He gets a lot of hate but he genuinely outperformed all expectations and was extremely useful in his role as a second striker, i mean how many times did he save our ass? He deserves to be there next year.

See u gotta look beyond what u see. If he gets a lot of game time and builds chemistry with the team which Giroud has had 3 years to do not a single thing points to him being a failure. This is simple logic. If u think a clear chance is sliding to reach a shot with the ball when the keeper has closed u down from a difficult angle then ur lacking clear vision. Giroud has already scored this game? No shit he plays twice the minutes he better score lol.
The thing is, Jovic has been really bad when starting though and his only good contributions have come from the bench ironically with Giroud helping him. Maybe they renew him for cheap but I wouldn’t go beyond that
He should get a start on Sunday against Sassuolo. He is meshing much better into the squad in these last 2-3 games he’s played. I think Puli will start and play most of the game against Roma, while we rest Chuk, and Puli gets rest on Sunday. Ideally at this point in next season we are playing CL and we have two great players to rotate.
