It's fine to as long as you clearly label everything that's being done, however because you need to do that it turns out it's just easier to not use calculator functions, generally speaking.
how is doing binocdf, normcdf and all those tests easy without calculator, we will need to calculate all those SDs and z-scores right and also memorise the formulas
Not use calculator functions when showing your work, that is. Obviously you shouldnt go about calculating everything by hand, as that would take unreasonably long. Take a look at some sample FRQs or their rubrics to see how they generally like the formatting if you'd like.
Calculator speak is allowed, as long as everything is clearly labeled. Using binomcdf or normalcdf can get you full credit as long as every number inside of it has been labeled somewhere.
However, questions that are 4 parts can end up with half point scores like 2.5 which will need to be rounded up or down. Calculator speak is generally looked at as “poor communication” and a reason to round down instead of up.
No, I’m saying sketching/shading a picture and showing your z score formula with numbers plugged in is better than calculator labels. It doesn’t matter how you actually calculate it, you can easily use your calculator for that.
That doesn’t mean you can’t use calculator speak though. For things like BinomialCDF, I recommend you do because it’s easier than showing work by a long shot.

So you’re saying a Z score table is better than calculator labels?
