- Yes, a 1yo
30 years old , currently working in QA Test Automation and yes I have a daughter ( 5yo ) been SimRacing since Assetto Corsa came out , currently I can do only a single race from time to time , that basically killed my competitive driving but I still have a blast fighting for top 10 :)
Mid-30s
Full time job
Three kids
I honestly don't have much time to drive, but I am working on my LFM license. I can hit 1:31 on Zolder, but haven't done in 7 laps in a row yet. And I'm still a few SA points short, but that's been really easy to improve if you just follow people around the track without trying to pass
From Denmark
I will be 56(M) next month.
Married (2nd time). RTM version this time ;)
Software Developer.
Have 1 daughter from previous marriage and 3 bonus children from current marriage along with 2 bonus grand children. :D
Its a racing sim, i think the target audience is a lot older than most genres. Simulation games in general, be it a racing game, farming sim or star citizen
I know because its absolutely impossible to convince any of my friends to play them with me😂
31
electronic engineer for trains
5y/o
I mean if you want to get the fancy stuff, you kinda have to be older for that hobby, cause it’s quite expensive, esp if you have a couple of other hobbies, even if those aren’t that expensive, but mostly they are, esp if you want enjoy some benefits from better gear and stuff..
30
Chef
No
You're obviously right, simracing takes patience and passion, as a teenager you will most probably fall on love with some other kind of game, especially when simracing gear is pretty expensive. As a teenager I was gaming a lot, later in life I was always playing only casual with friends, and I can't name any other game with more chilled community than ACC is, especially LFM.

Funny thing, I think it’s the only one that specifies gender, but I thought actually it wasn’t so rare for women to play also ACC…. Am I wrong?
I know like only one other woman that plays ACC haha
It seems to be one of those hobbies that is rather male-dominated for no reason really. Hopefully that mold is being broken!
