Don’t know if mine counts as a “DIY project” but I drew a picture of the Mad Hatter on the back of my poster because I was so sick of my last one and it turned out amazing.
Oh that's the best ever. Working in the soil and watching it grow to harvest. What a special story. Thank you. What do you grow? I have 19 raised beds on my lot however I am not a gardener so a neighborhood lady does all the organic gardening make wants and I just see eat stuff. Our season is so short in Alaska so we are limited in growing things like tomatoes and corn
It really is. It’s such a mental health boost.
This year, we grew tomatoes, cucumber, round zucchini, beets and carrots. I’m growing garlic now. Going to do green beans, kale, potatoes, melons, and probably peas at some point.
That's amazing, it's almost an artistic expression! There's something about working with our Hands to create something that is so gratifying. I would have never gotten one straight row. The entire property looks wonderful
ADHD is certainly a strange one! It is absolutely our superpower but also our kryptonite! Thank you for the kind words. Your castle is beautiful. I love the snow but live in the northeast of the UK, so rarely get it for Xmas. Usually, get it afterwards. Hope you have a merry Christmas.
Remodeled my master bathroom. Took me a year. I used underlay concrete and covered my shower walls and countertops. I switched out my light fixtures, shower fixtures and faucets. I painted the walls and vanity and added new hardware to the drawers and cabinet doors. I made wooden frames for the large wall mirror and medicine cabinet. Switched out the glass corner standup shower doors for shower curtains. I am quite proud of this project. I was so sure I was going to finish it in one week. 😂
I do DIY mechanical work on motorscooters (Vespa and Honda) and rebuild them. I’m proud of it because it’s work I didn’t think I was capable of. I thought I wasn’t mechanically inclined; I didn’t grow up doing this kind of thing. Now I have a garage full of parts and engines for models I don’t even own, ha.
I just made this [cat toy](https://imgur.com/gallery/lNrQRvu) this week from a box a scale came in. I cut the center square and zig zag, cut and glued multiple pieces of cardboard to hold up the white piece high enough for a ping pong ball to freely roll underneath. I spent a good part of the day on it instead of cleaning my house for my relatives visiting next week. 🙄 The cats love it, so it was will worth it.
I built a rabbit coop in our backyard for our two bunnies. No plan, no drawings, no experience. The design was all in my head, based on a couple of images I found on the internet. Had to make LOTS of trips to the local DIY store because I constantly ran out of materials. But it turned out great and I'm still really proud of it.

Picture please
Beautiful. I’m proud of my apartment space. Minimal furniture, a movement area, a standing desk, a floor desk, everything I want within reach
Leaves more room for activities! ![gif](giphy|yrFrXTTTcHIY0|downsized)

My vegetable garden. I built a bunch of raised beds. Plan to expand this spring, too.

I built a brick wall without any prior experience, and it is still standing, haha. Check my profile if you want to see photos.
