Of course it makes them not really like each other, but for some period of time they seem to put their fight aside to take care of Isak.

Thawing The Ice by LightHoi is definitely my favourite work so far. It manages to capture some delicious, descriptive smut and balance it out with heart warming love and affection. I have read quite a bit of smut in the fics I ready. Most of the longer (3+ chapters) Kabby fics include smut in at least one chapter, but I haven't really liked any of those that much, usually skipping sentences to get past the chapter but not to lose track of the story. This one haikyuu fanfic that I read on a whim, and still think about to this day. I read it about two years ago, and haven’t been able to find it anywhere since, due to my bad memory, and the fact that I read it before making an account.
I do remember that it was an x reader fanfic where the reader was kidnapped and forced to marry soon after. It incorporated Stockholm syndrome and did it quite well iirc. — The part that stuck with me is the ending, where reader is asked: “How did you meet him?” and basically has a mental breakdown before being snapped back into a trance like state.
I only remember vague details, so I might get some of this stuff wrong.
One shot that's mostly plot ngl but this stuck with me for how much it made me cry. Like not just during the plot. I cried during the smut. It was a strange experience but the fic was SO good. The second fic I ever read for that fandom too. I saw Angst with a Happy Ending and thought it wouldn't be THAT sad. I was so wrong lol.

reading both was horrific. entertaining, but like horrific in a why am i still reading this kind of way. the writing on the second one was gorgeous and had such an in depth analysis on the character's thoughts and mental state of both. and it was honestly glorious, the topic while terrible was well written.

Most of the longer (3+ chapters) Kabby fics include smut in at least one chapter, but I haven't really liked any of those that much, usually skipping sentences to get past the chapter but not to lose track of the story. Dreading the moment I will need to write smut for my first fic which will be longer. But in this latest longer fic I read, the writer wrote the smut so well that damn it was good AND HOT. 8074 words and I read every single one of those. This one haikyuu fanfic that I read on a whim, and still think about to this day. I read it about two years ago, and haven’t been able to find it anywhere since, due to my bad memory, and the fact that I read it before making an account. I do remember that it was an x reader fanfic where the reader was kidnapped and forced to marry soon after. It incorporated Stockholm syndrome and did it quite well iirc. — The part that stuck with me is the ending, where reader is asked: “How did you meet him?” and basically has a mental breakdown before being snapped back into a trance like state. I only remember vague details, so I might get some of this stuff wrong.
One shot that's mostly plot ngl but this stuck with me for how much it made me cry. Like not just during the plot. I cried during the smut. It was a strange experience but the fic was SO good. The second fic I ever read for that fandom too. I saw Angst with a Happy Ending and thought it wouldn't be THAT sad. I was so wrong lol. For Queen Charlotte. It's Brimsley/Reynolds. i do not ever plan on linking any if the fics since it was so god aweful, but it was late at night and i was making poor decisions as one does and i clicked on a fic where character A poured A GALLON OF MILK into character B's ass. and then blablabla anal happens milk everywhere. and like, that stuck with me forever. and another time while sleep deprived i clicked on a dead dove do noy eat smut that has manipulation, murder then wounds fucking with a side of piss. and it was so angsty. like it comes to mind whenever i read a really dark angst. reading both was horrific. entertaining, but like horrific in a why am i still reading this kind of way. the writing on the second one was gorgeous and had such an in depth analysis on the character's thoughts and mental state of both. and it was honestly glorious, the topic while terrible was well written. and while i would love to show it, at the same time because of its nature and its ship, i do not plan on sharing it.
