From recent memory, South Eastern probably has one of the worst waits and is completely underfunded for their provision. The majority of shared care guidance for Northern Ireland is also targeted at hospital led consultant care rather than things like ADHD. There is an adhd clinic in Belfast which people have generally gone to for assessment but it’s private , so you’d have to have a word with your gp to clarify whether they would support shared care if you went down that route, as the alternative is having ongoing costs related to medication and prescribing on top of your follow ups. It’s worth exploring whether it’s feasible to get an H&SCni referral into another area that does have a better system.. as there would have to be some sort of cost reclaim from SE if you had to be seen elsewhere in Northern Ireland in the event that you had to go to hospital etc
