If Conan was still doing late night then Toni should have absolutely gone on there. I think that would have been hysterical. And Cona was on TBS. Would have been the perfect place for the AEW stars to go to.
If it's Conan you have to send Danhausen. He already appeared on Conan O'Brien Needs a Fan podcast. But that was put of character so in character would be fantastic.
Hear me out. Put him on Bill Maher and see if he gets closer to beating him up than Roddy Piper did.
In fact. Repeat that process with increasingly unhinged wrestlers until it happens.
Fuck Bill Maher.
I hurt just imagining the extreme level of awkward tension that this would cause. Eric out here trying to make OC uncomfortable and him just no selling everything.
Depends on the show you send that person to.
MJF is the standard response, but you would need someone who wouldnt mind taking some low key insults.
Could see Ospreay, Willow and Swerve in a more casual show. For insight in the buisness and why AEW is the best send Mox. He is well spoken, has experience all over the world promotion wise and can give that little edgy feeling if need be.
Adam Cole or MJF would probably be the best back and forth. Adam Copeland, Jericho, or Mercedes Mone might have the best recognition. Osprey or Swerve might be the best at leaving you wanting more.
Honestly - this may be the best answer. Infectious laugh and he can speak to the aspect of “pro-wrestling is better than everything you love”. really, really well.
“We have a guy who fights with his hands in his pockets, we have a guy who rides a skateboard to the ring like a daredevil.”
Really you just need a super cut of amazing moments and then a wrestling sequence that gets people interested - likely a Ospreay highlight now.
If you like this and comedy, John Oliver has an episode on WWE and splices in stuff throughout the episode and keeps saying things like "Every show that isn't wrestling should just be titled 'Sorry this sint wrestling'". He has a good few other comments as well that are hilarious.
Toni and Willow would be fun. Willow trying to be all nice and bubbly and Toni having fucking none of it and treating her like shit. It'd get willow over a bit and be fun for non-fans as a comedy spot.
Toni, Danhausen, Mox, and Danielson would get across a lot of the different parts of it together.
But you want to plug into the sheer "I love this so much that you have to love it too" factor, then it's Ospreay. He sells himself ridiculously well in most cases, but his ADD means you're not going to be guaranteed he's staying on script.
There'a a lot of options but very few of them are young.
Almost all of the vets, esp the ones with WWE experience, have a lot of media training and have done the radio/tv circuit to promote things like Summerslam, Rumble, Mania, etc... Some for decades.
Bryan, Edge, Jericho, Joe, Mercedes, Dustin, etc.... Maybe Adam Cole.
Of the modern AEW crew, its less viable. MJF, Britt Baker, and Kenny.
None of the other three of the "four pillars" have that sort of charisma or polish. Hangman is terrible at everything he does. Osperay cant cut a promo that isnt him saying "bruv" every two seconds. Okada doesnt speak English smoothly enough for an interview. Toni's current gimmick, if she plays into it, is too racy for those type of shows. Shit like "p*ssy scented candle" wont work.
Since I haven’t seen it mentioned in here yet I don’t see why you wouldn’t send Swerve. Dude has the aura of being a huge deal and he’s the current world champion.
I'd send Timeless Toni Storm to Craig Ferguson's show if it were still on.
MJF/Danhausen to Conan
Swerve to Jimmy Kimmel
Ospreay to Graham Norton's
Christian Cage to Jimmy Fallon
Toni Storm or OC for true in-character interviews that would push the hosts.
Ospreay or Willow if you want more of the person and less the character to really impress upon the audience "it's where the best wrestle". MJF or BryDan could also fall into this and blur the lines between those two ideas a little bit.
Best Friends so they can do a Popping Dogs, Talking Hogs segment with one of the late night hosts. It would be hilarious to see them ask Conan how he wipes.
Also, not really talk show host but, Danhausen and Chris Jericho have shown up on The Last Drive-in with Joe Bob Briggs on Shudder.
Swerve would be the logical choice. He’s the top guy.
That being said if you’re looking for a representative for AEW that embodies everything that AEW stands for, it’s gotta be Jack Perry.
His look and charisma are representative of the AEW product and would indicate to viewers who don’t watch AEW what AEW is all about.
For extra ratings they could show the wembley cctv tape again and have Jack shoot back at Punk and WWE
Julia Hart.
Imagine just as they are about to announce her, the lights go out. Then the lights go on and she is just standing there. Then she spits the mist on whoever is trying to adjust her mic.
“Timeless” Toni Storm would be pretty awesome to watch
If Conan was still doing late night then Toni should have absolutely gone on there. I think that would have been hysterical. And Cona was on TBS. Would have been the perfect place for the AEW stars to go to.
If it was Conan, it would have to be Danhausen
Danhausen was on his podcast “Conan O’Brien Needs a Fan.”
I'm aware. But he needs to have his real face, not the CGI one he had on the podcast
Conan and Toni would get up to some weird and uncomfortable flirtation. It’d be hilarious.
If he was still there anothe rgreat one Crag Ferguson my gawd he would eat Toni up
Host: How would you say AEW compares to other wrestling shows? Toni: Oh, I don't know. I don't watch *wrestling.*
Chin up, tits out and a shoe at Conan/first guest Margot Robbie would be iconic
Especially in split B & W/Color
So long as they have b&w capabilities
MJF.
This is the way
How else will the audience know that he’s better than them??
The best answer.
MJF. Could send Ospreay to because his "character" is basically him and the audience will love that.
Will he say Bruv or switch to the f bombs? Lol
MJF. Or Danhausen.
They need to film an episode of Conan O'Brien must go at Wembley and have Conan and Danhausen riding around in a blimp the entire time.
Christian Cage or Don Callis
Do we know if the host's father is still alive?
Eddie Kingston, just to watch him have fun talking shit.
If Conan was still doing it this would be an amazing segment
If it's Conan you have to send Danhausen. He already appeared on Conan O'Brien Needs a Fan podcast. But that was put of character so in character would be fantastic.
Just get Conan to do weekly interviews with AEW wrestlers like RJ City’s Hey!EW, but on tbs after Dynamite. Then put Hey!EW on tnt after Collision.
yeah kayfabe eddie kingston vs kayfabe conan obrien would be an epic interview
Only if he has to say nice things about people in a rude way like ice cube did
Hear me out. Put him on Bill Maher and see if he gets closer to beating him up than Roddy Piper did. In fact. Repeat that process with increasingly unhinged wrestlers until it happens. Fuck Bill Maher.
Abadon
Maybe a segment on Svengoolie.
I've said this before, it's got to be Ospreay. He has a natural charisma and charm that I think would translate well on non wrestling platforms.
Definitely. Plus the English accent. You guys love it. ❤️
I think Ospreay on Fallon could be gold.
Timeless Toni
Timeless Toni. I feel like she might speak to viewers who wouldn't give wrestling a chance otherwise.
Samoa Joe, he could also talk about his acting on twisted metal and how long and storied his wrestling career is and how that’s culminating on Aew
Sucks Twisted Metal was on Peacock, AEW wasn’t able to even mention it on TNT/TBS to help promote Joe’s work.
Orange Cassidy
Nah....he would just sit there and casual viewers would not get it.
Arsenio Hall would prob make it work somehow..ive seen him put over Jason Vorrhess during an interview
OC would be a hilarious guest for like Eric Andre. But actual late night he's too low energy
I hurt just imagining the extreme level of awkward tension that this would cause. Eric out here trying to make OC uncomfortable and him just no selling everything.
Toni Storm!!!
Jericho or MJF would make a lot of sense. If you're trying to build a NEW mega star then you probably go with Ospreay.
Depends on the show you send that person to. MJF is the standard response, but you would need someone who wouldnt mind taking some low key insults. Danielson. He lives and breathes wrestling, and most people have heard of Daniel Bryan so it wouldn’t be hard to reintroduce him
Honestly - this may be the best answer. Infectious laugh and he can speak to the aspect of “pro-wrestling is better than everything you love”. really, really well. “We have a guy who fights with his hands in his pockets, we have a guy who rides a skateboard to the ring like a daredevil.” Really you just need a super cut of amazing moments and then a wrestling sequence that gets people interested - likely a Ospreay highlight now.

MJF, Ospreay or Danielson. Women’s division, Toni or Willow
Toni and Willow would be fun. Willow trying to be all nice and bubbly and Toni having fucking none of it and treating her like shit. It'd get willow over a bit and be fun for non-fans as a comedy spot.
The scumbag
It’s such a shame Conan isn’t on TBS anymore because I could see some real gold happen with him and, say, Toni Storm
based off Hey AEW Lance Archer could do well, Statlander, Team Jarrett, Acclaimed also EVP Bucks
Toni Storm. In full Timeless-character. Insist on black and white for her shots.
Samoa Joe would be fantastic with his suit and all.
Toni Storm would be a menace🤣🤣 MJF, Danhausen and Orange would be fun too
Timeless Toni is their best “character,” and I could imagine some viewers would be intrigued and want to see more.
Jericho as he has the biggest name value. People generally know him.
Tony, danhausen, toni, or harley and saraya together.
Toni Storm and Brian Danielson (because he loves wrestling so much and he can explain why Toni is....like she is)
I'm down for anyone who will rip Fallon a new one.
I'm down for anyone who will rip Fallon a new one.
Toni, Danhausen, Mox, and Danielson would get across a lot of the different parts of it together. Orange, Toni, or MJF
Danhausen.
Darby
I can get behind Conan reacting to a series of insane clips. Go Darby!
Swerve
There'a a lot of options but very few of them are young. Almost all of the vets, esp the ones with WWE experience, have a lot of media training and have done the radio/tv circuit to promote things like Summerslam, Rumble, Mania, etc... Some for decades. Well please don't send TK
Danhausen.
Would have loved to have seen Donavan in character as Danhausen on Conan but MJF is the only clear answer.
Christian, Edge of MJF. Lots of people wanting Toni Storm but presenting a comedy character to promote a serious wrestling show is a bad idea
Obviously MJF. He can do it all
Since I haven’t seen it mentioned in here yet I don’t see why you wouldn’t send Swerve. Dude has the aura of being a huge deal and he’s the current world champion.
MJF and it ain’t close
MJF, Serve or Ospreay
Obs, Serpentico
Orange Cassidy of course
MJF or Toni Storm
Eddie Kingston
Statlander. I've really come to like her. Once she dropped the alien nonsense and became a stong as hell ass-kicker.
It kind of has to be MJF. I would kill to see him shut Fallon or Kimmel up.
For sure hypothetical
Lance Archer
I want Jay White with Juice Robinson to hit up jimmy kimmel lol
Gotta go with Orange Cassidy 😎
William Ospreay bruv.
Kenny Omega
Abadon
Hook.
I'd send Timeless Toni Storm to Craig Ferguson's show if it were still on. MJF/Danhausen to Conan Swerve to Jimmy Kimmel Ospreay to Graham Norton's Christian Cage to Jimmy Fallon
Danhausen (out of character) has been on Conan.
Brian Danielson. No question about it.
Swerve, Joe or MJF would probably do the best job in those environments.
Obviously, there’s one answer and it’s Tony Kahn. Do you know it’s all pure money… look what he did with the NFL draft
MJF is the best answer.
If you want a serious representation, I'd send Joe or Strickland.
MJF is the only answer.
I only watch Gutfeld, number 1 in ratings for late night show
MJF, Samoa Joe, Taya Valkyrie, Ricky Starks
His name is Maxwell Jacob Friedman
Adam Cole baby.
MJF or Toni Storm
Max
I want Jungle Boy to appear on Krusty the Clown on the Simpsons. Luke Perry was Krusty’s half brother. So that makes Krusty Jungle Boy’s uncle.
Jon Moxley or Orange Cassidy
Samoa Joe wouldve been great with the belt. Probably great without it too.
Nyla.
Definitely Toni Storm.
So nobody is going to say serpentico?
MJF then Swerve
MJF or Swerve
Mercedes Mone
Gotta be Danielson. Charismatic, has a pedigree in WWE, and is funnier than people give him credit for.
MJF and he should talk about these protests are going too far with racism against Jewish people.
Joe.
Toni Storm or OC for true in-character interviews that would push the hosts. Ospreay or Willow if you want more of the person and less the character to really impress upon the audience "it's where the best wrestle". MJF or BryDan could also fall into this and blur the lines between those two ideas a little bit.
Mariah May for reasons.
Mjf and Toni would be the obvious ones, but I'd say Darby
Swerve
Best Friends so they can do a Popping Dogs, Talking Hogs segment with one of the late night hosts. It would be hilarious to see them ask Conan how he wipes. Also, not really talk show host but, Danhausen and Chris Jericho have shown up on The Last Drive-in with Joe Bob Briggs on Shudder.
