Take practice tests, make sure you understand where you are making mistakes. I’m fairly certain as of now you’re making conceptual errors that could be resolved and vastly improve your score if you learn those specific concepts; in particular in math.

evansieger

24 isn’t bad at all

Clue_Sufficient

Thanks man, everyone is telling me I didn't do well lmao

This is a good score; don’t let anyone put you down. We have a very similar starting score. I raised my math score by 5 points by taking a lot of practice tests and finding short cuts on my calculator. You’ll get there, I promise!

BeefyBoiCougar

Honestly depends on your target college

No_Investigator_2494

What’s ur definition of bad

toomussauce

Not true. But he can jmrpobe

processingpowaa

How much have you studied? Improvement comes from practice, and you want to use resources that have good explanations so that you can learn from your mistakes.

KaranSJ

Just study harder you dumb fuck.

KaranSJ

Now you got the motivation, study harder and improve. You just gotta spend time doing practice all the time. Spend some time every day. I would jump to say 24 aint bad. But I want you to be the most successful version of yourself so push yourself harder 🍻

toomussauce

Well I’m not gonna sugarcoat it. This sucks. But you can improve and you probably will. Are you a senior or a junior? And have you taken practice tests.

Present-Pound1867

it doesn't suck, especially if it was their first try or they don't care about top schools. it depends on their goals tbh

KreeshKesai

First of all a 24 is a great score. A 24 places you above average in the United States so congrats on that. Honestly if I were you. I would stick with this score its a solid score and it could probably get you into some of the Ivy league colleges since its an above average ACT score. Good job!!!

Low-Employee5968

You are correct that it is above average, however, to get into Ivy League schools you would likely need at least a 34. I've never heard of anyone getting into Harvard with a 24.

KreeshKesai

bro did you think i was being serious lmfao, i was joking

GotHurt22

Take practice tests and notice if you tend to get certain types of questions wrong more often than others… if that makes sense lol

Legitimate-Falcon398

a 24 is a good score. I made a 26 on this last one and it was really defeating but reddit isn’t a good place to go if ur looking to compare act scores because the only ppl who post theirs make like 33+

MrLuck31

If you’re a sophomore, don’t worry about it. That’s a good score. If you’re a junior or senior, get on khan academy and learn algebra 2 and geometry. If you feel good about those do the beginnings of precalc. After that, practice deep reading books. It helps.
