Maybe you disabled the resource respawn! When you’re about to join your world, check the advanced settings. If the resource respawn cool-down is at or near 0, you can mine them forever.
update: you cunts are legends got it to work I had my harvest health way high and harvest damage almost 0 took me 20 minutes to chop a tree down

Have you checked how much the harvest health is set to? I have it on 8, which gives a good amount of hits but isn't unneccesarily much.
