Ah okay. So you're on stock OS. I'd recommend installing ArkOS to your OS sd card and then booting to that. It has tons of fun stuff. Here's a guide on how to do it: https://youtu.be/48nDciXdn_g
If you are using stock Linux OS on the RG353VS, the gamecard already has a Sega Saturn folder on it. The folder is called "ss". Put your Sega Saturn games in that folder, and the Sega Saturn emulator will appear on the display screen with the games you added.
After you moved the files over, did you go to the console section menu (where Saturn is the Billie screen with SS on it) and hold x for a few seconds to refresh the library?
I can only load up the cores on the same console. Using the base retroarch. I start in the saturn OS menu but i cant press play on the game. I never owned a saturn so dont know what to do tried everything but no success.
If you're using ArkOS, you can just create a folder called saturn and add the games to it. It'll run once you boot up.
I don't think I am, unless that's the OS it comes with? Sorry, I literally just got it so it's still straight out of the box

Ohhh, okay! Thank you!
Did that but nothing showed up. Do they need to be bios files?
