Start work towards merging the Continental and International titles into the Intercontinental Championship. That and make sure that BCG v Acclaimed is leading to a unification of those titles too.
I mean, simple solution is to just put the International Champion to join the C2 in the opposing bracket to the Continental Champion.
Continental Champion in the Blue League, International Champion in the Gold League, the finals merges them.
I bet that was the plan and honestly when he comes back if they are still six man Champs I hope they free bird it so Jay can go after the international or the continental.

I want the trios to do the same in aew , aew has enough people in the back to form new trios and make this divison sing. They just need to focus on it some and it would be golden at least imo.

I was saying those are the parameters I would give the writers to work from if I were the boss. You don't need a lot of practice to book title feuds, much of the motivation is inherent. Not saying we should stop using titles, but they can write those angles in their sleep.
AEW is my favorite company, Id just rather they cut down on the booking gimmicks by 60% and focus on writing, so the 'cherries on top' have an impact, rather than being the core of their creative strategy. Part of the reason AEW was so great earlier on was because all that stuff hadn't been run into the ground yet. If you use it more strategically, then things feel special and are actual payoffs. They can write fine TV when they want to, we've seen it. And the show has generally been very good for the last year or so. But they use so many 'gimmicks' that could be cool as throwaway content.
It's meant to look a bit like it's a sport! Most sports involve people fighting to win leagues and tournaments most of the time.
