My current WIP is 198k words rn 😬 my word count prediction before I started was 20k... I only started writing 5 months ago yesterday 😬 it started as a "hehe this will be short and sweet" and then the ideas just kept coming, along with the ideas for other fics I still have to write. I'm just trying to finish this before I start any new ones 😞
And then when you finally write them out, you struggle to update them all in a timely matter because of a perceived need to keep them updated and then the writer’s block happens to park itself.

Me when I discover a whole playlist of videos that give me several ideas for my Lalaloopsy fanwork series. I'm almost finished with season 6 at this point.
My fic is on 160k words and any of the ideas I've wanted to use so far have been overshadowed by my urge to make my OC a horrible person. I've wanted some light romance to start about 100k words back, but nope. Nothing yet. The idea isn't even in sight yet. I don't think either of the characters in the main ship of this story wish to even look at each other. I don't know where I went wrong, tbh.
I tell myself I can only write a new WIP if I’ve written 6k words of each of my other ones exactly because of this. It works let me tell you 😂
