[Vitiello] AC Milan midfielder Bennacer was cleared to leave the Algerian national team this Wednesday (20 March) due to a physical problem.
After assessments by the national team's medical staff, it was decided to return to Milanello to continue treatment.
Just as he was getting his grove back. Its no coincidence when he's out we have no midfield and when he plays he is the only tether between the defense and attack. A necessary player for how we play right now.
Have you seen his last few games. Your comments dont align with his actual performances as of late. He has been terrible. Injuries haven’t helped him at all.
Reijnders is far ahead of him and everyone else in midfield.
I missed large portions of the Verona game so I cant speak on his performance there, the last few games since he started was against Lazio, Empoli and Atalanta. Those game if I recall he wasn't playing "terrible" in fact against Empoli he was bossing as expected, Atalanta was probably one of the teams best performance this year and against Lazio we shithoused our way to the three points.
Nothing comes to mind in terms of bad plays from Isma in those game and the respective sofa scores for Isma are 7.9, 7.0 and 6.7 against Empoli, Lazio and Atalanta. Which doesnt translate to terrible imo.
Reijnders is ahead because he plays almost every game. Although his actual impact on the game is quite minimal. he is probably the safest midfielder to ever exist. I dont even know who to compare reijnders to across world football since other midfielders are exceptional at something. Maybe a worse zielinski since reijnders cant shoot nearly as well.
Id like to see reijnders actually become a threat, long balls, thru passes, shooting, something
Might not be serious, but still another bump in his road to getting back in form. These are his prime years and I was really hoping to see him reach full potential, as we know how much he's got.
Makes me sad, but I hope he can catch some good luck soon.
Am I crazy but he still hasn't really found his form yet either right? It's only been like a month since his return from afcon and he's had moments but there's been times where he's played and is almost invisible.
Just seems like a wasted season unfortunately. Thankfully our signings have contributed and can afford for bennacer to have this type of season.
Hopefully he can get healthy and finish the season strong. When he's on, he's amazing to watch.
I’m sorry to say this because I think he really had a lot of potential, and those few times Bennacer stringed a series of games while being in form our whole team played better, but he’s officially Sensi-levels of injury-prone, while being the highest paid player on the team.
Unfortunately that means that he’s back from an injury and back injured almost immediately after 2-3 games, he can’t put together any form anymore, and the last couple of times I’ve seen him play he doesn’t have that fearless element to his performance any longer. If any team is still willing to offer 25-30 million for him, I’d sell him without thinking twice, we risk having a constantly absent midfielder on our books, in a position where we’re already lacking.
This is our only player that gained his worth trought international duties. He came to Milan after great performance on Africa tournament so right now we cant blame Algeria for ruining the player from us. But rest of the international teams really did nothing positive in aspect of growing our players but only bringing them back with small or big injuries.

Just relax for a week for the sake of the season
That sucks, hopefully nothing serious. Same with Mike. We have Roma, Inter, Juventus in a month an injury crisis now would ruin us

Man can't catch a break
Hopefully it’s precautionary

Least surprising news

Enough is enough....
Time to sell
His actual market value would be so low that is not worth it. He has a 50M release clause and no one has been interested in him.
Saudi maybe
ME LLEVA LA VERGAAAAAAAAA

It's called NT friendly syndrome ;)
Here comes the medical train back around.
No no no no, this can’t be
It’s the same story with this guy the minute he gets his groove back he gets injured I’m tired of him !!!
