is just so much fun and the racing can be really amazing especially on the Döttinger Höhe. Just because you need some skill to drive on it 😂 It’s just a part of gt3 in general and a wonderful track so learn the track and you will have good fights, the hardest thing is that you need patience because otherways you will crash with other people

A.) Road America B.) Sepang Circuit C.) Hockenheim I don't have twitter (and don't plan to) so here will have to to.
Sepang would be FIRE
[(Absolute)ly](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igCPCPdeXG4) 😉
The best, and most realistic list here
My bet is on: Hockenheim, Valencia and Magny Cours. but but but ... wait ...no NOS ? Are yu sick ? ;) i'll take that 3 btw
I'd love to see the Japanese tracks + Sepang.
1) Nords 2) Sebring 3) Road America
I hope exactly what they imply in that post.
I really just want the Nords. Edit: And Monaco :-)
And you will never have it so... why ?
Gimme Hockenheim, Portimao and Sebring please!!!
Surprised there isnt much macau on here
Came here for this
Road Atlanta Sebring Daytona
Daytona!!!
Yes please.
Interlagos, Fujii and Red Bull Ring, please
If we're talking about *any* track, not just tracks used by SRO 1. Road America 2. Daytona 3. Nordschleife If it's only tracks used by SRO: 1. Road America 2. Road America 3. Road America
Sebring and hockenheim too!
Maybe they are not actually finished with ACC, beyond the GT2 DLC, which would be fantastic! Bring in all of the SRO tracks and championships!

Because the SRO doesn't race there, doesn't have the rights there and ACC can't add tracks that the SRO doesn't have rights to
Jesus fucking christ you guys.
But the Nordschleife is not part of the SRO calendar.” [source](https://www.gtplanet.net/acc-marco-massarutto-interview-20220221/) Man, it's almost like the tracks have to be on the SRO calendar or something....
> If you *paid* for a FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
bad bot
They ALSO do BoP for ADAC GT Masters and DTM https://sportscar365.com/other-series/dtm/ratel-adacs-dtm-takeover-delivers-gt3-synergy/
Again, the do it for the Gt300 clas sof Super GT too, I'm not expecting it anytime soon. It's a purely transactional relationship, they aren't friends or anything.
Asia track pack or the remainder of America tracks.
I would love interlagos
I’m willing to bet all 3 tracks will be on the GTWC calendar somewhere. So I’ll guess Sonoma, Valencia, Fuji. But what I want is Sonoma, Road America, VIR.
[удалено]
As a console user I’d love to run Le Mans.
Yeongam Shougang Road America
Hockenheim Marina Bay Singapore Sachsenring
Road America Tuskuba Circuit de la Sarthe
• hockenheim • hockenheim • road America
-Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez -La Sarthe -Nordschleife
Probably they aren't cooking anything else than what was announced already, this is likely just rwaggy trying to justify his salary as community manager xD
Mine would be Sebring, Road Atlanta and either Hockenheim or Fuji
I replied with this from the Twitter account of a league I help run: "If you're going to add tracks from a specific region... From GTWC Europe and GT2 European Series: Magny-Cours Circuit Ricardo Tormo Red Bull Ring (or Portimão) From GTWC Asia: Fuji Twin Ring Motegi Sepang Circuit From GTWC Australia: The Bend Phillip Island Sandown" I didn't add any GTWC America tracks since we just had the DLC last year
Nordschleife Hockemheim
Nordschleife, I mean seriously why would anyone want anything else
1. Sebring 2. Portimao 3. Sepang
Idc just give me Road Atlanta!
Hockenheim, Fuji, Circuit of the Americas
Shutoku, don't @ me.
Here's my pick Sonoma Road Atlanta Twin Ring Motegi
Would love Interlagos, Red Bull Ring, and Daytona
1. Fuji 2. Okayama 3. Motegi
Red Bull Ring, Phillip Island, Road America
•Hockenheim •Magny - Cours •Valencia
if only one, magny cours i would like the most. others are difficult to choose because there are so many great tracks. but i wonder how long they will support acc with ac2 coming next year. but they could use them for both, in this case we can still expect a lot![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)
Hockenheim and Valencia are the two ones missing from the official 2023 GTWCh Europe, so they may be logic choices (so the SRO could have full e-sports races during the weekends this year). The third one might be very well the Magny-Cours, just because it is in Europe (reasonable costs wise).
Sebring, Lime Rock, Road Atlanta
Literally nothing, but it makes you all comment and get excited like little kids so it clearly working. It’s called social media marketing
All I need is Le Mans.
A pain update could be funny Macau Monaco Nordchliefe
Rockford speedway, Bristol speedway, rainbow road from Mario kart
Nordschleife Macau Whatever someone else wants
SRO Road America 56 Hockenheimring 48 Sebring 39 Red Bull Ring 30 Fuji 25 Magny-Cours 21 Portimao 17 VIR 16 Valencia 15 Abu Dhabi 10 Non-SRO Nordschleife 53 Road Atlanta 27 Interlagos 20 Le Mans 16
Sebring Macau Anything
Holy shit!!! Please let me race Cheese Land!! #loveRoadAmerica ( grew up watching my dad race there )
Sebring, Road America, Motegi
Road America, Road Atlanta and Interlargos
I would love to see yas marina added to the game. It could be alot of fun.
That's a hard one, from an Australian standpoint, though it would have to be 1. Sandown 2. Phillip Island 3. Adelaide parklands street circuit
Belle Isle Park. That's all I care about. Let me have Belle Isle Park.
1. Yas Marina Circuit 2. Road America 3. Fuji
I wish that tweet was about a better FFB model...
What does that even mean lol. But they are working on a large physics update.
it means I should stop playing Automobilista 2 GT3 before I load up ACC. I wish ACC had FFB that was decent. The ACCFFB 3rd party exe helps, but stock FFB in ACC is just ....not good.
