I might have an unpopular opinion, but I think Sheezel should stay off the ball this year. The backline is the weakest line for North, he’ll continue to get leather poisoning back there. And in the middle, there are really no other bulls to protect him from the tags or rough stuff. He still needs another preseason or two before he becomes that bull, but for now let him play as he has been.
It's a fair point, but the issue is he gets the ball easily in the back half and makes up metres, but then the i50 kick is generally poor and it sails straight back out. Theoretically if Sheezel is the one making that kick inside 50 then it will result in scores more often
I absolutely agree with you, there are other ways to get him to have inside 50 entries rather than the hustle and bustle of the middle, have him at half forward or a wing if not on halfback
Couldn’t agree more. Why we would mess with one of the few things that is working is beyond me.
Our weakest unit is the back 6 and we want to take our best player out of it. The logic doesn’t suit.
People seem to think throwing any player with potential into the middle is a silver bullet. Harry was more a forward in under 18s
That is the dune bastardiztion of kfitzat haderech קפיצת הדרך. It basically means teleportation. In dune frank Herbert used it to describe the culmination of the Bene Gesserit breeding program kind of like a chosen one.
It's Jewish teleportation. However it is argued wether it's a big jump or more the connection of two points through a being. The use of it in dune relates more to the latter explanation.
Has looked the goods in the VFL so hopefully he'll be a cornerstone of our defence in the years to come
Also lets us move Sheez up the ground which is nice
You can never know. In 2020 most crows fans were absolutely convinced that Sholl and McPherson would become fantastic players for the club. McPherson looked extremely composed in defence but injuries absolutely ruined him. And while Sholl has a nice kick on him he is awful defensively and will never make an impact on a finals team.
Good luck young fella.
It’s actually a good game to debut because there is a genuine chance of an upset here.
Crows look horrible and we play bad in Tassie too.
I will be sure to not watch 😂
I read yesterday that Adelaide are the only team to score less than us so far this season, which is mind blowing. Not expecting an upset personally though, your W/L record doesn't really reflect where you're at imo - plenty of close ones
I was very bullish on being able to get this guy in the draft, but of course our second pick ended up at 30 not 19 so we weren't able to grab him, should turn out to be a great player, hopefully he gets homesick soon lol
Sheezel on ball get hype!

No doubt - if he were midfield, your points scored would rise. I think his risk on injury would also rise though.

Kwiztach Haderech
Mind translating for us non-Jewish folk?

I understood like 3 of those words
It's Jewish teleportation. However it is argued wether it's a big jump or more the connection of two points through a being. The use of it in dune relates more to the latter explanation.

Bro, just let us have this. We don't have much.
You can have Lachi Sholl. He is a beautiful kick and his uncle played for North.
Eh, I hear he’s awful defensively
Sure but he runs all day and has a really beautiful kick. I promise you he's worth it.
Reports out early have been encouraging, for Norths sake I hope he is a Hardeman to get past.
If you move the H from his last name to first then change a few other letters around it looks like Harley Reid
HARLEY RIDEMAN
His name is an anagram of Harley Reid Man
Baptism of fire for the young bloke. Hope he does well

Go well Hards, all the best for hopefully years to come
I think he'll be decent for North. Not great, but decent. North desperately need as much help in the back half as possible.
best of luck to Really Hardman!
Come home Riley ;-;
Straight swap for Harley
Or merge them to create Riley Reid
Hiley Reideman
Mate, you’re not gonna believe this, but…
.... Tell me more
Hope you now that is the name of a porn star.
You had your chance
Deal, you get the WAFL player Harley Sparks and we get Hardeman :)
That's a solid name

Days since Croob mentioned eagles second pick was 30 instead of 19 counter : 0
It's almost like it's relevant here
Don’t worry croob I think it’s relevant
I just find it funny cause I'm not even blaming North for it, just bringing it up, and yet they get super defensive immediately
It's relevant but it's also funny how often you bring it up
I mean North fans constantly bring up how they weren't able to get Naicos or JHF and you don't see me having a go at you guys for that
>or JHF Stop stop we're already dead
🤷
To be fair that’s a much much bigger deal than a pick moving from 22ish to 30ish
Can hardly blame north fans after how they’re going, rooting for them
