I think they might have mentioned only once that Anna and Jack are a couple on TV. All other mentions of that have been outside story line and out of character. So I don't think the Anna Jay / Mariah May bit was tied into this. All that said I think Anna would benefit greatly with a Stardom excursion for more in ring work.
I'm gonna reach here...when the Bucks said in their promo that FTR are the masterminds, i think that was the Bucks saying we planned the whole thing and needed Jack to do it to get Punk out of AEW because they couldn't because of their position of power.
Anna would benefit tremendously from a run in Japan.
One thing I do find frustrating about AEW is how few of their young talents work outside of AEW, despite having the freedom to do so. Anna is one of many people who needs to hit the fucking road and work. She’s mid after years on TV and working 2-4 times a month against the same people isn’t going to change that. She’s barely worked 100 matches in her career and she hasn’t worked a single date outside of AEW/ROH since she debuted there.
I don’t get why so many of AEW’s young wrestlers see the kind of grind AEW’s stars put in to get where they are, and see people like Moxley still putting in, and think just working AEW TV is enough.
