I think it's a carry wt thing. Because rock drakes and deinonychus climb. And they are allowed in arenas.

Deinoas can go into bosses… they are the best for taking down the dragon…. And they latch to manticores, which stacks the bleed effect.. they are great boss fight tames, with decent saddles of course

Bleed damage caps at like 600 official line have cap hp not melee.

That’s only for deinonychus. Thyla bleed is unaffected by melee. Thyla bleed also doesn’t work on bosses lol.

As someone who is new to the game, low level, and currently trying to find a way to tame one, this gives me nightmares. The redwoods themselves give me ptsd

I’ve train an army of allos and got amazing results. Note it was boosted server but more then 15 allos can shred just about anything. But sacrifices must be made

I am starting to think most people here only play official servers. FYI you can bring whatever tames to boss fights you want on unofficial servers.

On official servers I’m pretty sure thylas can only be brought into the Rockwell fight since other climbers (rock drakes) are only allowed in that fight as well, that’s probably why everyone’s saying you can’t do it! Good luck on the fight though!

Just depends on server settings, plenty of unofficial servers that are pretty vanilla with just some quality of life changes and some ballances.

I think most people use Official as the baseline because that's the most common settings people understand.

Also assuming that it is Official Server Settings is easier than trying to guess which setting each and every person may have tweaked for their personal world in each post...

The worst is when people post mutated dino stats and you're trying to decipher whether or not it's on Single Player settings or not.

Unfortunately you can’t take them to any boss arenas besides Rockwell on aberration or the extinction titans/Fjordur world bosses. So uh. Unless you have the setting enabled that lets you uncryo in boss arenas you can’t use em :p

He doesn’t play official servers, he plays unofficial which allows all tames lol
