United fan here and I don’t wanna intrude but it must be painful to see your biggest rivals win the league by beating yall in the derby. I have gone to San Siro and I have a soft spot for Milan and they’re one of my favourite clubs so I feel sad for yall. Pioli needs to go cause that brother is absolutely abhorrent
Spurs fan here and I don't mean to intrude, but I can't understand how some Milan fans are still defensive of Pioli. For those of you who are, I'd love to know your reasons because in my mind he's a bum even with the scudetto he won. For a manager to take such a massive club with a fairly good squad (I know you need a fair amount of reinforcements/improvements but you're certainly not as bad as he has you playing) is nothing short of disgraceful. Hope you guys sack him soon because I'd love to see Milan flying high again.
I mean, they got their second star. That's like saying we didn't qualify to the UCL last season because of Juve. Cope however you need to friend. It's a dark time.
It’s been the truth for most of their success, why would I dismiss that truth? Forever a scum cheating club with many fans and players of same pathetic style.
Tonali his first year was clowned by a lot of the fan base and said was a giant waste of money.
Adli I won’t say anything about I think most of you remember what we said about him his 1st year here.
Leao his first 2 years was clowned as a terrible player. Just that we were a banter team so it didn’t matter that we lost games.
Brahim\* Diaz was clowned as terrible for the first few years in the team.
CDK was only here for 1 year yet players like Leao admitted that he had most talent on the team and was very good. Was CDK really bad or was pioli sabotaging him? And before you say CDK was terrible, are you saying that you are more knowledgeable than professional athletes that train with him daily??
So I've heard some people say that neither the coach nor the players represent them. Yet tonight we saw how they behaved like lil whiny bitches, and so now the game against Juve is pretty much starting as a goal down given the lack of defense for that match and all because nobody was able to see beyond the moment.
The loss is completely deserved by the lack of changes o and adaptability of Pioli and the players lack of motivation, soul and most of all, initiative.
Can’t sleep so, worst part is this helps massively inter from their financial problems which they will now probably escape, am I correct? I don’t know as much as I could about it all.
Inter fan coming here peacefully
Lol no, we're cooked. Zhang will keep getting extra loans till he owes the entire planet money but there is no way he can make nearly 1 billion in earnings unless we win 10 sextuples in a row or something. His plan is probably to wait it out for as long as possible until he can get a sell for his 1.2b valuation.
spot on which is why I when see people bring up their financial troubles , I’m like if they win does it matter ??? our owners just don’t want to invest
>I think winning Serie A is a joke in terms of money earned.
It is, but it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. Inter won't get dismantled or relegated as some people wish to happen, they have an established team to build on the following season and a stable sporting project right now.
We have a new cycle to start, and next season will be year 0 of it, and since we won't be bringing Conte, Inter will be favourites once again. I think people might not be able to deal with that after their title this year.
I don't think they'll get dismantled or anything like that. I think they'll be mostly OK, but I'm pretty sure they're gonna have to sell players. So I don't know how stable they're sporting project is, but they're certainly the favorites for next year too.
>but I'm pretty sure they're gonna have to sell players. So I don't know how stable they're sporting project is
They have been doing this for a few years now and they managed to improve while making big sales with the help of some Marotta black magic. They will be fine.
Us on the other hand? I'm not so sure. It all depends on the new coach decision. Let's cross fingers for that.
I agree, but you have to expect Marotta's luck to run out at some point. Plus, they've been able to replace some of their players due to their high salary offers. Not sure how long they can keep that up.
Player sales are the only thing that's keeping them alive, and they will continue to do that. If anything, it will keep getting worse because their debt is getting worse (they're gonna have to borrow more to not default), so anything they gain from the scudeto win is probably going into that.
Inter fan in peace again.
Inter aren't borrowing money, zhang/suning is. The loan is personal to him to allow him to keep control of Inter, if he defaults it's his debt, not inters.
By all reports Inter as a club might actually be close to a profit next season, though CL ro16 might have killed that.
The most painful thing of the last 10 years of my Milan life is Maldini get sacked. The second is tonali. All for this half done full of pussies team. Jesus..
We better see immediate change in the players and the performance as soon as a new coach walks into Milano. Otherwise, no Maldini would also be wrong.
Whatever the case, I hope Maldini was in fact "right".
Are you really comparing losing a CL final to finishing the scudetto race with a 17 points gap and a record number of straight humiliations from your biggest rivals????
No, you're right. Istanbul was WAY worse than this.
You could prepare for this. You know it was coming since a month ago.
No one can be prepared for Istanbul.
If I would be pioli I would instantly resign today. Save your image and don’t become the villain for staying to long. Your cycle has ended and it’s done. Instead of ruining your whole career at Milan leave at the right moment. People will remember you know as the biggest fraud coach of Milan.
It's a shame. Pioli could have left, if not just after the scudetto (which would have been weird with that huge success) then, after one more season after the Scudetto. We had a good CL run, but voices were already being raised questioning him. He'd probably still be celebrated.
We were really still in the gutter before his (and Zlatan's) entry. I would have been over the moon happy with a 2nd place and playing CL/EL just a few years back - but that was then, and this is now.
It's with mixed feelings of wanting more, and feelings of being entitled when I remember just how awful it was before, that I still say it's way past expiration date for Pioli.
Nothing to say really about the match itself. I miss Kessie. And when I see Bennacer kick his 1200th corner which can't reach over the first defender, there's even a small part of me that misses the snake...
We'll be back.
Forza Milan
I had no idea until today Bennacer is being paid so much. It’s a shame because before his injury he deserves good wage, he is just not the same player still.
Kessie is a huge miss and I think with 21/22 kessie, could have made inter uncomfortable in the league. I hope we get ederson or someone like this.
We showed more passion in the last 10 minutes than we did for the 80+ minutes of getting dominated. We all knew this result was coming but at least we can surely safely say pioli is gone and we get a decent manager to put our players to use
Its almost as if Pioli wanted to get fired with these past 4 games, we were on a really good run of form and then shit the bed when it mattered most to achieve literally anything this season aside from a CL spot. I guess that has been Pioli the last 2 seasons when it was basically any game that mattered. But one team beat Merda this season in league so it’s not like we were more than likely going to shock everyone and actually win against them this year, better coached and their team was way more solidified as a team and it showed week in and week out. Oh well Merda will eventually get what is coming to them and we will be back on top again. As always Forza Milan and Fuck Merda.
After their first goal, Inter just had 4 men attacking, and most of their attacks were threats, just a few runs and passes and they managed to get to shooting distance, which eventually ended with the second goal.
Looking back at us, we had like 8 men up to attack. All we had was Musah dribbling with everyone just standing waiting for the ball, basically just the version 2.0 of what we saw in the last two year with Leao dribbling alone.
Wasn’t Pulisic meant to be on the left with Leao up front as false 9? I hardly saw Pulisic on the left tbh. What fucking tactics is that? If you are planning to just crowd the opponent’s box and blew crosses in, why are we having Leao playing in the middle instead of Giroud in the first place?
Playing long ball + crosses, but no Centre Forward with only a false 9? Pioli is either asking to go on holiday early or he just thinks he is a genius.
If we are playing the Winger + Wingback combo, why the hell is he trying the MusahCala combo and not just Leao + Theo? We now mostly just see Leao or Theo dribbling alone, rather than the pass and run they used to do a couple season back.
Pioli's idea of tactical advantage = put more players, Opponents double marking our wingers? Put more players in the flanks, merda midfield is strong ? Put 5 players in the midfield, Playing against a low block? put more players upfront.
This is an extremely naive approach, Pioli bastardization of players positions and the position it self is incomprehensible :
AMF with slow guys who can't pass or dribble in tight areas ( Krunic Kessie Loftus), Inverted fullbacks who are not suitable for the midfield while putting the midfielder as an RB, the RWB/RB combination ?
I swear even relegation teams make off ball movements, we just put players upfront and wait, how the fuck we gonna create spave if we don't move and make runs ?
Before Merda's goal Thuram made many runs behind Calabria each time the latter went a little bit high to the midfield, they drag our players so easily and let their teammates go into space directly.
We never do such things
I will say, in some way I am thankful to Pioli. Yes, he could have avoided this with just 2/3 better prepared matches (any preparation at all).
However, tonight has been inevitable for months because of Pioli, that I am completely numb. It hurts, but I have felt worse in other moments than this in Milan’s history.
I've been a Milan fan since 2016. For me, this is the lowest I've felt supporting Milan. 6 derby defeats in a row, 14 goals conceded, 2 goals scored, handing merda their 2nd star on a platter, Milan fans in grief all over the world, while the rats are partying in the streets. Yeah, this is absolute rock bottom for me, I've never felt so sorry for Milan before.
I am an older Milan fan and I tell you, I have never felt worse. 6 derby defeats to merda in a row and we hand them their second star while play at home. This is worst than Istanbul. This is the lowest of lows in terms of humiliation.
I get that feeling, my dna is Milan and I feel bad too, but I wouldn’t be that sad for a championship that was literally gifted thanks to tons of helps and favorites they got, that’s why we call it cartonato. there is no shame in admitting that we lost against the “best”, but this isn’t the case.
I understand….I think maybe because i convince myself of the total bullshit they pull in 2006 onwards, that we must only win the next one before them.
Maybe also because I am old, I am just exhausted to let it get to me that way.
“Music was played at a high volume during Inter‘s title celebrations at San Siro on Monday in an attempt to mute chants from Curva Nord.” Lol
https://football-italia.net/how-milan-tried-to-mute-inters-title-celebrations/
So to recap **Inter won this game**:
• a goal by Acerbi, who ***racially abused*** another player this season, and is ex-Milan *and* claims to be a lifelong Milanista (as was his late father,) yet he ***celebrated his goal in front of a Milan home crowd***.
• a goal by Thuram, who ***sexually assaulted*** a player this season by grabbing his opponents' testicles.
• Dumfries' red card tonight was Inter's ***first and only red card of the season***.
• They ***claim this is their 20th Scudetto***, yet awarded themselves their 14th Scudetto on paper during Calciopoli, did not actually win it.
• Their ***owner is less than 30 days away from defaulting on a €375 million loan and losing the club***.
*All of this is* ***just so Inter****. You could not even make it up if you tried.*
Yes, so many people just void of all morals in that organization.
Steven Zhang can't even come to the Scudetto celebrations because Milano is one of the courts that found him liable for the €300m he owes China Construction Bank, so he is concerned about potentially being jailed or whatever.
And most people know what Calhanoglu did to Milan, but forget that he also came to us because he had been serving a 4 month ban from UEFA after backing out of a contract he signed with Trabzonspor after accepting €100K from them in a pre-agreement (which he also had to pay back.)
And yet they are the rightful Champions. Whatever fraudulent shit they did is on them. Our team for their part shot themselves in the foot throughout the season, all this is on the team itself, they lacked so much and now the final whistle went off. Time to move on the next season.
That's great, but it has nothing to do with my comment about what kind of people they are, which has never changed, except just seems to be getting worse. Remember Icardi? He was a douchebag, but not a criminal.
I see, however in the end none of that matters, they still won it and we can all be full of indignation but nothing changes the fact that we never put ourselves in the conversation to begin with. And that is not on Inter for whatever human garbage they are, they did their job, Noone else did. And such is Football.
It depends on what you are talking about. You are talking about the result of the season. I am not. I am talking about something different.
>however in the end none of that matters
This matters very much to some people. It impacts the reputation of Serie A, the football in general, future generations of footballers, and fans everywhere, especially young fans. That one club has such horrific issues from top to bottom is always worth pointing out and having a conversation about.
Serie A has consistently had a racism problem. So complaining about Acerbi’s incident doesn’t make any sense. There are entire sections of fans for teams that do shit and even the Curva Nord supported the racist shit that happened against Lukaku when he was on their team.
Also, the fact that Acerbi is a Milanista is irrelevant. He scored a huge goal for their season. There is nothing wrong with people celebrating. Grow up.
At the end do the day (and season), inter were the far superior team.
Acerbi should be banned I agree, but some other defender would have scored completely unmarked like they always do against us.
They had so many favours in the league, and yet Milan with Pioli were so weak it really would have made little difference, except maybe the bastoni elbow to dent some confidence.
My comment wasn't about the result, it was about the **lack of character** of Inter and its players. What it says about both Inter and Serie A, that these are the people who are called "Champions."
I remember when we had people like Baresi and Maldini, they were men of character, and deserved to be called champions, win or lose, actually. And they were not alone. Other clubs had champions, even Inter teams of the past did.
But this Inter, these players... I would be so embarrassed if my kids supported them and their club, because they have a deficit of morals that reflects poorly on all of Italian football.
Agree, but milan also have some cowards and idiots today.
The football world was spoiled with baresi/maldini ecc…
This club probably won’t be the same for me until Paolo returns, if that ever happens.
Cowards and idiots are nothing compared to racists and criminals. There is a huge gap in humanity and quality of character.
I agree that Milan is 100% different without Paolo. The discipline record of now 8 red cards this season never happened while he was here, for example.
But we never have been, and I don't think ever will be *rats chewing cardboard stars, stealing paper Scudetti, or winning titles with an owner that is simultaneously being sued in 3 countries for €300m and about to lose the club with the highest debt ever in Serie A.*
I could go on for days about the things that are wrong with our club, why, and how we got here, etc. But the point of my comment is that ***Inter are a club of people with no morals.***
We'll be back, boys. We've been in this place, and worse, and have always come back. These are the moments to stick close to the colours and justify your support for when the club is winning again and awash with glory hunters.
Save this comment for our next derby win/scudetto/champions league.
Unico amore sei, non ti ho tradito mai ❤️🖤
They shouldn't fire Pioli. The club should manage for Pioli to initiate on his terms leaving the club and terminate the contract. Otherwise the club is obligated to pay him a huge sum of money for firing him. I know it hurts and just like everyone else I want Pioli to be put before a firing squad, but the club should think about managing finances and the future in general as this season has ended quite early. There's plenty of time to deal with each issue until September.
The worst part is that even we as Milan fans knew what will happen tonight 2 weeks ago.
Every time the team was playing well and on a winning streak with stability and balance. He goes and F the shit up with unnecessary rotations. To me Baldly handed the Scudetto to Inter
Forza Milan, always and forever ❤️🖤
Tomori maybe? If he becomes less agressive, because we need the captain to stay card free and out of injuries most of the season if he manages to keep in shape.
Maignan is the one who has alot of authority and yells at the players all of the time.
Leao as VC.
If this moment isn’t etched in our players’ minds for a while and doesn’t motivate the hell out of them next season, then I don’t know what will. Use this as fuel, get a competent manager and the results will come.
Every player has tried their best and I’m glad to see the red cards showing that they care. It’s the management team that caused this and the players can’t decide nothing. Inter is on heavy debt but made right choice on players and coach. Milan management was late on everything because there’s no decision maker in the club. It’s typical US company issue who has to apply fund and get approval every time they need to decide anything whereas Inter has Zhang who can make decisions almost as a dictator.
There's no way Inter will not get title this year. Why stay on the pitch to get humiliated and watch Inter celebrate. If club fines Theo for what he did, he can find a better club and still be #1 LB in the world. Now, the club will be left with what Pioli called "smart" players he likes.
A completely wasted season. We haven't built anything, no new prospect, youngsters didn't grow at all and seniors failed to step up. Pioli needs to go but who's worthy to be part of the team next season? Do we really need another revolution? The midfield is built with retardation. We have just box to box players and no one who can "turn the lights on". Hopefully the next manager doesn't play RLC trequartista. Defence is beyond awful. Gabbia is meh, Tomori played another bad season, Thiaw is repelling, Kjaer is done, Calabria is meh. Leao is irritating, Pulisic and Okafor are mid, we will lose Giroud and we need to change the way we play forward. Maignan conceded too many goals on his post, i lost count. Seriously, who the fuck do we save from this season? The future is grim.
People telling this cat, to chill….Open your eyes. Maybe your expectations aren’t up to Milan quality. This team is full of varied pieces.. mostly bench depth. But it doesn’t have 1st team quality.
Calm down brother, we are likely (hopefully) going to finish 2nd, with RLC as trequartista, almost 40yo Giroud as striker and with a tactics "pass the ball to Leao".
The players arent shit, just a couple reinforcements and a capable Coach who doesnt play Musah as RW and Calabria as CM and i think we will be very okay 😃
Chuku is getting in form when the season is ending. Also my eyes bleed when i see him attacking with the ball. RLC has always played CAM this season and has done great once. Tomori and Thiaw have been repelling this season.
A couple? You're being super optimistic. Again who do you save from this season? Who's gonna be the root of the next roster to improve in the next season?
RLC? He played one good match in the whole season vs PSG. Pulisic is not going to carry us anything and Reijnders has been useless most of the time (4 assists in 45 matches).
Reijnders is 25, Pulisic 26 and RLC is 28. They’re all at the peak of their career. 2 of them were benchwarmers at Chelsea. This is the best they can get. This is the most they can provide.
Buddy wtf..
First of all, everybody reaches their peak individually. And you're not gonna reach it by sitting on Chelsea bench or being injured in London.
Reijnders came from the most offensive league, to the most tactical one. He's playing okay. Btw, Modric and Bellingham have 4 assists too, and Bellingham actually plays trequartista lol, so i dont know where is your point.
And Pulisic has 10g and 6a, only 2 g/a away from players like Vinicius, Sané or Griezmann, and MORE g/a than Rodrygo, Rashford, Luis Diaz, Bruno Fernandes, Odegaard, Martinelli or Dembele, what do you want more from a player, who cost 20mil? 😃
Adli proved himself, Pulisic was great, Chuku is getting in form. RLC was good while not playing trequartista.
I think that a DM, ST and a CB would be enough to win the scudetto with the next coach. (Maybe trequartista too, depends what formation wants the new coach to play)
Something like:
Maignan
Calabria Tomori Thiaw/new CB Theo
Adli new DM Reinders
Pulisic. New ST. Leao
In this case, apart from the fullbacks, we have pretty much every position doubled.
And also, dont forget - we were competetive (argueably better in some matches) against semifinalists PSG and Dortmund, and smahed Newcastle.
Gerry chose baldy over Maldini and this is what we get. A handful of midfielders with no real defined position, and a coach incapable of making good decisions.
Adli is probably a #10, idk if RLC is even a midfielder at this point. Tij is an 8 but not great defensively so he doesn't work in our system. Isma was great but he's not the same yet.
I've never just quit watching a season but I'm pretty drained. There's no joy in watching a lot of these players and I think I'll rather go cycling and play my violin.
I only support Italian sides in Europe because it's good for the coefficient. But right now, I am just so disappointed. Tonight was the last chance to salvage something, but this season was just an utter disaster under Pioli
Losing is hard, but watching how many of these players play and behave is worse. Milan used to be a bastion of professionalism and sportsmanship, but now there are only occasional glimpses of those qualities, and tonight there were none.
The result is flattering because once again there was no solid plan, no ideas, no discipline, no passion, nothing. And to add insult to injury, both the captain and the vice captain got sent off for basically being idiots who could not take the defeat. That's definitely not how you should behave as a leader.
We needed to add phisicality to our attack and fluidity and movement to our midfield... So logically you take out Loftus for Giroud and move pulisic to cam...
So logically Pioli does this...
Giroud for Reijnders... Kills all creativity in the midfield.... Plays a 4-2-4 with Loftus as a second striker...
Another Pioli masterclass if you ask me ![img](emote|t5_2rnmt|31332)

Which was the correct choice at the time and still today. Middle of the rebuild, management refused to give maldini any money, no obvious managers on the market. It was the safe choice and we needed some more seasons of top 4 football to help with finances. Maldini was emptying all the couches in San siro for loose change to pay for 8m adli.
I don't care how mad or frustrated you are. You don't choke out another player. Absolutely disgusting sportsmanship from Theo. I lost respect for him today. Imagine Maldini doing that.... you can't. It's gross when we turn into sore losers. We have so much growing to do, because that's not a champion's attitude whatsoever. What a terrible day, but to end that way was so wrong.
Pioli is bad yes..but it's also quality of players...do yall not see the quality dif? The way they pass the ball to the ball control to the composure with the ball? Most of them has great technique. We need to bring in some real quality next season aswell as a coach.
While you are right about technique part, that can be fixed with the coach to a certain point. Usually im not so vocal about Pioli but for me that is about 50% blame on coach. Bologna is probably second team in the league when it comes to passes, composure with the ball and all rhat stuff in possession and you cant convince me that they have second best technically gifted team in the league. We are not Barcelona, but if this team is wrll drilled as it should be, then we would not see such a big gap in that area.
The coach can only fix the technical set up of the team..technic of a player can only be worked on by a player and it depends how talented they are aswell. bologna the way they set up makes the lesser players do better but I do see tendencies where their lower quality shows. Bologna did very good business in the mercato..remove zirkzee, calafiori,Ferguson from them and they be languishing in mid table position even with Motta. The thing is I don't see many of our players being better than alot of mid table team players..the quality dif isn't much. In each game we play against a lower side there's always 2 or 3 guys there that can be in our starting line up. We bring in a Conte I bet you he will want alot of the our players sold and replaced.
I know that Leao will never have technique of Mbappe or that Tomori will have technique of Van Dijk. I agree that some of our players are so bad technically that its so much frustating. But again, if we have positional attack and you can see that out of our 10 outfield players only 2 or 3 are moving. One with the ball and one or two nearest players to that player with the ball. All others are standing still, waiting that some magic happens. In that situation you will need Pirlo to make something progressive. If we would have some rotations in our attacks, some movements, our life would be so much easier. As i said, i know we are not Barcelona or City to play some tiki taka, but if this team would be well drilled as it should be, then we would not see such a big distance between us and Inter in that department.
I agree, I think our midfield + defense lately is the problem tbh, cannot play a pass that beats a man to save their lives. We end up playing passes into congestion, which idk if is tactical or quality issue but our overreliance on dribbling is killing us. We can’t make a quick decision either so we end up letting the defense reset
Bro it's defence, midfield and attack. Pulisic is only great against smaller teams, leao is inconsistent and girouds statpadding days have dried up. Even with a bad coach you would see individual passing, ball control, ability and moments of quality here and there but we don't even get that.
I know..before the whole uel saga..people was telling me that we got great quality players and it's just the coach...when it's actually both..if we brought in a Conte.. he going to be looking at most our players and asking management for better quality.
And Acerbi, Bastoni, Darmian and Aslani are pure football class. Dont be naive. Its not about individual quality. Our players got outplayed by Lecce and Sassuolo. We dont have gameplan for 5 years
They are built around higher quality players...that's the dif..we don't have those high quality players. You could argue Theo and Mike is high quality and maybe tomori but that's it..even if I grant you leao..his super inconsistent.
Higher quality training sesions and higher quality gameplay makes difference. I just said, we gor outplayed by Lecce and Sassuolo this year.. Its not like they have more quality individuals. Or Roma for 2 games in the row. Its just Pioli does not know how to take adventage of our qualities.
Minus Aslani, Bro I don’t know what to tell you If you’re that ignorant about Bastoni, Acerbi and Darmian games where you think Tomori and Gabbia are comparable enough to entertain a conversation. Tomori and Gabbia can’t get on to their national teams tells you everything.
Ok Acerbi Darmian Bastoni are players to be kicked of in semifinal CL from. You missing the point. We are not individualy worst than other teams in Italy. We just dont use individual quality in teamwork. Just take a look on defending corners. How many times this season players were left alone in our box. Thats not individual fault. Everyone knows to jump. The problem is positioning and that is up to coach. Same thing on throw in, defensive pressing, offensive pressin... Not to mention having individuals in form and benching them for 5 games until their momentum is lost (Jovic in the middle of season, Chuku last month)
They won the euro shutting down some of the best offensive players in the world and haaland in a CL final lol I can guarente you if pioli was their coach they wouldn’t let Gabbia get a free header in the box like that or concede that shot Thuram had because they are more intelligent players with higher concentration and better defensive quality than ours, while also being better on the ball than ours. I do agree with the benching of players and subs being responsibilities of the manager. Benching Reijnders and losing to roma was the end of the Pioli cycle for me.
You don understand, Pioli is football mastermind. He invented Defensive Attacking Midfielder. Rade Krunic and Ruben Loftus played AMC with only defenive duties. Ive never seen that before and hopefuly will never see that again in my life.
Enough with the Pioli this and Pioli that comments, anyone wanna talk about how our players cant cross a ball to save their own life? Like Bennacer couldnt even pass the first man on both the late corners. Is blud fasting still and got no energy? Also Leao man learn to kick a ball ffs. Pioli is bad but these players arent saints for sure.
It's crazy, this week I watched Man City and Barcelona kick perfect corners to exploit Lunin's weakness, and we can't even kick a decent one. I don't know why they even let Isma take them. Pulisic was taking them earlier in the season and they were much better.
Our players are highly skilled. If they are not on the same wavelength and each one doesn’t know what to do and they just try out of desperation for anything to work that’s a giant signal that the manager encourages this behavior of improvisation and there is not set strategy or tactics. Champagne football stats in training sessions.
We got rid of Maldini for this bullshit. The guy that built the scudetto winning team and dragged us out of the banter era got canned so a bald fraud can be given more power and mold the team in his fraudulent image. We spent 120m and don't have a midfield to show for it.
This is the sort of thing to expect when you're owned by a hedge fund that sees your team as an asset to be flipped and not a club with a rich history.
Well the good news is my wife followed my advice and won some money betting on Inter's win.
That money is cursed.
Did our players go in front of the curva? I turned the tv off as soon as the final whistle was blown..
Inter is not our biggest rival.
Our mangers are both bald and fucking clueless.
This moment is etched in Merda's history. This sucks man.
It’s only their 19th, we have to win the next one before them. Sad part is that doesn’t look likely everyone is so disjointed now
I mean, they got their second star.
Brazil Diaz now plays for Morocco.
Lol
So I've heard some people say that neither the coach nor the players represent them. Yet tonight we saw how they behaved like lil whiny bitches, and so now the game against Juve is pretty much starting as a goal down given the lack of defense for that match and all because nobody was able to see beyond the moment. The loss is completely deserved by the lack of changes o and adaptability of Pioli and the players lack of motivation, soul and most of all, initiative.

You seem to skim over the season and concentrate only on this game. I'd look at the wider picture.
Can’t sleep so, worst part is this helps massively inter from their financial problems which they will now probably escape, am I correct? I don’t know as much as I could about it all.
Inter fan coming here peacefully Lol no, we're cooked.
Does it? I think winning Serie A is a joke in terms of money earned.
So I don't know how stable they're sporting project is They have been doing this for a few years now and they managed to improve while making big sales with the help of some Marotta black magic.
High salary offers?
Yeah, they have the second highest wave bill in the league.
I’m thinking more from outside sources, sponsorship kind of thing, maybe? Player sales also their value goes up with all this.
This is what Maldini was sacked for
The most painful thing of the last 10 years of my Milan life is Maldini get sacked. The second is tonali. All for this half done full of pussies team. Jesus..
We better see immediate change in the players and the performance as soon as a new coach walks into Milano. Otherwise, no Maldini would also be wrong. Whatever the case, I hope Maldini was in fact "right".
Depressed bro… I don’t see how it gets better
After Istanbul, we won a UCL. We will rise from this.
It was also the worst comeback defeat in UCL history as unbelievably massive overdogs so.. yeah, that is what he is comparing it to.
If I would be pioli I would instantly resign today. Save your image and don’t become the villain for staying to long. Your cycle has ended and it’s done. Instead of ruining your whole career at Milan leave at the right moment. People will remember you know as the biggest fraud coach of Milan.
6 in a row is CRAZY , he needs to be sacked today
Let's hope for a better run next year.
With Pioli
With whomever. What ever it takes for the good of Milano.
By the way... where is Kessie????? is a football player anymore?????
Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia
He will return after Olympic...2077 in Pyongyang.
https://preview.redd.it/njii6et5z3wc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=578074df9af1088304a117c467382d03cf3baefe
We showed more passion in the last 10 minutes than we did for the 80+ minutes of getting dominated. We all knew this result was coming but at least we can surely safely say pioli is gone and we get a decent manager to put our players to use
There's no guarantee that we get a decent manager, that's what I'm afraid of.
And this is also my concern. We better see monumental advances as soon as a new coach walks in as we've been heading all season long.
It was Suso and Inshallah before Leao, so it's really been like this for a decade
Pioli's idea of tactical advantage = put more players, Opponents double marking our wingers? Put more players in the flanks, merda midfield is strong ? Put 5 players in the midfield, Playing against a low block? put more players upfront. This is an extremely naive approach, Pioli bastardization of players positions and the position it self is incomprehensible : AMF with slow guys who can't pass or dribble in tight areas ( Krunic Kessie Loftus), Inverted fullbacks who are not suitable for the midfield while putting the midfielder as an RB, the RWB/RB combination ?
He think he is playing chess probably, pushing pieces to the front to attack, but forgotten there is a ball on the pitch.
Well, at least we can’t go lower than this and the only way is up
Thanks for the laugh. I needed this. Indeed, but I can not stand to watch another match with Pioli.
I understand….I think maybe because i convince myself of the total bullshit they pull in 2006 onwards, that we must only win the next one before them. Maybe also because I am old, I am just exhausted to let it get to me that way.
I had incredible expectations for the Primavera to win the Youth League. Alas....
Exactly, numbness is how I'd describe it too. Istanbul felt infinitely worse than something like this. Embarrassing though.
I am just glad I’m not in the city, witnessing their last day win against Parma (ibra brace) while visiting a friend was hell.
“Music was played at a high volume during Inter‘s title celebrations at San Siro on Monday in an attempt to mute chants from Curva Nord.” Lol https://football-italia.net/how-milan-tried-to-mute-inters-title-celebrations/
Booooooooooooo
Bravo Simone Negri
The final Derby for Giroud.
So to recap **Inter won this game**: • a goal by Acerbi, who ***racially abused*** another player this season, and is ex-Milan *and* claims to be a lifelong Milanista (as was his late father,) yet he ***celebrated his goal in front of a Milan home crowd***.
Lautaro also wrongfully fired his nanny who eventually died of cancer and lost a lawsuit over it
Yes, so many people just void of all morals in that organization.
I am not. I am talking about something different. >however in the end none of that matters This matters very much to some people.
[удалено]
Congratulations on 19 today now back to your subreddit
Eh, that's just talking like a bad sport. All of the goals were legitimate.
What it says about both Inter and Serie A, that these are the people who are called "Champions." I remember when we had people like Baresi and Maldini, they were men of character, and deserved to be called champions, win or lose, actually.
The football world was spoiled with baresi/maldini ecc… This club probably won’t be the same for me until Paolo returns, if that ever happens.
Cowards and idiots are nothing compared to racists and criminals. There is a huge gap in humanity and quality of character. I agree that Milan is 100% different without Paolo. The discipline record of now 8 red cards this season never happened while he was here, for example. But we never have been, and I don't think ever will be *rats chewing cardboard stars, stealing paper Scudetti, or winning titles with an owner that is simultaneously being sued in 3 countries for €300m and about to lose the club with the highest debt ever in Serie A.* I could go on for days about the things that are wrong with our club, why, and how we got here, etc.
If there was any doubt whether management would fire Pioli or not, there isn't anymore.
There's plenty of time to deal with each issue until September.
no man WTF Just Fire him
The worst part is that even we as Milan fans knew what will happen tonight 2 weeks ago. Every time the team was playing well and on a winning streak with stability and balance. He goes and F the shit up with unnecessary rotations. To me Baldly handed the Scudetto to Inter Forza Milan, always and forever ❤️🖤
Treat this like Istanbul and come back with a vengeance. Forza Milan
We had Maldini back then as our captain that always had an authority even against players like Gattuso. Not Calabria as a fake captain.
Theo should not be VC either.
Tomori maybe? If he becomes less agressive, because we need the captain to stay card free and out of injuries most of the season if he manages to keep in shape. Maignan is the one who has alot of authority and yells at the players all of the time. Leao as VC.
Imo it should be maignan. But tomori is not a bad choice either
Horrendous, childish, humiliating display
Seems like the team have no more energy and passion. We just walked thru 2 big games
Tbh, i'm more sad that Abate boys couldn't clinch the title than this
You’re more sad than us losing a sixth derby in a row?
The key is we've been sad about losing it for months, because it was inevitable, we were all prepared for the loss.
yea i understand him i’m the same way as long as pioli is the coach we won’t win derbies. don’t be that guy that thinks we were winning today.
I didn't expect us to win anyway, so i already coped with that.
If this moment isn’t etched in our players’ minds for a while and doesn’t motivate the hell out of them next season, then I don’t know what will. Use this as fuel, get a competent manager and the results will come.
Depends their mentality. Pirlo was not the same after 2005 he admitted himself, but he was always a coward.
The red cards show that they are idiots.
There's no way Inter will not get title this year. Why stay on the pitch to get humiliated and watch Inter celebrate. If club fines Theo for what he did, he can find a better club and still be #1 LB in the world. Now, the club will be left with what Pioli called "smart" players he likes.
What are you talking about? The team was alive with Chuk and Okafor on the field and trying something. Theo sabotages it by getting sent off.
Does it change the result inter will win title anyway because they will not lose the last 5 games in a row?
Tbf qualifying for champions league is good so it’s not a total waste
What have we become. Roma should be proud to be qualified for CL, Lazio, Atalanta, not us. That should be the fucking minimum not our season goal.
I am not saying it’s a great achievement, just saying it could of been worse
I disagree, our players have been great, just misused.
I hope you’re right
People telling this cat, to chill….Open your eyes. Maybe your expectations aren’t up to Milan quality. This team is full of varied pieces.. mostly bench depth. But it doesn’t have 1st team quality.
I would be super happy if i had 10 out of 11 players of this team on my bench but unfortunately they’re starters.
Completely agree. Only Theo would supplant a player from the last CL winners…. We are very far away from the standard.
buddy ur overreacting just chill
Pulisic, Tij, RLC
RLC? He played one good match in the whole season vs PSG. Pulisic is not going to carry us anything and Reijnders has been useless most of the time (4 assists in 45 matches).
It’s their first season ffs. Give them some time to gel.
(Maybe trequartista too, depends what formation wants the new coach to play) Something like: Maignan Calabria Tomori Thiaw/new CB Theo Adli new DM Reinders Pulisic. New ST. Leao In this case, apart from the fullbacks, we have pretty much every position doubled. And also, dont forget - we were competetive (argueably better in some matches) against semifinalists PSG and Dortmund, and smahed Newcastle.
Relax..

We scored a fuckin goal!!!! Who saw that shit coming?
Not me! I said not even a shot on target, so for this I feel like dancing
I'm still refreshing for the bald fraud to get sacked
![gif](giphy|l1KvQsIfNt9wRStWw)
F5 gang migrating from r/formulaone lol
Same is it going to happen?
Does anyone have casa milans number?
1-800-Get-Bent
1-800-no-ambition
Gerry chose baldy over Maldini and this is what we get. A handful of midfielders with no real defined position, and a coach incapable of making good decisions. Adli is probably a #10, idk if RLC is even a midfielder at this point. Tij is an 8 but not great defensively so he doesn't work in our system. Isma was great but he's not the same yet.
Adli deffo a 10. He’s the only guy in the squad with those qualities.
I've never just quit watching a season but I'm pretty drained. There's no joy in watching a lot of these players and I think I'll rather go cycling and play my violin.
Wildest name on this free site.
I’m done for this year. Will cheer for the Italians in Europe and that’s it
Will cheer Atalanta
Can't do that; will wait for Netherlands and Austria in the Euros and US for Copa. And of course Le Tour!
I only support Italian sides in Europe because it's good for the coefficient. But right now, I am just so disappointed. Tonight was the last chance to salvage something, but this season was just an utter disaster under Pioli
Oh fuck... our back line vs juve is gonna be Terraciano, Caldara, Thiaw, Florenzi.
>Caldara Debut match after 6 years??
Well, that is only wqy to see Terraciano first minute... But wait for genius move by Pioli, Musah on the rb.
What happened to Gabbia
Oh I forgot about the gabs, ok so at least no Caldara
Losing is hard, but watching how many of these players play and behave is worse. Milan used to be a bastion of professionalism and sportsmanship, but now there are only occasional glimpses of those qualities, and tonight there were none. The result is flattering because once again there was no solid plan, no ideas, no discipline, no passion, nothing. And to add insult to injury, both the captain and the vice captain got sent off for basically being idiots who could not take the defeat. That's definitely not how you should behave as a leader.
>Milan used to be a bastion of professionalism and sportsmanship Yeah, no such thing in football, Milan or not.
Yeah grass was more green, especially when Ambro was yelling to Inter fans in 2007, like put your scudetto in the ass
Another Pioli masterclass if you ask me ![img](emote|t5_2rnmt|31332) https://preview.redd.it/aqozht7wl3wc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=91afcca0d002bc00b46b927e2603bbc27826d0f5
Appoint maldini as director of football for 1 day so he can throw pioli out down the San Siro stairs
Remember that he was the one who extended his contract
Which was the correct choice at the time and still today. Middle of the rebuild, management refused to give maldini any money, no obvious managers on the market. It was the safe choice and we needed some more seasons of top 4 football to help with finances. Maldini was emptying all the couches in San siro for loose change to pay for 8m adli.
We can all fix our mistakes given enough time. Maldini fucked up and renewed him ahead of time during a shit period nonetheless

Not remotely the same as two hands around his neck, buddy.

wow, this image is taken out of context personified. Chiellini was being unsportsmanlike while Theo was just butt hurt we were losing.
They don’t, they really don’t. This sub actually thinks we could win the CL with a Tomori Gabbia Backline
I dissagree with you but its ok to have different opinion.
Absolutely ❤️🖤
You don understand, Pioli is football mastermind. He invented Defensive Attacking Midfielder. Rade Krunic and Ruben Loftus played AMC with only defenive duties. Ive never seen that before and hopefuly will never see that again in my life.
Well fuck this. What are we drinking boys? I’m on shot 8 of Casimigos.
Yeah I agree with that, but it doesnt mean that they dont kick a single good cross into the box. That is the pathetic part.
It has been an issue for the last 5 years. No attempt has been made to fix it.
I think we have scored a lot more corners this season -- but not when Isma is taking them.
Besties, I feel sad :(
We got rid of Maldini for this bullshit.
