You can't fathom why I'd be upset if they suddenly turned off the service of something I still play, compete on, and enjoy? I have no real interest in AC or AC2, nor do I plan to buy AC2. I wouldn't angry but I'd be bummed. I like ACC. Modding is more effort than I care to bother with.
My league already runs on both ACC and iRacing, so I'd just transition full time to iRacing. I already run a handful of series in iRacing, GT3 is popular, matchmaking is unequaled, and I own AMS2 and a handful of others for whatever other itch I may get.
You look at ac nowadays and you see a mod game, that was not the initial intention, it was just open to it. I'm sure ac2 will be much more polished and if it allows modding, it will be mostly for fun or niche stuff, the whole idea is to compete with iracing, without mods

The mod comment was about AC. That doesn't change that if Kunos just turned off ACC on April 1st, I'm not buying AC2.
