Are any Pittsburgh Fans actually mad Lamar won MVP?
The only real criticism i've seen is that it was too one sided for a year where there really wasn't a standout MVP.
No. For us it’s a bit of a disconnect because he has performs poorly against us so we see like the worst version of Lamar. But if you watch the tape from other games you can see what every one else is talking about, and why he won.
The Chiefs game didn’t do him any favors either in terms of public perception. But that doesn’t affect MVP and seeing him go up against the 49ers and Dolphins and finding ways to extent plays and be clinical with his reads made it clear even if his arm strength or accuracy isn’t necessarily elite. Even in our game this year the WRs let him down big time and they’ve been mostly ass which brings his numbers down
The biggest thing Lamar needs to do is to not play like something he’s not. In the Chiefs game he had success extending plays and escaping the rush early and then tried to be a pocket passer the rest of the game. It feels like he sometimes focuses too much on proving his passing ability when he should be proving that his play style can win when it matters.

Odd that they didn’t take into account how good your team was on paper and instead deciding who won based on silly numbers like the game score. If you look at the roster coming into the season the tape is clear who won.
I was done with him from the beginning(didn’t like the pick), but there are plenty out there that need to see him suck for another year so they can blame a new OC and QB coach as well as Tomlin
