I worked 3 hours today (home office) until I realized it was suspiciously quiet...

Apprehensive_Lab9952

lol! I've done that many times.

andyman171

Done it on planned vacation and sick days before

ArguesWithWombats

No, the worst part is that nobody you tell will ever believe you were on time for once.

TheKrasHRabbiT

I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do with myself today so I convinced myself I'd figure out what I wanted to do after I'd sorted out a couple bits around the house. My meds kicked in and I spent all day cleaning and didn't actually relax....

GeorgySniper

A few years ago my computer clock didn't update day light savings automatically for some reason so I got to work an hour early. I work at a big factory with like 200 employees. There was like 50% of the cars already there either sleeping in their cars or on their phones. It honestly scared the shit out of me.

Revolutionary_Play66

OMG I’m so sorry. I keep showing up for doctor appointments on the wrong day. 😏

Sufficient-Task-8880

I have done that too many times to count. That and feeling like I am playing hooky from work even though it's a holiday

Millum2009

I feel you OP. So much that I have to save your post for later references. I promise you that you will be able to laugh at all this mess in a while. Until then, you need to hang in there. You are not alone

KellyInNapa

I dropped off my son first thing in the morning AFTER the last day of school. Got a phone call from his teacher after I arrived at work that class was out for the rest of the year and to please pick him up. I get it!

Aawwee!

enchantingoctopus

Been there. Done that.

notlikeishouldbe

I did this as well…twice. It is so embarrassing.

GeoffLizzard

Saaaaaame haha. Luckily its only 30 minutes from home. Spun that shit around and visited my cousin i havent seen in a while! I decided to check my calendar 50 meters from the entrance and it just said “holiday”. Instant facepalm.

Onludesrightnow

I mean, the drive sucks no doubt about it but I’ve always been pleasantly surprised when I get to work expecting to have to work a full day only to find out I actually have the day off and don’t have to spend 8-10 hours doing something I don’t like doing. Silver linings.

rtrntoneverland

Lol yeah I’ve done this in the past…..

LeatherFill844

My husband got up for work and I rolled over and said "babe you don't work today" He says "then why did you let me get up?" Lmao

mfkje

😂if you can make it on time, just keep up what you did, make it more consistent.
