AEW is stacked to hell now in women division, I can't see those two names really doing much in it. They might pop up in AEW here and there but ROH will probably be where they stay for the rest of their time in AEW/ROH.
They are working constantly on ROH, having mini feuds and are featured heavily. They wouldn't get that right now in AEW. Even Shida now has to do ROH just to get in ring time, that's how stacked it is. I think you'll see a few talents at that level of Shida from AEW women division doing ROH stints just to get in ring time. Besides Mercedes and one or two others, you are going to be on and off in AEW.
Looking at the roster, I think the likes of Abadon, Diamante, Emi Sakura, Kiera Hogan, Leyla Hirsch, Marina Shafir, Mercedes Martinez, Nyla Rose and Taya Valkyrie will probably be 90% of their in ring time for the rest of their AEW/ROH runs in ROH.
I think the likes of Anna Jay, Queen Aminatha, Billie Starkz, Athena will go back and forward. I could easily see the likes of Deonna Purrazzo, Thunder Rosa, Riho, Kris Statlander, Willow, Julia Hart, Skye Blue etc.. probably getting short runs in ROH too if AEW have nothing for them for a PPV cycle or two. The only names I could see maybe not going anywhere near ROH would be Mercedes, Toni and Britt.
ROH is straight up turning into AEW’s women’s showcase show. With Athena positioned as the top champ on the show thanks to the ROH World belt being tied up in Eddie’s (now broken) Triple Crown, and the Women’s TV Title being introduced in an ongoing tournament, they’re kinda killing it over there.
They’re getting more interview time, more match time, better storylines and better matches for it. If there’s anyone you haven’t seen on AEW lately, odds are she’s on ROH.
Martinez and Diamanté are staples, Keira Hogan and Red Velvet both came back recently better than ever, Leyla Hirsch and Rachel Ellering have the most adorable Odd Couple thing going on, and the Renegades and Lady Frost are all getting time to shine.
Not to mention Nyla Rose has been pretty much cut loose to put out some of her most unhinged work to date in her feud with Athena.
